# Lindsay Page | Capterra > Content Editor Experience I have been an editor at Capterra for three years, specializing in editing data-driven research and tech trends reports for small and midsize businesses.  Prior to joining Capterra, I worked for print and digital publications as a journalist and editor. I interviewed industry experts and wrote cover stories to help promote the importance and relevancy of cybersecurity around the world. I also spent more than a decade writing and editing for a variety of other industries, including hospitality, real estate, finance, and corporate and securities regulation. To provide an answer or action to those reading our content while also providing engaging and accurate information in a compelling narrative is a dream come true for me.  Expertise While working as a writer and editor in the cybersecurity industry, I was able to help create and manage a new publication that specialized in campus security. This publication raised awareness for more security in schools, colleges, hospitals, etc., and it is still in production today, more than 10 years later. I have had several different roles in the editorial realm, including associate director of content, where I led a team of exceptionally talented writers. This is where I developed an affinity for coaching and mentoring, learning to help my colleagues reach their full potential.  Education I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, creative writing, and history. With a love of writing fiction and researching European history, I was able to find a degree that has not only helped my career in editing but also prepared me for the heavy research necessary for thought leadership and data analysis.
