Cons The platform, especially for creating a new expense report, is not intuitive. Overall I would recommend Certify to others, especially since they continue to improve their product and add features. Pros Most employees find Certify very easy to use, and love the mobile app. We moved from Concur Expense which had more back end functionality for administrators but was not user friendly for travelers. The price point for Certify was significantly lower and yet we get a great product and excellent customer service. Certify is also responsive to feedback, and improving the product with new features and enhancements. Cons Could expand some reporting features or allow ad hoc reporting would be fantastic. Add some additional functionality for administrators to flag certain expense types and individuals for review. Allow some expense types to not require receipts. Pros This software have been really helpful to me in keeping track of my mileage expenses as well as the ease in which i was able to navigate the software in my mobile phone. I am also fascinated on how easy it is in compiling reports and easy interface. Cons I can not pin point any CON, I find most lagging areas taken care of which I am really grateful for. You can even Email a receipt directly to your on line account and sync it directly to your account. Cons Hard to rectify on iPhone. Wasn't excited about changing to certify however once I became familiar with the app it made my expense reporting fast and easy. It is easy to categorize expenditures and submit reports for review and for processing. The whole process is quite simple. Cons It would be nice if there were more customization options for the month end summaries that are generated. It's user friendly and I love the ability to use the mobile app. Pros I like that I can merge expenses when I submit my receipts using different methods. I also like that you can submit receipts using different methods. Cons The only thing I like least is that it tries to automatically fill out some of the fields for you. However, I like how timely things get imported into my wallet, and I love getting notifications when something is ready because I tend to forget I even changed something! The ability to scan or text or upload receipts provides flexibility, especially when traveling. Cons My biggest issue is that once I am in my Wallet, I have a hard time identifying what is a change and what is a receipt. There needs to be a way to differentiate this better because if you accidentally add a receipt into your wallet instead of a charge it is very hard to find the delete button and then you have to start all over again. Pros The app is user friedly and allows me to easily store expenses throughout a trip and upload to new or existing reports. The review process and payment time is quicker than previous softwares we used. Cons The report freezes occasionally requiring a reload of the page. Pros Very quick and easy to use. I like that if I make a mistake it is easy to correct. Cons It's hard to correct or delete your list of people that have been added when using the attendees list. With Certify we have been able to eliminate the paper expense reports and we can upload the expense reports into our AP system. This has freed up our AP clerk to help in other areas and has made it easy for out-of-state employees to complete their expense reports. Pros \- Can upload to AP and no longer have to manually enter expense reports - Remote employees no longer have to mail their expense reports with receipts attached - Workflow routing is easy to set up and simplifies the approval process - Mobile app allows employees to easily capture a picture of the receipt and sync it with Certify - Responsive customer support Cons Occasionally we have two different pieces of documentation (such as a receipt and a purchase requisition) that we would like to attach to one expense but the system only allows one receipt to be attached to each expense. Also, sometimes when an employee attaches a picture of a receipt, the reviewer cannot use the magnify button to increase the size of the receipt for easier viewing.
