### "I love Ezyvet"

I honestly love Ezyvet. I have found it much better than the system we previously used, easier to keep track of everything, and it's all in one place as opposed to multiple different pieces of software.

Pros

I love this system. It's easy and makes the work day run smoothly. It's great being able to access it from everywhere, not just certain computers, and I love being able to put in fear scales for our patients. Everything about this system is just easy and I love it.

Cons

It took a while to learn, it wasn't the easiest software to get a grasp of, and ironing out all the kinks, but I think that will be the same for anyone that changes from one software to another.

### "Flexibal and versitile hospital softwear"

We use this program for scheduling, record storage, communication with client and rDVMs, and payment.

Pros

I love that it allows for us being a referral clinic and includes the rDVM info as well as the client to be stored in association with the patient. I love that there is usually more than one way to achieve the same outcome - since everyone's intuitive is different this helps many different users to function efficiently.

Cons

I don't understand the billing set up, and its hard for me to find the right key words to search in the help section.

### "There is no comparison - ezyvet all the way!"

As we endeavored to use this system thoroughly we had some initial teething issues however together ezyvet and ourselves worked together to work through them. The experience now is that we have a great system that fulfills our needs and then some, more industry partners are integrating with ezyvet and it will be better when more join. The team are experienced with the system and forever gaining knowledge and confidence.

Pros

Many things to be honest... off the top of mt head (it was several years ago)... I completed extensive research at the time as this is what I do and not forgetting it is a big investment especially in time and infrastructure in any business so here are my reasons ezyvet won hands down. Cloud based (reduces updates for terminals), Amazons AWS multi-billion dollar security infrastructure (eliminates ransomware), Complete freedom regarding integration e.g. own website etc., Geared toward development with 40 odd developers employed (Circa 2016) (only going to get better), Clients have the ability to request features to include/'improve' the software and last however certainly not least - the Support is the best I have experienced. (I wouldn't have made it through without you guys!!)

Cons

It's not that I dislike this element as it's actually a positive. Ezyvet has a huge amount of functionality if you wish to use it... however this does mean it takes some time to learn all the idiosyncrasies what this system can do for you. If you are prepared for this, do your pre-implementation homework, implement well and allow time for your team to absorb the inevitable 'change' you will fare better than most.

### "Happy overall with our transition to ezyVet"

Making the switch to ezyVet has been a positive one. We went from needing to outsource several specific tasks to being able to manage these all through our PMS which is awesome. Despite in-house training and recorded webinars, I feel it takes 6-9 months to hit your stride and be comfortable with the program (if you are trying to use it to it's fullest capabilities!)

Pros

Cloud-based is becoming more and more essential these days which was the driving force behind us making the change. EzyVet stood out among it's competitors due to our robust the software was in direct comparison. Workflow is certainly different than what we were used to but after the initial adjustment has been a change for the better. Ability to standardize templates and generate billing triggers really helps with overall team efficiency. Support is accessible and ezyVet is always making improvements and seeking feedback which is very much appreciated.

Cons

Being that ezyVet was designed for large scale referral and emergency practices, certain features appeared to be an oversight. Day practice type features: Wellness plans, SOC/reminder systems had quite a few bugs that had to be worked out which resulted in many frustrations early into our conversion but were sorted out over several months time. Certain support issues require escalation to senior support which can add on extended periods before a resolution is reached.

### "Steep Learning Curve that is Ultimately Worth It"

Pros

We love how easy it is to perform the primary functions. Customer support is another huge plus. They are easy to get a hold of and can remote into your computer to help resolve questions.

Cons

Going live with ezyVet definitely hindered the day-to-day operations that week. There is plenty of training and preparation beforehand but only hands-on experience can prepare you for actually putting it to use. Fortunately, you have plenty of support and the software is easy to learn.

Pros

Being able to customize the software and use it to my needs was very important to us.

The set-up process takes a lot of time but is worth the effort. If you put in the time and energy your go-live day will be much smoother.

I have been in the veterinary field for about 12 years now and have worked at other hospitals. EzyVet is by far the best program ive used as a receptionist.

Pros

Most of all, It's easy to navigate. One thing that comes to mind is when importing labs from outside hospitals, messages are sent to the doctor simultaniously. That helps so much and saves time.

Cons

I cannot complain to be honest. Since Beverly Hills Vet signed up for it, I have been very pleased with how easy it is to operate and use.

Pros

Cons

The medication section could be improved to allow better flow with current medications on/ off. The volume of variables can cause differences between doctors that makes it challenging to find information for each one.

From a clinical perspective, ezyVet allowed my team to become more efficient and increase revenue due to better charge capture. From an enterprise perspective, being able to centralize product codes, templates, and other settings allows us to make implementation easier on the practices and gives us much more valuable reporting as everyone uses the same codes.

Pros

Cloud-based, no server and you can log in anywhere. Very easy to use, most team members become competent within a week.

Cons

This is a hard one as I do not really have anything I don't like. I will say that there can be bug issues as with any program. However, support and developers are always ready and willing to fix the issues identified in a timely manner.

Reason for choosing ezyVet

Support and overall look and feel of the software. ezyVet took the time to meet with our leadership team and go over all the features and how to use the software. They followed up regularly to answer any questions we had. Other companies sent us a demo but did not meet with us or follow up. As this is a major purchase we wanted to ensure we went with a more hands-on company that would help us with the transition and beyond. Several years later and they have not disappointed.

It's definitely a step up from any other software I've used.

Pros

Ezyvet streamlines and automates a lot of items that aren't addressed in other software and takes a huge burden off the clinic staff so we can be much more functionally useful to patients.

Cons

There are some places where change logs aren't in place, in particular prescription requests that could be added for easier tracking. Also the memo system does leave something to be desired. There's a lot of instances of lost communications since the reply option doesn't actually group the messages, so we end up with a lot of redundancy in associates addressing issues or looking for answers that have already been resolved.

Love ezyVet. Always have great experiences when working with the support team. Our practice has been able to continue to grow in part due to the continued advancements that ezyVet is constantly making. Not everything integrates with them because they are still newer as a practice management software but that is slowly starting to change.

Pros

How efficient it is. After implementing, we FELT the time save and how much easier it makes your processes.

Cons

How much set up on the front end it was. I understand though because part of what makes this software so great is how much works on the back end. However, in order for it to work well behind the scenes, it takes a lot of set up in the beginning.

Pros

The product is easy to use. It has everything you need in one essential portal. Charting, prescriptions, client communications, financial estimates and invoicing, scheduling, and more. It is a one stop shop!

Cons

The only con I could think of would be- finding an easier way to find your clinic to login if you are using a new computer or clean your computer, whatever it may be. I have to often search through another browser and type in exactly the web address and that is a little bit of a pain. Maybe if there was an option at the top to put what company then your username and password.

I have been very pleased with the ability to build templates. This saves time, ensures documentation uniform and that we are capturing all billing items.

Pros

Compared to other medical record software that I have used or looked at prior to purchasing this product, ezyVet is the most costumizable and has the most features. With time building a record and ensuring that all products are captured on billing has become faster and easier. The fact that it is web based was a bonus but has now become a mandatory need.

Cons

ezyVet is NOT easy at first but becomes familiar with time. There are a lot of different ways to get to the same place and without proper protocols followed by the entire team it can be challenging to ensure that the team is all putting data into the same place.

Overall I like using easyvet. Was a little tricky in the beginning getting to know the software. Compared to other software I have used in the veterinary field it is one of the best. Enjoy the connection of diagnostic requests and laboratories.

Pros

Ease of finding information in patient records. Ease of booking appointment and adjusting those when needed.

Cons

Money Allocation button. Sometimes too many route to follow to find information. Sometimes feels that the software is so easy it almost complicates itself. We do not want inventory to be integrated with AVP but being able or knowing how to set amounts and get an inventory report when levels are low may be nice.

Having had experience with two other veterinary software systems, I was very pleased with the transition to ExyVet. The pre-transition preparation, data transfer, and testing was on time and very well sequenced so that it came off without much difficulty. The "D-Day" of cut over was relatively smooth and painless. Obviously no major software transition is going to be completely painless when dealing with over 60 employees, but I will say that it was as painless as it possibly could have been. I was very pleased with the help we had on-site for the first week of the transition. Their help in developing new standard operating procedures to assist in integrating the software into our normal work flow was outstanding. I would recommend EzyVet without reservation.

Pros

It is intuitive, well integrated, very well thought out as to efficient work flow sequences, and is always being upgraded to suit the needs of the customer. Being cloud based, something can be fixed or changed (when needed) very quickly in a matter of minutes. The medical record is very well thought out and useful; easy to navigate. The ability to pull up records from any computer anywhere and see lab results, x-ray reports, ultrasound reports, client financial data, and handle client questions and document it (again due to the cloud based software) allows one freedom from having to work from a single location. Responsive customer service. Integrates well with Smart flowsheet.

Cons

Due to confusion of the definition of "medical record" from some staff members, sometimes multiple invoices are generated on a single patient that has to be sorted out and not missed. This, however is an operator error, and not an error of the software. This trend also tends to be reduced with operator familiarity. The frequency of the error occurring however detracts from the overall happiness with the software. To be honest, to fill this part of the review in required some significant time to think of something negative to say about it, and again this may be a statement more of the employees than it is a statement about the software.

ezyVet staff is great! Super helpful. Implementation was good. Staff is knowledgeable

Pros

We really like the referrals letter. The way they look, how we are able to customize the letters. We also like the feature of sending records to rDVM's online portal via rVetLink. It is easy to use, once you get familiar with it

Cons

We wish everything had the "chains" to be able to get to the portal. Biggest example would be communications. We send everything to rDVM's and it would save so much time if we could just turn the "chains" green and they would send automatically. Also, there are several different spots to put the same information. Again this relates to communications. If everyone is not on the same page, communications can be put under different tabs and different spots within the same tab. And not all these areas communicate with one another so it can make it difficult to find communications

EzyVet has been a game changer for our practice. It has significantly reduced the amount of time that our doctors need to write medical records. It has helped us streamline our workflow. It is much better integrated in terms of record management thus reducing double entry.

Cons

The appointment scheduling could use a bit of upgrading, particularly to avoid double booking. Also, it would be nice to be able to see client/patient notes when scheduling from the calendar.
