### "ezyVet allowed our clinic to grow!"

Overall our experience with ezyVet has been amazing. It was the best decision we made overall to expand our practice, profits, and ability to practice better medicine!

Pros

The thing I like the most about this software is the ability to edit most anything you need to fit your practice needs. For example when adding an appointment to the schedule, you can set up the appointment to start billing for that type of exam. Traditionally, when a Technician or Assistant loads an exam room and takes history, this software allows you to create "Clinical Templates" that you can name for example; Canine Annual, Limping, ADR, HBC, Vomiting, Diarrhea, etc. This allows the tech to select the correct template to ask the question that the doctor wants to know. This minimizes missed information when taking a history and also allows you to practice better medicine by making suggestions to the pet owner. Our canine annual exam is set up to ask all the questions you typically would ask but adds in things like "Would you like to vaccinate for Lyme today" and "Did you know that 1 in 9 Adults have some abnormality in their annual screening labwork results?" Adding these questions increased our compliance tremendously! We used to only sale about one tray (25) of lyme vaccines a year before ezyVet. Now we are rolling through that in a month easily!!! This is the same for FELV, Lepto and annual screening panels.

Cons

The only thing that really isn't so easy to use for us is the reminder card system. It took us a while to understand how to set them up to generate correctly. The true downside is I have to print them out and mail the post cards myself daily. No one has integrated yet to do your postcards for reminders. This isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. As a side note the software does allow you to easily email reminders but our client base really likes the post card method. Also, occasionally ezyVet has to merge servers and the software will be unusable for about 10 minuets while this occurs.

Outstanding and I mean really outstanding. Customer service? Perfect. Have a question just call and some really nice people anwer all your questions. This program has so many fetures it is impossible to sum it all up in one paragraph.

Pros

Trying to pin down a simple answer to what I like most is hard to do. The program has so many perfect fetures. Scedulining is great but so is tracking product usage. Individual record are layed out clear and understandable. Impossible for me to pick one, but intergations could have the lead. Payjuction, Idexx referance Lab, Blue Rabbit all provide excellent intergration and service.

Cons

Printing documents at the end of an appointment. One page for the payment, one for rabies certificate, one for vaccine records and finally the summery. This could definitly be simplified.

Frustrating. There is seemingly no way to create estimates for clients that can then be digitally transferred into a later invoice. Once estimates are created, we have to manually recreate them on the invoice which creates more work and opportunity for error. My hospital also has an excessive list of bloodwork options, most of which are rarely used, making it EXTREMELY cumbersome to find the right labwork for a patient at a reasonable price. There are also way too many steps to get something done. Part of this is because my hospital never provided any sort of training or standardized sop for use -there may be more efficient ways to use- but if you are a relief person or new user trying to navigate it without any instruction or I guess if it hasn't been customized for the practice flow, it is a nightmare.

Pros

It has a lot of fuctionality options which likely could be useful if setup correctly. There seem to be many ways for creating customizable templates. .

Cons

Without extensive individual customization to streamline use and options, it is very clunky and inefficient, not intuitive. I get lost between the various tabs. It is hard to scroll through a patient's record if you are not on the right tabs.This creates a distraction that interferes with client interaction.

We have been with ezyvet for approximately 8-10 years and it has continued to improve and grown with our practice. I am still learning new features & it has evolved a lot since the beginning. Inventory tracking has improved tremendously with the ability to track inventory in the hospital and all truck locations.

Pros

Cloud Based- so we can access records from all of our devices. It has grown with our practice, and they continue to make improvements.

Cons

Would like to be able to apply a vaccine or product to an entire barn of horses at one time.

Reason for choosing ezyVet

We used Advantage Equine before and loved it but hated synching and we out grew its capabilities. The ability for it to continue to grow with us made us try ezyvet. Switching PIMS is a huge undertaking for a practice and we hope to never have to do it again. We worked directly with Hadleigh- the company president at the time. Implementation was difficult back then, but that was many years ago.

Excellent service, support, ease of use. Our staff rarely complains about our PIMS now that we've switched.

Pros

I love that ezyVet is cloud-based and I absolutely love all the integrations that ezyVet has, such as all Idexx labs, radiology, and ultrasound. We are a 24-hour emergency clinic and there is absolutely no down time with ezyVet, which is a must! ezyVet also works very well with VetRadar, which we use for both our hospitalized and surgery patients. Helps a ton with capturing all charges. We have loved ezyVet since we switch a few years ago. Support is great too! Highly recommend!

Cons

Still would like to have a little more customization with statements and receipts, and some reporting, but most everything we need it to do, ezyVet can make it happen.

Overall Ezyvet is an excellent PMS that allows us to look after our patients and clients in a fully integrated manner. It makes out life much easier. It takes a bit of work to set it up - but when set up Ezyvet is very useful. The support staff are very good at helping when needed.

Overall very pleased with the system. Other than the scheduling issue stated above I have very little complaints about Ezyvet.

Pros

It's user friendly, intuitive, and includes lots of features that other EHR's do not.

Cons

Rescheduling appointments with Ezyvet is a bit of a pain. It would be great to have a similar feature like Cornerstone has, where you can right click on an appointment, select "reschedule", then click on the day/time you want to reschedule to. Almost like a copy/paste function. Additionally, Cornerstone will alert you if you click on an appointment time when another user is actively scheduling an appointment during that block which helps prevent double booking between users.

Pros

EzyVet is the best in the business. Customer service is always responsive, and the software is extremely customizable.

Cons

There are some aspects of the software that make it quirky and restrictive. For example, attaching images and handouts to a record so that it can be included in a summary is a cumbersome process. That's just one of many quirks and restrictions.

Everything is color coded AND labeled so the ease of use is fantastic.

Cons

The constant system updates. As a creature of habit, it takes time to adjust at the different fonts when changed, the different small changes are actually very noticeable and the frequency makes it challenging at times.

I love easy vet and I have had no issues. I would recommend it for all practices. I love the efficiency and understandability of it.

Pros

I love the convenience and how it's easy to navigate. Compared to previous programs I have used this was the best set-up and easiest to learn.

Cons

I have no major cons for ezyvet, possibly the only thing I would like better is if petdesk connected better with ezyvet. We will have occasional appointments entered incorrectly or the exam price is not entered, as well as the description for the appointment when transferred over is very long and with random information.

### "The Best Veterinary Software System Out There"

Overall I am impressed with this software since most Veterinary systems are geared toward general practice but EzyVet is able to customize for the use in the specialty environments. After a couple of weeks of staff training we went live and with very little issue and this factor alone was amazing compared to what we had gone through with a prior system change.

Pros

1st Support - Quick response time to any inquiry or help with fixes. 2nd Customizable - Easy to set-up 3nd Ease of use - The only system that does work for Veterinary specialty hospitals

Cons

1st - The document templates can be touchy and can be difficult to make documents look professional. Would prefer a more Word style system 2nd - The inability to set a minimum price for products

Pros

There are a few things that I like compared to our past system. There is an ease of use and as a Client Service Representative that is fantastic. Payment are also very easy. I love that I can email everything straight from the software versus having to download everything. Appointment confirmation is very easy to do as well.

Cons

On the veterinary assistant and CSR side, easy of use can be tough when it comes to medical records and where to look for certain things. I also do not like when I am trying to navigate out of a patient chart and I click on the schedule and it automatically prompts to make an appointment. This can be a very frustrating thing.

I have had great experience with Ezyvet. When it is working it is excellent, when we find a glitch it works well.

Pros

The colourful dashboard and ability to build the consulting schedule from the back end makes mixed practice easier. I can programme my vet time more efficiently because of the structures ezyvet delivers.

Cons

I least like the inability to access some statistics easily, it can get quite complex trying to get the data i need out for practice management

We are 24 hours and at times have had issues connecting with support to resolve issues but I believe they are still growing this team and it has been avalible 95% of the time when needed.

As we continue to grow moving forward, ezyVet seems to be able to grow with us and meet our needs. There is not perfect system out there but for us, it was a clear choice ezyVet could help meet our needs then and now. EzyVet seems to continually be improving and produces changes based on client suggestions and needs.

Pros

We love the memo system as we can communicate with all of our staff or beak it down in groups. The system is pretty much customizable to most of our needs and our growth pattern. Integrated inventory system is very helpful as well. Once you are fully integrated and you understand the system, you should be able to see how it will benefit your practices needs. It takes a team to get this implemented and up and running but once you are there it's good.

Cons

Integration was lengthy to prepare for but it gets your organized. The time delay is something that bothers us. When we read memo's, it take a long time to load it and then move on to the next one. We have great wifi throughout our clinic but seems to affect all computers this way.Memos that we send and deleted memos - we wish you could either put them in specific folders to search for them or at least group them all together by senders name.

It has been great for our 24 hour practice. I would recommend it to anyone as long as they are comfortable with the price. It has been worth it for us.

Pros

It does everything! You can set this software up to do just about anything you want it to. EzyVet also integrates with all of our main suppliers, which makes managing inventory a piece of cake. We also really like and utilize the wellness plans. The departments also work great if you have multiple locations or divisions with different pricing and DVMs.

Cons

Its expensive. Sometimes updates will come out that break certain features and you have to wait weeks for the next update to come out for it to be fixed (see online booking summer/fall 2020.) Pet Portal needs polishing. Very hard for clients to use/understand.

My favorite of all veterinary hospital softwares.

Pros

Very simple to use, user-friendly. Simple to teach new staff how to use our system. I used Ezyvet at a prior hospital, and was so happy to hear we use this system at our new location. I love the modern, up-to-date software. We love putting patient pictures on our charts too, always a day-maker.

Cons

I work at two veterinary hospitals owned by the same company- I switch back and forth between locations. Just a minor inconvenience to have to switch label/documents printers as well as ensuring I have the correct stock selected.

Ease of use, concise, can be updated from multiple different areas, it's updated immediately.

Cons

Tabs, so many tabs! We don't utilize a lot of it because it's not relevant to our set up, so there's a lot of unnecessary parts that confuse new staff.

I love Ezyvet and share my thoughts with other colleagues at additional workplaces.

Pros

I love the ease of use and the ability to search up a record via multiple pieces of information, ie phone number, email address etc. I love the payment integration which allows for less mistakes as opposed to manual entry.

Cons

The only downside is I'd love if estimates could automatically be coverting into invoices rather than needing to rebill entirely.

I do not see me ever needing to change practice software ever again. Put simply, this program does an amazing job of automating my vision of how our practice Standards Of Care are managed, and I can do practically everything I want it to. I love how so many parts of this program allow significant time saving steps, and there is lot of automation. The more you customise, the better this gets, so use these features! This program is very well layed out. Whilst it might be a struggle at first to ensure your entire team is on board with where/how to do specific (practice-customised) tasks, the importance and ease of finding that specific information later is self-evident. The tracking of changes significantly increases accountability and ensures team consistency. The integration is amazing - with laboratories, S8 log book, SmartFlow and more! The autobilling and record keeping is a breeze! If anyone in the team has questions that only ezyVet can answer, the Support system is superb. You can call up if it is a critical issue, or send a written request and rank it's importance. They are very responsive and changes or ideas are also warmly received. I am only just now starting the analysis of data and learning how and what data I want from the program. I am confident even before this review that the program is allowing me to better understand where to focus my attention on business development and financial goals. I know any feedback for improvements is valued.

Cons

There is truly nothing I don't like. Some of the challenges: In order to truly get the best results, you have to understand how the program works, and put in the necessary hours to learn how to customise your own practice program. This time investment can be a very daunting pre-changeover and you will need an ongoing interest to push the program to it's limits as you learn the amazing features over time. If you are not dedicated to put in the hours, then you can't complain it doesn't do what you want. Remember - set it up once and it is there forever more! I have heard users unhappy about how certain features work, only to delve deeper and find that they really had no idea/interest about how to customise their so called "problem", or the immense value as to WHY something is as it is. I am a "details" personality type, and I had intentions to customise a lot of the functions pre-changeover. I could foresee that there was a need for significant time investment in personalising this program long-prior to the changeover date. I would have favoured being permitted to have the access and software training much earlier in the induction process to ease this anticipated time burden. But I understand that that has been addresses with my feedback for others. Any internet based cloud program will suffer from gremlins of dropping requests on occasion, requiring you to reload the page, but that is not unique to ezyVet. Yes, annoying, but that's the internet - suck it up!

being able to add patient/client demographics quickly. Update medical HX fast enough that within seconds its back to the ER doctors, spell check for medical terminology, getting messages to exactly who I need them to get to and knowing they got the message. WAY.TO.GO.EZYVET!

Pros

As someone who recently transitioned from 17 years in human care to veterinary care, the only thing I have ever known is hiccups and confusion. Every program we used ( even with the leading health care company in my state) took what seemed like hundreds of times reading manuals to even get through daily tasks, Would time out, or simply not work. That was the norm until coming to MedVet. One of the things that held me back is the thought of learning yet again, another program to give me the upmost of anxiety. The fact that this program is so easy to use, we can spend more time with pets and caring for clients which is why we got into the field in the first place!

Cons

I can't think of anything that truly bothers me.
