Pretty good. I wish you worked with my insurance carrier for a discount. My carrier Acuity works with 2 other providers and I would get a 15% discount on insurance! thats a lot given my auto insurance is about $40k/yr.

Pros

Cameras and alerts for sleepy drivers, distracted driving and driving too close!

Cons

Installation and battery issues on vehicles. We constantly have trucks with dead batteries if its a long weekend.

Pros

Canceling my service. The billing issues occur so frequently it’s impossible to believe they aren’t doing it on purpose.

Cons

Incorrectly billed, refunds not processed, lack of customer service.

One phone call to order. set up a monthly payment plan fit to my business needs. Quick to mail the product to me.

Pros

The Customer Support is great. You get to talk to a human that speaks clear English. The web page that you log into for data is very user friendly.

Cons

It was pretty hard to get someone to install my device. My board wanted the device hard wired so that my employees could not unplug the device. My 2025 Truck did not have the correct cables to install from the GM Manufacturer, but we were able to order them and get my device up and running.

Great. We have several people using this tool and we are able to divide it into small groups so only certain people have visibility to certain things! Works great!

Pros

I do love the GPS insight website. I like many features like the mileage tracking, the diagnostics area

the reporting is not as easy as the previous program we were using, Rhino

It has been a good investment. I would like to see more vehicle operating information included in base price. Some companies offer what I talking about.

Pros

ease of use. Apps for phone and laptop. Features to locate assets. Many alerts are available or customize your own. Product support is very good and little or no wait. People in support are knowledgeable and easy to work with. The screen software is clear and customizable.

Cons

Reception is a problem in certain areas. Installing in older class 7 & 8 trucks can be demanding. Our new class 7&8 are easier.

Overall it's been good, but I think there are small bugs here and there that always makes me question the accuracy and it requires more handholding than I would like.

Pros

I like the Manager mobile application. This is much improved from the first version. Setting up vehicles and managing them is straight forward and easy to understand. Managing vehicle maintenance is easy as well. We have regular meetings with \[sensitive content hidden\] that is really beneficial for us to provide feedback and to ask questions. He has been great to work with over the years. When I call support they are always helpful. There was a period of time with the 3G changeouts where the support desk seemed overwhelmed and not available when we needed them for installation issues, but those issues seem to be over.

Cons

Billing. We seem to go in cycles where that can't get either the rate correct or the number of vehicles or both. Resolution of the matter can take months and months to resolve. I would like to see a list of the modems or the unit numbers included in the invoices and not just a total number. It makes it difficult to figure out the issue. When GPS insight finds a bug I would like to see communication to the customer on what it is, what is being done to address it and when it will be fixed. Also, when changes are made that impact the customer, we should receive communication about that. Waiting for us to find out is not the best method. An example of this would be the non-reporting performance report selections seemed to change from OR functions to AND functions in the selection. Another is sometime the vehicle maintenance doesn't work correctly when a oil change is completed and the help desk had to fix it by changing the date on when it was performed by one day. I also seem times when the vehicle is only reporting periodically while driving, I see many miles of gaps in the data. The answer from the service desk is to always push the latest firmware. Why do we continue to have this issue and why can't we proactively have updated firmware pushed to the device. It makes me question the data for all devices and not just the one I happen to dig into and notice the issue. Usually I notice it when I'm doing a history on the vehicle driving.

I have had a really great time using this app and the team has been amazing!

Pros

The ability to see what my technicians are doing, and the alerts to help me teach them what is expected of them. the weekly reports have helped our scores quite a bit, as we are able to show our techs. it became a competition!

Cons

The inability to view a spreadsheet/ page of every technician and their weekly scores. i get a lot of questions about them, but have to go to the tech's page to view. i can only see top and bottom three - no in-between - without going to every tech independently.

We have been a GPS Insight customer for 5 years with no complaints. Any support issues we've had were promptly replied to and resolved, most of which were updating to new vehicles, etc.

Pros

It fully integrates with our GIS system via the MultiSpeak Interface and have very little downtime.

Cons

We do not have any dislikes at this time.

Insight has been great giving us feedback on the drivers and allowing us the ability to have growth training. It has helped us save our drivers too! Being able to send insurance videos is wonderful!

Pros

GPS Insight has a lot of great features but being able to see all around the truck and the driver has been a saving grace more than once already.

Cons

Finding events can be tricky at times. If there is not an alert but a driver says something happened between certain times, it gets tricky finding an event.

I can't wait until the contract is up so we can start dealing with a company that cares about their customers. GPS Insight is the most unprofessional company we had the misfortune of dealing with in several years.

Pros

Software is absolutely the worst, our trucks lose communication daily.

Cons

Tech support is always blaming the hardware installation, always wanting us to pull the truck off the road and trouble shoot the problem with them over the phone.

### "GPS Insight - Making Us Look Good to our Customers"

We are able to be efficient with getting the right tech to the right emergency when they arise during our days of business, saving money and customer frustration. We are able to use reports to prove when a tech has been on a location and how much time so should a customer question the amount of time being charged to them for service, we have proof, accomplishing our ability to receive full payment for time spent. We are also able to compare driving complaints to who is where and when to help techs recognize where courtesy might be a better option....

Pros

We have a huge fleet of vehicles and service a large area of Colorado. We have our customer locations set up within the information of this system, and by having current, up to the moment abilities to know where a tech is compared to where an urgent issue has come up for one of our valued customers is priceless for us. We are able to deliver a level of customer service that our customers appreciate greatly!

Cons

I don't necessary believe this to be a software issue, but besides us not being allowed to use your service without having to pay - also not a software issue by the way - I'd say that when a vehicle stops working in the system it can be a frustration. The only contributing factors to that issue arising though is low battery on the vehicle, or wiring coming loose....again...not a software issue.

This is a excellent software to assit in managing employees to meet necessary appointments. It has been very useful to locate other employees close to work area when extra help or equipment is needed off other trucks.

Pros

I love the ability to use your software as a app on my phone as well as on my office computer.

Cons

I would personally like to see the app alittle more user friendly. It's great but I do believe it could use alittle more attention. I have called into support and was able to get the answers.I needed in a quick time without being stuck on hold for long periods of time

GPS Insight saves me time and money by allowing me to dispatch faster without calling my techs in the field to find out where they are as well as track our time for our customers during jobs. It allows us to monitor proper vehicle maintenance schedules as well which saves money on potential maintenance issues.

Pros

The customer service has been great. The overall software is simple to use both on desktop and in the app. The price is beyond compare. The software integrates with our fuel cards making it simple to keep track of our overall gasoline expenses. It is fast, reliable, alerts make it possible to monitor our fleet with precision. I can quickly monitor all aspects of our fleet including maintenance scheduling.

I can track all my drivers every second of the day!

Pros

The best feature is creating geofences. Instant alerts are sent right away to my smartphone. Also alerts are sent for vehicle speeding, idling, and posted speed traffic violations. You can also check the odometer for each vehicle through the website.

Cons

Sometimes the screen will log out after inactivity. Once or twice the network will not work for a few hours. There is a few seconds delay while vehicles are moving but you have to upgrade the plan for real time monitoring. Some reports take a long time to generate based on how much activity has happened over the past few weeks.

Everything from the equipment setup to the support and follow up by the sales staff was perfect.

Pros

Zone setup allows our POS system to mark orders as delivered when the truck returns automatically Truck maintenance and mileage may be tracked by the office without having to chase down a truck to get a mileage report. Messaging direct to the GPS unit on the dashboard.

Cons

Somewhat cumbersome to set up, but once you are learning it things flow fast.

Pros

We can keep track of all of drivers, we have about 20 or so, so this comes in handy quite often. It will also track when the vehicle needs maintenance and will send alerts to me whenever there is something wrong with the vehicle.

Cons

More often than I would like, the trackers come undone and I have to call the drivers to unplug and plug it back in. We wanted it to be unknown but was not possible with the large plug in they use.

We recieved the ability to track out truck and other assets on a real time basis.

Pros

I think what i like the most about the software would have to be the mapping that is provided. it is very easy to follow where your truck are at any given time. I also use the IFTA reporting features quarterly to keep track of the miles driven in each state.

Cons

what i like least about the software would have to be the process you must take in order to add/change a truck to the system.
