November 21, 2025 5.0 Pros The platform of expensify is intuitive and easy to navigate, making the submission process quick and hassle-free. The approval workflow is seamless, and notifications keep everything on track without delays. Cons There are complaints about slow or limited support, especially when dealing with urgent issues. I would recommend to anyone that has to keep track of their expenses. Pros This application is very user friendly. Adding expenses with a click of the picture button makes adding the receipt super easy. Cons Mine does not automatically load the receipt for our accounting team. I have to fill it out each month. July 21, 2025 5.0 Overall positive and would recommend to other companies and other friends in the industry. This tool is very helpful and I never worry about my Expensify reimbursements. Pros I like that expensify is easy to use! Whether its dropping a file into the receipt box or adding members to your expense report. Cons I don't like how tedious it can be add multiple expenses to reports. Sometimes when you're adding multiple reports it can be confusing to differentiate expenses. Review Source JW James W. The app is easy to use and keeps my expenses organized and easy to submit to my company. Pros It's ease of use is crucial for me, I'm a sales rep constantly on the road so being able to just take a picture of the receipt and the app does the rest is amazing! It also makes generating my expense report for work incredibly simple and easy to submit. It's honestly the best app for expenses that I've used. Cons The only con I can think of is that when I set up the app I set up my settings to auto submit my report daily on accident and I can't figure out how to change that. My company doesn't allow it to auto submit so now I receive an email every day saying the app couldn't auto submit my report. Other than that it's great! Review Source ST Scott T. " October 3, 2025 5.0 I've been very impressed, it is easy to use and has been a better experience than past tools in the space. Pros As a user, there's few bugs, most pictures of reciepts and expenses upload correctly the first time and the expense classifications are about 90% correct. Cons Doesn't take PDF's all the time, some classifications aren't done automatically correctly, and sometimes it takes a while for it to analyze a receipt. Review Source MB Manuel B. The UI combined with the easy to use tools makes my job that much easier. Pros The user interface for me has been fantastic, features are super easy to use, and the receipt scanning option makes logging my expenses incredibly easy. Cons Occasionally I do find that the receipt scanning tool can malfunction and misread a receipt causing me to have to long the information manually however it is a small issue. So easy to use and to submit expenses. I am happy for any business who uses this app for their employees. Pros I really love this program. So easy to submit expenses and get them approved. I do them right away and therefore don't need to carry around paper receipts on work trips. They've also ingested just the right amount of AI to capture details of the expense. Love their Uber integration too. Cons I didn't know I needed to submit expenses for approval. This created a delay in payment once, although it was easy to contact support to get it fixed. I do not have much user experience with the mobile app but the desktop version gets 5 stars. Pros I like that Expensify is intuitive and simple to ease, plus visually easy to look at and follow. I think a kid can even navigate it. Cons I don't like that you run into roadblocks based on preset parameters. When an expense is past 90 days, it won't allow you to submit a report. I use it every month. We all do and we are all happy with it as far as I can tell Pros EASY to use and fairly intuitive. I trust expensify to always keep track of my stuff. We have been using Expensify for more than 6 years. Cons sometimes the UX is a little confusing or redundant, but not terrible. Pros I have used it in two different companies. It is so easy to use. it works great with the Expensify card and automatically puts in expenses paid by the card. Cons That’s tricky as I think it’s excellent! So being picky maybe I don’t need a weekly chase up email reminding me of a pending expense report. They have been double billing me as an individual, and then again for a "group workspace", even though I sent numerous messages through the chat concierge to explain that I am a sole user, don't need a group workspace, and especially don't want to pay twice for the same software.
