Overall experience has been good. The UI needs a lot of improvement. The team should focus on the app from the perspective of a new user and right now for a first time user, its a bit confusing. Also, the app reached through the inbox option should be the face of the app when you log in. Also, the SQL sorting that the app uses is not great as it returns false data.

Pros

It is easier to track expenses and I believe its easy to view and approve the expenses as well. I like the category wise bifurcation. On my laptop, it flows nicely and the legacy version, in my opinion, is more versatile. Payments and reimbursements are better there as you can easily create a report there.

Cons

I would prefer it was also segregated date wise and a subtotal was displaced for each date. Mobile app needs improvement. It could be similar to SmartReceipts app where it is much easier to upload and submit the receipts.

I use Expensify app for work since past 2 years now, and it does a splendid job with expense tracking and reimbursement. Submitting the expenses is quick and straightforward, and receipt scanning feature makes the process easier. Reimbursements are tracked clearly and there's no confusion about whats been submitted or approved. Overall I'd say its a reliable app that takes the hassle out of expense reporting and reimbursals.

Highly recommend Expensify for your personal & business expense management needs. It was a life saver for me for our small business.

Pros

Love the ease of Expensify to help me keep track of all of our employees travel expenses. They could just scan the receipt in and it would categorize it for them.

Cons

There was honestly nothing I didn't like about Expensify. It was very user friendly and loved how it pulled everything together for me.

We've been using it for three years and being reimbursed quickly has pleased staff, especially not having to fill out a bunch paperwork, printing out maps, etc.

Pros

It is a very easy program to learn how to use and it has efficiently helped our agency reimburse staff quickly. For both staff and our finance department, it has helped reduce the amount of paper that is needed to be filled out, turned in and then filed after approval. This has helped us decrease the amount of paperwork boxed up in our storage room as well as help us lessen our ecological footprint lessening the amount of paper and toner used.

Cons

Took a couple of tries to get it right, otherwise there isn't any further cons. Perhaps a video module that does a walk through for new staff.

Easy to use and low cost, just snap a photo and the app does everything else. Took 2 weeks to get into the habit of taking photo of each receipt and then it's like second nature.

Very positive. Expensify has been an amazing addition to the corporate suite of applications, and gives me hope that not all boring tasks need to be boring.

Pros

I really enjoy how seamless the UI of their browser is. Everything is layed out in a very easy to understand, but functional and seamless way. I never struggle to submit expenses, even though I only do a handful times a year, and I have had no prior experience.

Cons

I did initially struggle to figure how to add expenses to a report, it makes more sense in my head to create a report, then be able to add the existing expenses to the report, but instead you need to "send" the expenses to the report. Not too much of an issue, but took a second to figure that out.

Very good. A short learing curve to get familiar with how to use the product. Now tracking finances is so much simpler!

Pros

Super easy to use. Major time saver and keeps my expenses organized. This is the best expense tracking and reimbursement tool I have ever used by far. My workload, stress over receipts, and making sure I am getting reimbursed has all become greatly improved with Expensify.

Cons

I wish I could have more then 2 email addresses linked to my account. I often have to forward invoices and receipts to one of the 2 authorized emails in order to submit something. A couple of times I forgot and sent a receipt directly from an unauthorized account and never got reimbursed because of this.

The more you use it, the easier it became. It would be better with a more simple platform and if the server was quicker.

Pros

It was not as user friendly as other expense report applications and many that used it with the company, had to have extra training to be able to input the basics.

Cons

Difficult to work with for a 1st time user. It was often slow in responding to items that were manually inputted.

This is the best tool which I have used during my almost 20 years in business. Expense management tool is really important for everyone in sales and because of that i am happy that our company has chosen this one.

Pros

Expensify provides great user interface and it is really easy to use. When I submit pictures of receipts Expensify can collect data from receipts really accurately. Also map function for mileage works well.

Cons

Mileage calculator in mobile is not working and I have to submit mileage via computer. It does not matter that much because I would do that anyways.

My organization has solved the problem of late expense reports and have helped create efficiency for employees by utilizing Expensify. I save much more time using the application and never have to worry about late reporting since it is an automatic process.

Pros

I can use Expensify on both my mobile app or desktop and find it extremely easy to upload my receipts to submit to management. The application automatically classifies the transaction and automatically submits it to management for approval. Customer support is readily available, fast, and easy to locate.

Cons

I was trying to generate a report showing the total monthly report amounts and I was only able to generate the report showing each individual transaction. The monthly fee should be waived if the employee has no expenses to submit that month.
