Me and my tram use Expensidy when we go on a business trip. We like a lot because it's super easy to use thanks to their AI integration. Also their mobile app is wonderful. You can upload very fast your expenses.

Pros

I started using Expensidy because the team grew Up and some of them were in need of reporting all the expensas in one place rather than using different tools or miss any expense. I nevera used the customer supoort but their welcomed series email were so cool and helped a lot the first 2 weeks.

Cons

Sometimes when you try to upload a big size file you cannot do it vía mobile (but maybe that's just a problem of my phone)

Great, I recommend it to all who file expense reports. So much easier than saving receipts and using a spreadsheet.

Pros

It's easy to use. I use it for the company credit card. It automatically emails an expense report to accounting on the first of the month. All I do is take a picture of the receipt and write a brief description of the expense. It does the rest.

Cons

You do have to pay for the receipt scan feature, but that only saves a few seconds of typing, so it's not a big deal

Using Expensify both personally and with clients, it feels like a tool that is designed more around usability than complexity. As a user, it makes expense tracking much easier. Expenses are recorded right away, there’s nothing to remember later, and it’s easy to look things up when needed. Over time, it becomes part of a routine rather than a task. When working with clients, the difference is even more noticeable. Instead of repeatedly asking for documents or organizing information manually, data starts coming in naturally as clients use the app. This reduces the amount of back-and-forth and makes communication much simpler. It also works well across different types of clients, regardless of their experience level, which is especially important in a remote setup. People tend to keep using it once they start, and that consistency makes a big difference in maintaining a smooth workflow. Overall, it doesn’t replace bookkeeping, but it does make the entire process more manageable by improving how information is captured and shared. Expensify stabilizes data flow and makes collaboration much easier. Based on my experience, I’d rate it around 4.5 to 4.7 out of 5.

Pros

One of the first things I noticed when using Expensify is how simple it is to keep using consistently. You just take a picture of a receipt, and SmartScan automatically pulls in the amount, date, and vendor, so there’s very little manual input involved. After a while, it doesn’t even feel like you’re managing expenses—it just happens naturally in the background. Forwarding email receipts is also very convenient. Instead of having to upload files manually, everything flows into the system with minimal effort. Being able to review expenses alongside card activity also makes it easier to keep track of spending in a practical way, not just for record-keeping but for day-to-day awareness. From a remote bookkeeper’s perspective, this ease of use becomes even more valuable when working with clients. Even those who are not familiar with accounting tools can start using it without much explanation, and in most cases, they continue using it without needing reminders. Over time, this naturally reduces the need to request receipts or follow up, and the flow of documents becomes much more consistent. Another major advantage is that Expensify can integrate directly with accounting software like QuickBooks. Expenses recorded in Expensify can be synced straight into QuickBooks accounts, which means bookkeepers don’t have to manually re-enter or reformat data. This integration helps create a seamless workflow between clients and bookkeepers and keeps the overall accounting process much smoother. The Expense Report feature is also straightforward. Clients can group their expenses and submit them without overcomplicating the process, which helps maintain consistency. Overall, what stands out most is that the system is simple enough that people actually stick with it.

Cons

From a user standpoint, there aren’t any major frustrations. The simplicity of the system actually works in its favor and helps maintain regular use. That said, the automatically captured details are not always perfectly accurate, so there are times when categories or minor details need to be reviewed or adjusted. From a bookkeeping perspective, this becomes more noticeable, as the data still requires a final review before being fully ready for accounting purposes. Also, since transactions are grouped into Expense Reports, there can be some extra steps when breaking things down for detailed categorization or reconciliation. However, this feels like a reasonable trade-off for keeping the overall experience simple and user-friendly.

On the one hand, as a Billing Specialist, the ability to maintain proper financial records without having to pursue personnel is my priority. I rely on it to have an easy time managing our team and accelerate our monthly reporting. It offers a very automated workflow finance, but the high cost increment is punishing on a small accounting unit.

Pros

The convenience of the day-to-day cost control is simply stunning as our jewelry customers can easily scan the paper bills on international gem trade exhibitions directly through their mobile phones.

Cons

The competitive pricing levels are not very good value money when it comes to a mid-sized boutique, and the customer support is annoyingly slow when we have to deal with unforeseen bugs and problems that slow our month-end closing.

I’ve used multiple expense platforms, and Expensify strikes the best balance between functionality and ease of use. It’s not trying to be everything, which is exactly why it works so well.

Pros

Expensify makes expense tracking fast and painless. SmartScan is incredibly efficient, and the mobile app is intuitive. Submitting reports takes minutes instead of hours. Great for individuals and small teams that don’t want complexity.

Cons

Some edge cases with receipt parsing or categorization need manual adjustment. Reporting customization could be a bit deeper depending on how complex your needs are.

I have used Expensify many times, and it is always a great experience! I just recently started using the report feature to submit multiple reports at once. At first, I was nervous, but the application walked me through it.

Pros

I find that submitting my expense reports is very easy and fast! This would usually be something that I dreaded, but instead, I find it enjoyable!! Thank you!!

Cons

I really can't think of anything I did not like about my experience. It is a great product! Every time I use the application, it exceeds my expectations!

Pros

Expense Management is very smooth and support team is responsive and proactive. They are very quick to report if any document is missing.

Cons

Reporting is one of the topic where it needs little improvement. Overall it looks good but sometimes few fields will be missing in the report.

Pros

Expensify is incredibly easy to use! It is easy to create expense reports and upload pictures of receipts.

Cons

I do not think I disliked anything about Expensify. It is pretty simple to use, I did not have to ask management for help.
