We have used it for a year now and are still trying to get the functionality (reports) we had in our old ERP. I believe the system has a lot of untapped potential and I look forward to being more proficient in building my own reports. Pros The ability to customize and build reports, GIs, and dashboards. The processes are solid and intuitive. Cons The out of box reports are deficient. For example the P&L which should be the most basic ERP report is way too summarized. Should have the option to run summarized or detailed without having to first build an ARM report. Senior Accountant Construction Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Why Acumatica is a great tool for your business" January 27, 2026 5.0 I am in the financing accounting department see your accountant for a large construction company, and really like the ease of abuse I like being able to train our technicians on how to eat the mobile aspect of document in order to record their time. I can work from anywhere with Acumatica cloud ERP and that is really freeing. Pros I like the ease of use, financial reporting is very comprehensive and provides important details at the click of a button. It has various roles of security level so you can really lock down the system to keep confidential information in the right hands. My company just recently wrote out the inventory management tool and are quite happy with what we’ve done so far within the last three months. Cons I haven’t really found anything that I dislike about Acumatica. I think it’s more about the VAR. Our company is going to be looking into directly sourcing with Acumatica support versus using a VAR in the future. Review Source TS Tyler S. Pros What I like most about Acumatica ERP is the flexibility for it to adapt to our changing business needs. We have grown from a single-stream e-commerce business to a multi-channel retail distributor. Acumatica has allowed us to grow and scale with ease. Cons It forced us to rethink our broken business processes to ensure our data integrity. We weren't ready for some of the difficult team conversations this brought up. In the end though we are in a much better place. Pros The low level of skill entry required to get most users off the ground with using the software, while the actual implementation required some skill and expertise the end user can simply log in and use it right away. Cons Nothing comes to mind at this time, there was very little difficulty with Acumatica during the implementation process or during the utilization of the software since go live. This is impotent due to the complexity of the hospitality business. Cons Upgrades with customizations get very expensive. It takes awhile for new aspects to really work. Our finance team and accounting team are the heavy users as well as the contract team, but we’re struggling to have operations seeing the value ad of using Acumatica. It is not his number as it sells itself to be. Pros Financial reporting, and ease of use. Transparency across apartments when it comes to the life cycle of a project from inception/opportunity won to final invoicing. Cons Having to work with a VAR, instead of going directly through the product team. We don’t believe that our VAR really understands fully how we run our of business and how best to support us, especially in the time of release upgrades and new features coming out. Not to many things that I would change. Just Bank Recs. I love the safety of not being able to hit the wrong subsidiaries and keeping the data true. Pros That it can do all the things without having to rely on other softwares. Also the support we have received Cons Bank Reconciliations. We use multiple banks and have multiple bank accounts within those. We don't have it set up to record ach payments and things automatically. There are a ton of low/no code customizations that make it easy to configure so that it works for your environment. Pros The ability to get access to data through GIs and modifying ARM reports. Velixo which is a Acumatica add on is an amazing tool that allows for flexibility on the fly. Cons That any AP Bill has is entered into the system must be tied to a posting period. This has created manual processes to compensate. We can have many approvers that are required to approve and it can take a long time or no time at all. We should be able to decide what period to post the invoices to the GL. Secondly, it's user interface is very easy to understand and does not bore you after extended use. Pros The best I like about Acumatica is it's integration of various modules and how it can be used to find audit trail. Cons It lacks visual appeal and the reports and as far as the pricing is concerned, it does not deliver based the value being charged. Forecasting from the task level makes it too granular, and forecasting from the inventory ID leaves things too general. We would love to be able to forecast from a subtask! Pros The best part about Acumatica is how easily it can be customized, it is flexible, and it is closely integrated with Velixo. Cons If you are not implemented properly with right partner, you will struggle for years. It is also important that you have someone on staff to \[sensitive content hidden\] the change.
