### "Best Ticket Software I Have Ever Used!"

User-friendly, easy to navigate, up to date software, great upgrades, amazing customer service.

Pros

I have used many different ticketing softwares in my career, and Showare is by far the most user friendly...both for our end of things and for our patrons. After moving to Showare, we saw a 50% increase in internet sales, and our patrons actually commented what a great upgrade it was. I also like how quickly I can build shows and get them on sale to the public. Being on constant time restraints, it's nice to have so many quick capabilities. Perhaps the best thing about Showare is the client services team. Any question or issue is resolved incredibly fast. Sometimes we don't even know of an issue, and it's already remedied, and we are made aware ASAP. They take wonderful care of us and listen to all of our questions and ideas.

Cons

When we first decided on Showare, there were a few reports and capabilities that Showare did not perform, that we were used to having. Instead of turning us away, they listened to us and helped us create a new report for our needs. Additionally, there have been things that we thought would be great additions to the system, not only for us, but to other venues as well. A few upgrades later...there they were!

Pros

She has so won the confidence of our team that we, generally, do not speak with anyone else. I'm sure you have a wonderful team there...sorry. :) She's just awesome.

I've thought about this for a while and have not come up with anything worth sharing. We are completely happy with ShoWare.

I believe it was the ability to create "exclusive access" to the sales platform based on the buyers' electronic profile. That is, the buyers had to be signed into a specific secure server before they could access tickets.

ShoWare provides excellent customer service, intuitive products, and would recommend to other organizations looking for ticketing software.

Pros

Love the ability to set up multiple pricing tiers with discounts, promos, etc, the the ability to schedule an automatic price change.

Cons

Once a performance is set up we cannot change the seating map if an incorrect map is used. Also would appreciate more intuitive pricing calculations with customization of applicable taxes, etc.

Overall, it is the staff that retains our account. There are many ticketing platforms out there, many of which are more versatile, however, the staff that is always there to help.

Pros

Hands down, the very best thing about accesso ShoWare is the staff! \[sensitive content hidden\], our account manager, is one of the main reasons we have stayed with ShoWare.

Cons

Software/hardware communication. When printing tickets on the Boca, we have had numerous problems with the \[sensitive content hidden\] communicating with the ticket printer. When it comes to different printing avenues, such as an Epson printer, the "Bar Codes" do not align, and are unable to be scanned into the system. There is a big disconnect in dealing with actual printed tickets. Which, for a vintage property, like our historic theater, is absolutely essential.

It has been positive. We started using it in June of 2018. The quality of the product and support are far beyond what we have used previously.

Pros

I like the stability and high quality customer service. In the last 7 years of using accesso ShoWare we have not encountered an issue with it crashing during large on sales and very minimal downtime overall. Fantastic product.

Cons

My least favorite is the lack of flexibility in the seating charts. You end up having to make multiple charts to use for different performances. This is minor and also a reason why it works as well as it does.

I get calls and emails through the Porter County Fair email from other ticketing companies wanting to show me their ticketing system and I plainly tell them that I am VERY HAPPY with the ticketing company that I have and am not interested in looking, listening to a sales pitch or being contacted by them in the future. I can't imagine ticketing without ShoWare. We know that ALL of our money goes directly into our bank account, usually within 24 hours, and know that everything is completely accurate and the details are at our fingertips.

Pros

I like that we have support that is incredible. All of the managers, from \[sensitive content hidden\]-- they all know the product inside out, are very courteous and more than willing to help me whenever I have a question or need help. I have never experienced a better support staff in any industry.

Cons

The only thing that I could think of that could use a little improvement is a manual that could answer some questions when I venture into unchartered waters. If it had Frequently Asked Questions and maybe even a version of it that would be ShoWare for Dummies. But that is the only improvement that would be helpful to me.

Very pleased with the service and the software. Our staff found it easy to use. Happy with the vast number of reports available. Our Client Success Manager always goes above and beyond.

Easy to adapt to our special ticketing needs without requiring customization. Our staff's favorite feature is the nightly guide.

Cons

Our members find it confusing to add member benefit tickets to their cart online. We would like it if these tickets would show to them when they log in to their ticket account.

ShoWare works well for us to meet our current needs, and delivers a solid product with increasingly evolved technological capabilities. Their support team is exceptional, and plays a huge part in our continued loyalty to their services. This product may not suit all venues, particularly larger venues with more complex/nuanced ticketing needs. However, for a mid-sized venue, it's a great product with a wonderful, helpful, and innovative team who work hard to keep their clients happy.

Pros

ShoWare has excellent customer service representatives who are attentive and responsive. I love that we have a dedicated Client Success Manager who works with us on an ongoing basis and gets to know us and our ticketing structures. This helps expedite solutions when we need to troubleshoot, and also allows us to feel a sense of personal connection to the ShoWare team. The ShoWare team is also very open and flexible when it comes to thinking of out-of-the-box solutions for our pain points. Several times, they have offered to do custom work for us to meet a need. That level of support and service is rare, and I appreciate their collaborative approach to figuring out solutions.

Cons

ShoWare can be limited in some of its features and offerings, particularly with regard to patron data management, tracking demographic data, and complex ticket package structures/show builds. We run into issues with certain types of builds that require more nuance because the system does not have capabilities to address what we need, particularly with our season packages. That said, there have been many new features rolled out in the past several years that have increased system capabilities, such as awesome interactive seating charts and seat chart management and improved show build functionality. It seems that ShoWare is always working to improve and evolve its product (often times with direct client feedback), which is great!

Cons

There is no tool to merge patrons automatically. If I create a patron through my box office and the patron also creates an account online, there are two accounts in the same name. I understand I can manually merge the patrons and I do that. Any way to fix this?

We couldn’t be happier with Showare as a ticketing solution and would absolutely recommend this software.

Pros

We’ve been a Showare client for over 10 years and are still very happy with its ease of use (for both the customer and our team) and incredible flexibility. We’re a non-profit theater and Showare handles our membership, donation, and ticket sales seamlessly. We’ve seen a steady increase in our membership base and donations over the years and know this product directly contributes to this. On top of offering a great ticketing solution, Showare provides outstanding customer service. Our client services manager is constantly providing updates and training on new features, listening to our input, and advocating for product enhancements that would help our venue. He is always available to answer questions or offer creative, out of the box solutions. The customer service truly sets this product apart.

Cons

We're very excited that there is intergration with myemma, but hope that there will be more editing capabilities for scheduled messages soon.

The ability to have access to many back-end features. Ease of use once learned. The many features that have the ability to drive revenue.

Cons

The data entry fields do not auto fill with proper punctuation on the web/back end. ie, capitalized first name, hyphens in phone #'s etc. Not all reports are downloadable. There is not one report that has comprehensive information ( info from patron order address report and ticket buyer report would be helpful)

Pros

The software is easy to use for the patron which is most important. I'm a quick learner so it was easy to learn to system and for me to train volunteers and other members of our team. They've had two updates so far since I've been using it. Updates are always fantastic. I love the advertising possibilities both onsite and confirmation email.

Cons

We sell tickets for different events (promoters), and not necessarily a venue. These promoters have volunteers, which we call committee members, sell tickets on their behalf directly from their mobile phone (cash transactions), if this system had that feature, I will blow my competition out of the water, along with the other features, as the touchscreen only works well for tablets. Some of the reports are only view only and cannot be downloaded.

It is easy to quickly train staff and provide notes within the Box Office tab to guide them with notes for each show.

Pros

I like that it is easy to navigate for myself and the cashiers within the Box Office. The newer features where I can adjust a seat map for a specific show without it affecting the seat maps of other shows using the same seat map is helpful.

Cons

I wish there was a full map seat selection view both within the box office and for the customers to navigate more easily.

We've just finished year two of accesso ShoWare after transitioning from a completely offline ticketing system. accesso ShoWare revolutionized the way we collect information about our guests. It feels like we've only scratched the surface of the amount of detail we can utilize. We are a general admission daily attraction, and so unlike most of accesso ShoWare's usual clientele. In that regard, they have been great at working with us and helping us adapt the system to our needs. They are quick to offer solutions and check up to see how things are going. Any functionality problems we've had have been quickly solved. With that in mind, the ease of use of accesso ShoWare for us as a general admission attraction suffers a bit- the amount of bending and adapting we've had to do to make accesso ShoWare work for our needs has created a steep learning curve for Box Office staff as some of the functionality is not necessarily intuitive for what we do. As with any system that's not custom made, there are functions we would wish for but that's to be expected. We're looking forward to the next year of accesso ShoWare.

We picked up accesso ShoWare to replace our previous, somewhat obsolete, software. We knew in taking the product that it was still a bit young and had room to grow. The fact that it is a growing product is what gives it both pros and cons. There are a lot of nice features already, but there is still room for improvement in terms of reporting, ease of checkout, and fund development. The company welcomes input from its customer base and uses that input to fuel its upgrades. The response from staff to resolve problems is quite good. We look forward to sticking with the company to see where it goes as it seems to always be looking for areas in which to improve.

accesso ShoWare is all web based which gives an advantage many other ticketing providers haven't mastered yet. A robust back-end user interface that's also user friendly makes accesso ShoWare easy to get up and running in very little time. Furthermore, their customer service and support has always been top notch, especially for new users to the system. Even their 24hr support line has been extremely helpful in getting me the answers I need when I need them...NOW! (and you know how that is; on event night when everything is happening at once) You're in good hands when you're working with the accesso ShoWare team.
