Support staff were helpful and documentation was strong. The policy approvals and authorized pickup features are helping our preparations go smoothly and we've had a good experience handling customized situations e.g. camp scholarships. Features keep coming as well, such as camp add-ons available in the parent portal allowing us to sell t-shirts. Cons Reporting at times feels clunky and restrictive - I wish I could create a custom report with the filters and fields I would like. We are very happy with the service and all we can offer our families. Pros Choosing what I like most is hard to narrow down.. So, I will list the things that I do like about Jackrabbit Dance! I really appreciate the quick and effective REAL Person client support team, whenever I have a question or made a mistake in my system they are ready to help. I find the dashboard very easy to navigate and I love all the customization settings for the classes and families/students. The team is always working on making changes & updates to the system to make personalization more available for what each studio needs. The parent portal is easy to navigate and we love the new addition of Appointments - we will be adding private lessons that way soon! Cons I wish that the emailing had widgets for creating newsletters right in Jackrabbit rather than having to create on canva then copy & paste. Or, if the emailing had a way to paste an html to format an email newsletter. We love jackrabbit pay, but I wish there was a way to void a payment when a bank account is used. We love Jackrabbit! I have used other systems and this one is the best. I like that there is also always someone available to help if you get stuck with something and the staff are kind and knowledgeable. Pros Jackrabbit is the most user friendly platform I have ever used in comparison to others and now I can't imagine using anything else. The reports and searchability is unmatched and everything is very easy to personalize. Its easy to sort people and transactions by different criteria which helps with reporting and planning. Cons I sometimes forget to archive older students, so the cost goes up with the more leads you have in the system. I would also love a way to integrate it with go high level to help us track leads v registered students. Hoping to see that down the road. With a fairly complex programming at our studio, Jackrabbit has been the only software that can solve many of our program related hurdles with class management Cons The hard coded filters like gender. We don’t mention gender at our studio, but the word gender is hard coded above every class on the filters. The Inability to tie and schedule fees to classes is a challenging one for us and would be the reason we would ever leave. They are very dedicated to customer satisfaction and it shows in every interaction that I've had with their employees. Pros The continued improvement, additions and updates to the software are what sets-apart Jackrabbit from any other class software. They listen to customer feedback and make adjustments accordingly. Their client support team is AMAZING! Cons They've been through some growing pains lately, which has affected the level of help and customer service we're used to, but it's actively being worked through and they involve their clients in the improvement process for feedback. I love that classes, tuition, productions, staff, payroll, attendance, and now even trainings are all in one place. PLUS the self-check-in ability, and the app! We could NOT be happier! Wouldn't switch unless there was a ver concerning issue. But we've never had any in the past so we will continue to use. Pros Its efficient and very easy to use. Anytime I have any issues or need help the customer service reps do great walk through's. Cons With payment processing if clients use a bank accounts it automatically says it's been accepted and to "check terminal / bank account". I never did this in the past and then noticed most of the bank account's were denied and the money was removed without any notifications to us. I wish JR had something (similar to their card processing) that would let us know when a payment is denied. Alternatives considered [QuickBooks Enterprise](https://www.capterra.com/p/174984/QuickBooks-Enterprise/) Reasons for choosing Jackrabbit Dance Would have used Enrollio. I've only used JR in the past. Enrollio did have a better system of following leads. It is easy to train new staff while continuing to grow our student body. Pros The program is SO user-friendly! I love that you can search classes, families, phone numbers, or email addresses. The buttons are clear, and you can save reports for easy access later down the road! Cons Recital or Performance section doesn't tell you what the student is assigned to. UGH! We do 3 performances and have to use Microsoft Access to organize our recitals/performances. Wish Jackrabbit could just do it so we don't have to export and keep 2 databases up to date. It had great customer support for when I needed the guidance. Now, we use it for our classes and its interface is awesome. Pros Very user-friendly. All the training is provided so it's an easy to use app. it does have everything needed in it, I consider it a "one stop shop" - great use for what it costs. Cons It was difficult to be able to modify different billing details. at first, as a small studio it could be considered expensive for some but not once fully and properly implemented.
