Pros The system has a ton of functionality. Deep data, deep reporting. I really like the dashboard and how I was able to change it around based on my needs at that time. Cons It's not as intuitive as other tools I have used. There are several ways to go into workflows and they don't all lead to each other necessarily. The reporting is deep - but it's not easy to create reports. Once you have things established, it's solid - but getting there is a task. You'd need a full iCIMS administrator to really use the greatness this tool provides. It's more expensive than other tools on the market. Review Source Randy L. Easy to use but frustrating to constantly create new accounts for every new job application at a different company Pros I like how you can connect your Linkedin to sign in to this platform. It speeds up the process to creating an account and fills in the prefills the personal data. Cons Although you can log into Linkedin with this account, I do not like how you must always create a new account for practically every new company that you apply for. I would like just one account that can be used for all companies you apply for. The hassle to create 100 new accounts for 100 job applications is impractical. Pros Allows us to quickly connect with a candidate to schedule, let them know we're running late, or even inquire why they haven't responded to communication. It is easy, on the fly, with a simple click of the phone number right in the software you're working in! TextRecruit can pick up a number in any open Chrome page and start a conversation, but where it shines for us is the integration with ICIMS, our ATS (applicant tracking system). Not only can you individually text, but anywhere you could bulk send emails in the ATS, you can now bulk send texts! March 11, 2019 5.0 It's easy to get your jobs out there to more platforms with all of the recruiting tools iCIMs offers. I have enjoyed my experience overall and I try to continue to learn more. I am by no means a master of the program yet. Pros The software can pretty much do anything you want it to do as you can tailor it to your company's needs. Cons The software is so robust that sometimes it's difficult from a back end stand point to get it to function how you want it to. However, the customer care is very helpful. Pros We have stretched the product in new and bizarre ways to help our clients, and ICIMS keeps up with our weird customization requests. Cons There is a steep learning curve, and the admin tools can be confusing. There are also a number of things that Admins cannot do, that require the help desk. Easy to use and practical " March 18, 2019 5.0 With iCIMS Recruit we can effectively work with the hiring managers no matter where they are. It allows the communication between hiring managers and the talent acquisition team. Pros I really enjoy iCIMS ability to "bucket" and track candidates in an easy view on each jobs openings and the candidates. The ability to create and custom everything in the software tailors to any user in any industry. Cons With so many different things we can change and customize I don't know where to start but the customer help team has always helped quickly and with accuracy, always solving the issue immediately. HR Manager Accounting Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Awesome Mobile; Great Product to Build Around" September 22, 2016 4.5 Pros The mobile portion from the candidate side of things was really exciting - given the social aspect of recruiting, having a mobile-friendly app is a big plus. iCIMS also makes it really easy for hiring managers to be more involved in the process - in many cases, moreso than other products on the market - this translates to more hires, more quickly, and a better ROI. Cons I found that while working with this product at a past employer, there were problems with resume population. While this is commonplace among several softwares, this is really what stuck out here (when a resume was drawn in, the auto-populated fields were consistently misplacing information). Where this became a significant problem, was when candidates/applicants would then have to go through and manually correct and populate/paste their job titles, employer names, dates and work duties into the correct boxes after uploading a resume that was supposed to do this for them. It reflected poorly on us as an employer, and through meeting hundreds of candidates both in/formally, I found that many had abandoned their applications entirely because of this. Pros ICIMS heard that communication can be slow with candidates and they made it happen by partnering with TextRecruit. The integration is seamless and so easy to use! Cons Nothing so far other than wishing the cost for our company needs better so every hiring manager could use this. The reporting is not as malleable as I'd like either.. Pros easy to use, figure out, search jobs/candidates/users within the system. pretty user-friendly. it's nice that you can create a library of forms (you pay per form that's stored in the system), the qualifying/screening question bank and the quicklinks/shortcuts on the left that you should pin - that's a nice feature so you can see who's applied recently regardless of the job Cons we're not getting resumes like we have with other systems - now that we know this, I've heard that it's hit or miss when companies use iCIMS - they either get a lot of resumes (bc it's supposed to post to several job boards for you) or it gets very few. iCIMS can't really help or figure it out either - just luck of the draw if a company will get the postings/resumes like they expect (in other words, ask how to do a test trial to see how many resumes you get for a normal job you post all the time before buying) Aside from that just have to remember to hit the refresh button after updating things and start from the beginning (dashboard) for it to show the updated info. it'll still update but you won't see it without the refresh and going back to the dashboard. January 10, 2018 5.0 Pros What I like most about iCIMS is that their client service is by far some of the best I have ever encountered with a vendor. Anytime you need help their client support line is always available to help out and I have not had to wait longer than 5 minutes or so for an answer over the phone. Additionally, when you open a ticket with them on an issue you are having, they send you email correspondences for every update they have to share, which I appreciate because you are always in the know on how to move forward with issues you are having. Cons What I like least about iCIMS is that their focus is mainly as an applicant tracking system and not a full-service system that includes features like payroll, performance management, succession planning, etc. iCIMS has really mastered being a very reliable applicant tracking system, but they have room to improve moving forward as a full-service provider for companies. Pros we use ultimate software (ultipro) for our actual onboarding process, and icims recruit connects seamlessly to it. We push a candidate through from icims to Upro and there is much less "manual labor" associated. Cons I think it is really geared toward larger companies who want to use it to integrate many other applications. I feel there's a lot of features we aren't using. But that's not really a con. It is easy to run reports on census data, OSHA and EEO reporting. Pros Easy to create job requisitions, post jobs on various job sites and manage candidates who apply. The application can also be customized to add to remove screening questions. Cons It is a good talent management software but does not have other HR modules. There has to be a feed with other systems. The transfer of information takes up to a day to be available and it is not immediate. Many HR systems manage end to end HR functions. Easy for users to adopt. Templates are a huge timesaver for the team. Scheduling and drip messaging is the best, as we work with employees all across the U.S. Cons Sometimes team members have trouble finding someone in the search bar and then have to recreate the user.
