December 5, 2017 4.0 This is a great product. As someone who has experience with several large ATS platforms, there doesn't seem to be a single product that does everything, but this one seems to come the closest by far. Pros I really like that it can be easily customized to suit our needs, and can manage the recruitment pipeline for a wide variety of candidate types and requisitions. It also provides many data points and intuitive reporting capabilities. It has a nice, clean look and feel to the UI. They provide strong customer support whenever there are questions or issues. It integrates seamlessly with many other vendors and HR products. Cons They could make a few improvements. It feels like sometimes there are a few too many "clicks" required to drill down to the info needed. Also, it would be great if they could include a feature to view the "last viewed candidates," or "last viewed requisitions." It would help speed things up when trying to move quickly between multiple candidates and requisitions. You can have the system solve any talent acquisition problem you are having in your own unique way. You are also not stuck once you format the system a certain way, you are always able to change things to fit your changing strategies. Cons Sometimes it is overwhelming with the amount of options you have. It is hard to tell which is the best option. Oftentimes you just have to use trial and error. Cons The android app needs some work. The push notifications still don't work but other than that no complaints. Very strong product with great customer service. Pros I was with an organization where I selected iCIMS Recruit as our first electronic ATS. Very positive experience and lots of features and functions. WE used this for recruiting for multiple locations throughout the US and eventually started onboarding employees with it. Cons Like any other ATS, this takes some working with to get used to. The product is only as good as the info you put into it. Lots of features, so if you want to use reports, etc. spend time inputting things correctly. Now that we are using iCIMS, our processes are much more streamlined and compliant. Pros iCIMS recruit has a very user friendly interface that allows new users to get access and get started right away. Our company has multiple career portals and even with this setup we haven't run into issues with user training. Cons iCIMS provides the service we need, but there are some areas that aren't as customizable as I would like. Perfect for scheduling new hire orientation and other reminders that we send to candidates Cons Our ATS (UltiPro) doesn't fully integrate with the tool. We can export a spreadsheet and text candidates from WITHIN a requisition. However, there is no way to export a spreadsheet when you perform a search. In addition, the reporting to is excellent for retrieving data and tracking metrics. Cons I would like to have the ability to create field alias for displaying on my reports. I find myself having to explain the column headers to report recipients. Also, the ability to create dashboard, give our leadership real time access into the data and metrics they want to see. Pros I like that there's a portal for each role you're hiring for and all of their information is kept in one place. Cons It's hard to find candidates sometimes, and I couldn't read some of their materials if they were an internal hire. The fact that candidates are sorted into the stage they're at in the interview process is confusing. We have also gone paperless in the process. iCIMS has provided us the transparency in the hiring process our Hiring Managers wanted and with the use of Tableau with iCIMS we have been able to produce metrics around our recruiting and onboarding. Pros iCIMS provides the flexibility to set up a system with your organization needs in mind. Custom fields and workflows makes it easy to configure the product to meet specific or unique needs of your business. Cons The Search feature is powerful but is just that - a search feature. I find myself sending in tickets constantly because I am unable how to figure out certain functions on my own. There are a lot of things in the system that just don't make sense. Pros The candidate onboarding experience is greatly enhanced by using ICIMS onboarding. All of our forms are housed on their site and are customizable as needed to ensure compliance with regulations. Easy for candidates to enter their information and return to the site as needed to make modifications. Cons There are no real cons about this product and the onboarding system itself. I wouldn't suggest using unless you have a talent platform that is not working at all for your team. I can't ever seem to figure out why some hires do not populate in reports which is frustrating and can lead to missed new hires. Pros This software is nice to keep all new hires and new hire info in one place. It has a lot of detailed information that is pulled in new hire reports for the on boarding process. Cons The reports are usually inaccurate and lacking info on some new hires. I have found that some new hires are completely not included on the reports and no one seems to know why. It will also send me alerts of new job postings. Uploading my resume was easy and so was filling out the necessary forms. It’s nice that it can be used for internal employees and outside hires simultaneously. It’s pretty easy to filter through jobs as well. It solves so many recruiting problems from us all while allowing us to report on so many different levels. Pros The ease of use and the flexibility to adapt current processes using this system. Cons The way that not all things connect, it could use some help in establishing hierarchies. For example: From a Recruiting Workflow I can get to a Job and then to a Location. I would like to be able to do the reverse and run a Location search and then drill in and see Jobs and then Recruiting Workflows.
