Overall, I am pleased with the software, but since the original company was bought out, the software is not updated and you are encouraged to switch to newer products they provide.

Pros

Data entry is easy. The software does all the calculations and is easy to follow.

Cons

Lack of customization, particularly in reporting.

Overall, I'm happy that I had hands on experience with this application.

Pros

\-It was very useful when we were managing 400-500 tenants under Section 8. Also, the application Happy Software Housing Pro was integrated with PIC System which was very useful to export the file within the application without using HUD website. -Tech Support is one of the best. They always pick up the phone right away and will solve any of your problem.

Cons

Of course, the application has some problems. First of all the price, it's expensive and you have to pay annually to keep the application running. Also, when you buy the application and want to upgrade to the new version, you still have to pay for that. Some features need to be updated for sure because it's painful to use but it's not that critical.

The ability to give our users portals, a software that is already web based, and the ability to focus on a sub section of subsidy.

Pros

I think the portals are most impressive. They have a multitude of options for portals and well as their stock forms in the system. It is web based and allows easy focus on managing housing.

Cons

Not too many negatives to say. It is best to work with PH and S8 with this software. It is not meant to be used to manage some other types of subsidy.

Workflow management and one-stop location for all paperwork were a HUGE benefit to our operation. No more losing documents! No more losing work between employees! So great!

Pros

Organization! With managing so many small tasks and pieces of paperwork, it's easy for things to slip through cracks, especially when moving person to person. Housing Pro makes moving items through the flow so much easier.
