Overall regfox is a solid system. We can create events in several different ways and can run a variety of reports.

Pros

Regfox helps us manage our annual conference of nearly 300 people and our weekly events. Paid events payment processing is fast and easy. Events are easy to set up with a small learning curve.

Cons

Because we're a nonprofit that runs event year- round it would be nice to keep and analyze more information on registrants, for example linking events that a particular registrant has attended and record and link event registrants attending repeated events.

Pros

I like that there is customer support available to help with simple questions that come up.

Cons

I do not like the mobile view and the limitations on customization.

### "Product is great, but Customer Service is better!"

When I needed customer service and requested information, I received a response in a quick and timely manner. Not wanting to type a book, I had over-simplified my question at the start and was given answers that I knew would not work for me or that I had already tried. On my second attempt, I listed more details to my questions and the resulting response from customer service was "let's talk" followed by a link to sign up for times to converse/screen share. Because of some spiritual warfare, minutes before I was to connect with RegFox to answer my questions, the system went down, but \[sensitive content hidden\] was kind enough to send a quick email stating the issue and that she would connect with me when the system was back up and running. Within 10 minutes RegFox was back up and I was connected to \[sensitive content hidden\]. Thankfully she was able to find me the quick solution I needed.

Pros

Customer Service: I had spent a good number of days programming my first registration and utilized several RegFox videos as well as videos made by others in my parent organization about how to do certain specific items within a registration. My eyes were almost crossed with my looking at the actions page and which ones were working as expected and which were not. I encountered a place where I wanted to limit the number of sessions one type of registrant could select. I figured there had to be an easier way than to have to write actions for each of the 5 session options. I did struggle for a few days trying to find out how to connect with a representative from RegFox, until finally my eyes actually focused on the little chat button on the bottom right. Once I spotted that, customer service was wonderful. Even despite the power outage at the time of my call with \[sensitive content hidden\]. There have also been several emails since publishing just asking if things are going well. I was told by my co-worker that the customer service is wonderful and I totally agree. Thank you.

Cons

The actions page is a wonderful tool and it can be very helpful. I especially like the ability to change the order of the actions with a click and drag option. What might be helpful is a way to print or create a document that lists all the actions. Some way to see them as a whole. This may be out there, but I just copied the data and dumped it into a word document to see the group of actions as a whole. It was there that I found I had duplicated several actions.

Reason for choosing RegFox

My parent company has used RegFox for a few years now and our smaller branch was just put under them, so I was not part of the considerations of other products.

### "A top-of-the-line Event platform at the best price in the industry!"

RegFox is more than just an Event Platform. We have also used it to sell collateral content for our events. It seems to be a very solid platform. It's never gone down for me, and customer service is as near as the chat box. You can pay way more money for another Event platform, but you'd be wasting your money. RegFox has it all.

Pros

RegFox is perfect for our Event applications, but the #1 asset in RegFox is it's Customer Service. I recently needed help on a project and their CSR (\[sensitive content hidden\]) went out of her way to help me solve my issue. She sent me customized videos showing, step-by-step where to find and implement the solutions I was looking for. Later, she followed up to see that all was good. Our previous Event platform provider took days sometimes to return an email, and live interaction wasn't even available.

Cons

I do wish it were easier to copy-paste content from other apps without screwing up the formatting. It sometimes takes me an hour just to re-format content. It's also hard to see what you're typing when the copy is white.

Overall, I would say the Regfox software and Regfox customer support is the best I have ever worked with. Hands down. Customer support is always there (weekdays), everyone very polite (and fun), very smart, and they make you feel special, like one of the team. I mean it. It sounds like a commercial, but it's true.

Pros

I run sports classes for kids, and I was able to create registration forms (they call "campaigns") for people to choose classes based on grades, so upon entering a grade, only the grade appropriate classes will show as a choice. Further, I can price each class differently, and I can prorate classes, so someone signing up before the first class will pay full price whereas someone signing up after the first class will pay a prorated lower fee, all done automatically. In truth, the software is thought through so well, so cleverly, that I have not found anything I cannot do if I want. It's really a blank slate restricted by my creativity and ability to think logically. If I wanted to, I can even prevent individuals from registering while other can register if I want. It's really amazing software, that I am still coming to understand and it does pretty much everything I want, and I am not an easy customer to please.

Cons

One con is that sometimes the software can be labor intensive, meaning it takes a lot of work to design certain complex tasks, something I suspect most people will NOT have to worry about. Second, and it's not exactly a "con" of the software, but what one needs to be aware of is that to make this software really "sing" for you, it really helps to like to think about logic a little. It's built for everyone, so everyone can use it to some degree, but not everyone will be able to do anything. But that's where the tech support comes in and they can help.

The group I am promoting our events to are not at all technologically savvy. B,y using RegFox, it is so easily for most of the group to register themselves without me having to walk them through step by step.

Pros

I cannot say enough about the positive support from the RegFox team. They are have been above incredible and one of the best I have ever encountered on a professional level. I was so overwhelmed thinking about the events I am overseeing as there are many pieces to it. The RegFox team has helped so much to alleviate the stress and so responsive to any question or inquiry I have. While everyone I have talked to has been amazing, I must give a special thanks to \[sensitive content hidden\] who I have worked with the most for her patience and expertise in helping me navigate the system.

Cons

I find the reporting system to be a little confusing but, as usual, the team has helped with that.

### "Effective Platform & Excellent Customer Service"

Overall, the system was easy to understand, and implement, but the lack of 24/7 customer service can be harmful to those events that are held on weekends. Additionally, for large institutions, set up and communication between representatives at RegFox can be somewhat slower than expected, which can present a challenge when you're on a tight deadline. However, the customer service (does not include the rep) during the week is phenomenal-- they are knowledgeable and speedy. The platform, once you get used to it, is easy to understand, but some of the conditional triggers are a bit clunky and hard to understand if you're not familiar with these types of systems.

Pros

Amazing customer service through the chat-- I had multiple situations where I needed fast answers, and the customer service team was knowledgeable, prompt, and accurate. The system is fairly easy to use if you're tech savvy, but if you're not, it might take a little bit of time. Otherwise, the system is straightforward and dynamic, offering a variety of options to suit everyone's needs. They are one of the few, if not the only one, that offers the ability to offer signable, verifiable waivers (instead of a terms of service checkbox). For registration, getting devices connected is super simple. Excellent product!

Cons

Some of the reps take a little bit more time than I'd like to respond to emails and queries. They have only one team member to specific departments, which means some processes for institutions may take a little bit longer (but if you're not in a rush, that's not a deal breaker).

AMAZING. INCREDIBLE. Nothing short of SUPERB. I must say that I do NOT use these words lightly. The nature of my work lends to a very realistic and grounded personality and approach to things. To reiterate, the support team I have interacted with so far, both \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] were FANTASTIC!!! I would recommend RegFox without any hesitation whatsoever.

Pros

Product Itself: As a first time user of registration platforms, this program is incredibly intuitive and relatively easy to use. I use the term 'relatively' since there is a logic based action feature that requires a systematic approach as you set the actions. When you're first using the system it takes a try or two to understand how it works. The logic statements make sense however, and are very easy to set into actions once you get the hang of it - getting the hang of it took me about 20 minutes at the most. Again, a wonderful program overall with easy setup and configuration with wonderful product support. Support Team: I cannot say enough about how incredible product support is with this platform. My needs were immediate, with plans to open registration in three days for an event that had two streams with multiple days and options to choose from. As a personal initiative I was setting this all up - I'm a surgeon with no event planning experience requiring registration etc. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - helping on the back end to correct action conflicts, touching base with their colleagues to see if there was an even better way of accomplishing the desired action, patient, thorough, helpful beyond anything I could have expected. I was able to open registration in time and with confidence that all was in reliably working order, all thanks to their wonderful support. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Nothing comes to mind. Where I was unsure, the support team was available and extremely helpful.

### "Great Potential but Misses the Mark"

RegFox has been a valuable resource in our event management, at a lower price than many of its competitors.

Pros

Lots of options and functionality for creating eye-catching registration landing pages and managing registrants, both for in-person and virtual events. There's even conditional logic! They thought about almost everything, and they keep adding functionality.

Cons

Their greatest strength (lots of functionality and creative options, including for virtual events) is also their greatest weakness. in their zeal for adding new functionality comes the "Jack of all trades, master of none" scenario. They do a lot of things, but they do very few of them very well. I'm often finding gaps, glaring omissions, or just plain buggy behavior in what they provide. Their API integration with Salesforce (through Zapier) is also one of the worst, with even Zapier not being able to validate their app. Instead of taking the time to do things excellently and well, they continue to push through new (half-baked and underdeveloped) options and functionality instead of spending that time fixing and enhancing what they have already built so that it performs optimally. I would much rather have five options that I can count on 100% of the time than fifty options that disappoint me 60% of the time.

Customer service during pandemic unfortunately drove us away. While every business we interacted with gave us full refunds for event-related cancellations made at the start of the pandemic (spring 2020), RegFox was the one exception. As a NPO, we decided it was our responsibility to support our community during such troubling times, by providing full participant refunds on events we had to cancel. RegFox refused to refund fees we had paid them on the registrations that had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, thus positioning our organization in a net-loss. Months later, we were contacted by \[sensitive content hidden\], and told to book a call; “we want to hear from you; what can we do to make this right and get you back as a customer?” Optimistic about their outreach, we explained our situation again and communicated that our only request was for the registration “admin” fees be refunded to us, and they declined. As a result, we have found other lower cost registration options that do not cost a per-registration fee.

Pros

It is easy to manage multiple events, with landing pages, easily-customizable registration forms, and communications

Cons

Sub-par customer service that over-promised and under-delivered.

I run an in-person event every year. Other companies have come around trying to make us switch to their platform. That's great and all, but then when I put the costs and fees in a spreadsheet, RegFox beats them every time.

Cons

The registration forms aren't very flashy.

We have been using the regfox software for roughly 14 months now and the Webconnex team have been exceptional in every aspect..... The Webconnex team are always pushing the boundaries to improve the software based on the most important feature the customer. I not only recommend Webconnex to my colleagues in the industry but make a point to refer then as they have changed our whole online registration process resulting in a huge growth in our online revenue and as a tennis club/camp operator that allows us to spend more time on the court while still taking care of our customers 24/7.

Pros

1.The access to the webconnex team 2. The simplicity and exceptional functionality of the software 3.The flexibility to customize the registrations to our needs 4.First class look and professional templates 5.It is very reliable.... this is a big point of contention with software that is out there as alot of similar products are unreliable and do not have the support staff when problems arise and that hurts your reputation and not theirs. 6. the new social media share 7.Most of all the continuos upgrades to the software making it better each and every day and the teams willingness to listen to their customers on areas of improvement.

Cons

I would like folders on the new platform like the old one to assist with organization. I know this feature is coming but would be nice to have today.

I'm very impressed with the easy of building professional solutions. RegFox makes me look more skilled than I am! The ability and responsiveness of the support team is mind-blowing. They respond quickly, clearly, and accurately - the best support team I've ever encountered. (I was an IT manager for 40 years, so that's saying something!) Bravo! I hope you are able to keep the small company personal service as you grow.

Pros

RegFox hits the mark for our music retreat. RegFox provides a great balance of ease of implementation, yet powerful features. And the low cost makes this uniquely suited to the needs of non-profit organizations like ours. Building RegFox pages makes me smile - over and over it surprises me how well it handles tricky corner cases.

Cons

There are lots opportunities to expand the set of elements for building pages. There are lots of opportunities to expand on Action rule options. But what's there now is impressive -especially at the current price. It would be great to provide a sampler library of implementations to get other ideas how to best implement more sophisticated solutions. It would be great to have examples how to use html to further customize solutions.

Reason for choosing RegFox

I first saw RegFox used successfully by a peer organization. When I asked, they gave RegFox two thumbs up! The low price point made it the only viable commercial option for us.

I really thought we had a valuable product until we tried to implement SSO. The documentation doesn't work. When you engage with the customer support team, they are nonresponsive and point the finger at our developers and OKTA. Upon request to meet we were told to read the documentation.

Other than the payment system issues (WePay), RegFox has been incredible.

Pros

RegFox is hands down the best event registration system out there. It's incredibly user friendly both for those designing the registration and the end user. We love how easily it can be customized to fit all of our registration needs.

Cons

The payment management system which is a third party software is cumbersome and hard to work with. We wish that RegFox simply had their own payment system.

### "A Robust From Builder"

Overall, RegFox is great for those who have an in-depth knowledge of form building and want the ability to customize forms. With some light training and practice with the platform, it can be a great tool in anyone's line-up for forms. JotForm also has a great and easy payment setup for collecting payments during forms, while even allowing for partial payments now and charging again later. The backend process is also very seamless and easy to use.

Pros

I really liked the customizability of RegFox and it's in-depth, robust framework of customizing forms. The conditional logic building on the form is very customizable.

Cons

I didn't like that it was as user-friendly as I'd hoped. It can be a bit cumbersome to someone new at form building.

### "It’s for more than just meeting registrations!"

Pros

I had used RegFox in the past for meeting/event registrations and loved it’s ease of use. When I changed jobs and they were looking for a way to register students online for courses that used to happen in person pre-Covid I know this would be the solution. It is so easy to use and you can use it for so many different things. I was able to easily adapt it for our needs. I built a page with our courses and available slots and could even set passwords to stagger signups by specific groups. This has save our organization a ton of hours and money. Post-Covid we are still using it because everyone loves it so much!

Cons

Pages lengths are limited and you don’t know it until you try and save it. I spent a ton of time building our page only to find out it was too long and could save it. It should have a character/space countdown to show you.p what you have remaining on a page.

Tried everything else . . . finally found RegFox! It's the best product for our nonprofit learning center's registration needs. The customer support is wonderful too!

Pros

RegFox does almost everything we need it to, at a price dramatically lower than its competitors and with a beautiful, intuitive interface that's great for our administrators and our customers.

Cons

I wish I could set up automatic payment plans and partial billing.

Robust, scalable event management software that is good for marketers and event planners. Has the event-specific functionality you want to manage large and small events.

Pros

RegFox allows you to manage event of all sizes, from dozens to thousands (and we've done both!). The registration process is intuitive, with features that capture the nuances of event sales, such as one person paying for multiple registrants, and the ability to sell tickets at various price points. The check-in and nametag printing features make management at the event easy. The analytics help you understand which registration pages and campaigns are converting well.

Cons

I wish it had more robust analytics and ways to aggregate across multiple events. I wanted to get a picture of our overall sales, and I had to export data from each event individually in order to so. Richer Zapier integration would be helpful as well.

### "Amazing Platform"

This platform was previously used for smaller events but they knocked it out of the park for our event with well over 500 attendees.

Pros

I used this software for a large scale expo with my company and everything went amazing. The software is so easy to use and the staff is beyond helpful and supportive. I would partner with them any time, any day.

Cons

Nothing. I loved everything about this platform. New upgrades are happening regularly which make the product better and better.
