Overall, the experience has been good so far. I'm working with the RegFox Help Desk folks to create a landing page for a series of events so that we can keep individual events separate for reporting needs, but together in one location for our customers who may be looking for an event in Atlanta while another customer is looking for the San Francisco event.

Pros

One of my favorite options is the back-end automation feature where we can pre-schedule registration confirmations, reminders, and thank you emails. Our department is very busy and to be able to set these up in advance is super helpful so that the communication, which is required, is going to go out without have to go back and handle that work manually and in another software program. I do really like the customization of registration pages; this allows me to collect the info. that I need for my specific programming up front, and not have to follow-up with each customer to secure that info.

Cons

The customization is a good option, but there is a con to it as well. Building templates for our organization to ensure that each program has the same basic requirements seems to be a challenge since each department uses the platform a little bit differently. For me, it's imperative that I include a Q & A section during registration so that I do not have to track down that information later using emails or surveys. This piece is not needed for other events, so we're working on those templates to be better defined for the type of work each team does.

The event registration setup is very adaptable. The people have been great to work with when questions come up.

Pros

The ability to customize the registration process is so beneficial for a successful event.

Cons

Scanning process does not work for our meeting requirements and almost a deal breaker. Trying to work with the program and helping to get it resolved.

Pros

Ease to get started selling tickets. Apart from that there is nothing normal or useful in this platform

Cons

Everything else - especially the attendee app that has been in beta for over 2 years and causing a crazy amount of headaches. The system also cannot generate an proper invoice for attendees.

The group I am promoting our events to are not at all technologically savvy. B,y using RegFox, it is so easily for most of the group to register themselves without me having to walk them through step by step.

Pros

I cannot say enough about the positive support from the RegFox team. They are have been above incredible and one of the best I have ever encountered on a professional level. I was so overwhelmed thinking about the events I am overseeing as there are many pieces to it. The RegFox team has helped so much to alleviate the stress and so responsive to any question or inquiry I have. While everyone I have talked to has been amazing, I must give a special thanks to \[sensitive content hidden\] who I have worked with the most for her patience and expertise in helping me navigate the system.

Cons

I find the reporting system to be a little confusing but, as usual, the team has helped with that.

AMAZING. INCREDIBLE. Nothing short of SUPERB. I must say that I do NOT use these words lightly. The nature of my work lends to a very realistic and grounded personality and approach to things. To reiterate, the support team I have interacted with so far, both \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] were FANTASTIC!!! I would recommend RegFox without any hesitation whatsoever.

Pros

Product Itself: As a first time user of registration platforms, this program is incredibly intuitive and relatively easy to use. I use the term 'relatively' since there is a logic based action feature that requires a systematic approach as you set the actions. When you're first using the system it takes a try or two to understand how it works. The logic statements make sense however, and are very easy to set into actions once you get the hang of it - getting the hang of it took me about 20 minutes at the most. Again, a wonderful program overall with easy setup and configuration with wonderful product support. Support Team: I cannot say enough about how incredible product support is with this platform. My needs were immediate, with plans to open registration in three days for an event that had two streams with multiple days and options to choose from. As a personal initiative I was setting this all up - I'm a surgeon with no event planning experience requiring registration etc. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - helping on the back end to correct action conflicts, touching base with their colleagues to see if there was an even better way of accomplishing the desired action, patient, thorough, helpful beyond anything I could have expected. I was able to open registration in time and with confidence that all was in reliably working order, all thanks to their wonderful support. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. Where I was unsure, the support team was available and extremely helpful.

I've used for small events of 30 to large events of over 200 and the ease of use is very appealing, as is being able to pick what content you want on RegFox or just using as a registration tool / payment gateway.

Pros

Pricing is ideal for any size event. Our event had 24 price points - member/nonmember, group rate, early bird, general and late. RegFox customer support spent time with me on a screen share and set things up with ACTIONS so all of our price points we set automatically in the system depending how many people were registered at the same time. This saved countless hours of manually setting things up, manually registering teams, etc., in our own CRM that event management isn't as robust. Ease of just including the info we wanted and having a link to create a button on our website to direct to register and pay. Integrated well with our virtual platform Whova.

Cons

There isn't really any cons to using RegFox. We've been very happy with both the admin aspect and registrant end of things.

Great! It is an extremely helpful program that is fairly easy to follow and trouble shoot if needed.

Pros

Easy to use and if any issues do arise, customer support is extremely helpful!

Cons

Sometimes it's a bit harder to get some issues fixed if I'm not the administrator on the account. Because I work for Drake Ventures and they are the administrators on the account we use. But the customer support is at least about to get me the information I will need to resolve whatever issue I am having. Its just the extra steps involved is a bit inconvenient.

Pros

It's easy to use and support is outstanding!!

Cons

Some of the menus could use some clarity, as they are not all intuitive and I had to use the excellent human support to set up my formats.

When I needed customer service and requested information, I received a response in a quick and timely manner. Not wanting to type a book, I had over-simplified my question at the start and was given answers that I knew would not work for me or that I had already tried. On my second attempt, I listed more details to my questions and the resulting response from customer service was "let's talk" followed by a link to sign up for times to converse/screen share. Because of some spiritual warfare, minutes before I was to connect with RegFox to answer my questions, the system went down, but \[sensitive content hidden\] was kind enough to send a quick email stating the issue and that she would connect with me when the system was back up and running. Within 10 minutes RegFox was back up and I was connected to \[sensitive content hidden\]. Thankfully she was able to find me the quick solution I needed.

Pros

Customer Service: I had spent a good number of days programming my first registration and utilized several RegFox videos as well as videos made by others in my parent organization about how to do certain specific items within a registration. My eyes were almost crossed with my looking at the actions page and which ones were working as expected and which were not. I encountered a place where I wanted to limit the number of sessions one type of registrant could select. I figured there had to be an easier way than to have to write actions for each of the 5 session options. I did struggle for a few days trying to find out how to connect with a representative from RegFox, until finally my eyes actually focused on the little chat button on the bottom right. Once I spotted that, customer service was wonderful. Even despite the power outage at the time of my call with \[sensitive content hidden\]. There have also been several emails since publishing just asking if things are going well. I was told by my co-worker that the customer service is wonderful and I totally agree. Thank you.

Cons

The actions page is a wonderful tool and it can be very helpful. I especially like the ability to change the order of the actions with a click and drag option. What might be helpful is a way to print or create a document that lists all the actions. Some way to see them as a whole. This may be out there, but I just copied the data and dumped it into a word document to see the group of actions as a whole. It was there that I found I had duplicated several actions.

My parent company has used RegFox for a few years now and our smaller branch was just put under them, so I was not part of the considerations of other products.

### "Great Potential but Misses the Mark"

RegFox has been a valuable resource in our event management, at a lower price than many of its competitors.

Pros

Lots of options and functionality for creating eye-catching registration landing pages and managing registrants, both for in-person and virtual events. There's even conditional logic! They thought about almost everything, and they keep adding functionality.

Cons

Their greatest strength (lots of functionality and creative options, including for virtual events) is also their greatest weakness. in their zeal for adding new functionality comes the "Jack of all trades, master of none" scenario. They do a lot of things, but they do very few of them very well. I'm often finding gaps, glaring omissions, or just plain buggy behavior in what they provide. Their API integration with Salesforce (through Zapier) is also one of the worst, with even Zapier not being able to validate their app. Instead of taking the time to do things excellently and well, they continue to push through new (half-baked and underdeveloped) options and functionality instead of spending that time fixing and enhancing what they have already built so that it performs optimally. I would much rather have five options that I can count on 100% of the time than fifty options that disappoint me 60% of the time.

We have been using the regfox software for roughly 14 months now and the Webconnex team have been exceptional in every aspect..... The Webconnex team are always pushing the boundaries to improve the software based on the most important feature the customer. I not only recommend Webconnex to my colleagues in the industry but make a point to refer then as they have changed our whole online registration process resulting in a huge growth in our online revenue and as a tennis club/camp operator that allows us to spend more time on the court while still taking care of our customers 24/7.

Pros

1.The access to the webconnex team 2. The simplicity and exceptional functionality of the software 3.The flexibility to customize the registrations to our needs 4.First class look and professional templates 5.It is very reliable.... this is a big point of contention with software that is out there as alot of similar products are unreliable and do not have the support staff when problems arise and that hurts your reputation and not theirs. 6. the new social media share 7.Most of all the continuos upgrades to the software making it better each and every day and the teams willingness to listen to their customers on areas of improvement.

Cons

I would like folders on the new platform like the old one to assist with organization. I know this feature is coming but would be nice to have today.

Pros

I used this software for a large scale expo with my company and everything went amazing. The software is so easy to use and the staff is beyond helpful and supportive. I would partner with them any time, any day.

Nothing. I loved everything about this platform. New upgrades are happening regularly which make the product better and better.

I have had a great experience so far and when I run into issues I use the chat and get me answer very quickly! Today, I had a deadline to register a foreign group and ran into issues so Kris and Kerri took care of me immediately! I appreciate and thank you both!

Pros

User friendly and it has more features than the previous system (CVENT RegOnline) has! AMAZING!!!!!!

Cons

It would be absolutely wonderful if the system could generate invoices for our participants that are in the federal, state and local entities as there is a procedure that we have to follow to document payments for accountability. Please, Please, Please look into this feature as we are and will be using this system heavily for the next year because of our circumstances with COVID.

Reason for choosing RegFox

Purchase by management but I heard good things about this system prior to acquiring this system.

What I like most about this software is its reliability. It is really dependable and brings your work efficiency by helping you keep track of your meetings, event registrations, etc. I enjoy using it and find it helpful for my work.

I wish it was more accessible money-wise for different groups and sectors, as that might have really helped with making the software more competitive in the market.

Branding made easy. It's easy to learn to customize and great service team will jump in to help when you ask for it.

Cons

I can't remember. we found easy ways to work around what we needed. it's a user friendly system - I suspect, it was designed by or with a variety of event organizers that asked for many functions. And I've noticed over the years you've improved the functions - so you're still connecting to your customers and our r needs as we evolve. THANK YOU!

I run a small floral and event design business. I offer professional workshops. They are small, so I cannot afford large platforms. In the past I've used eventbrite or brown paper tickets, but they weren't a great fit, and were pretty costly. RegFox has been a welcome solution!

Pros

I LOVE everything about this program that I have used so far. It is user friendly, cost effective, highly customizable, and there are tons of options. I've not had too many issues - and mostly they were my own duncitudes - but the customer support team is \*right there\*, super thorough, very friendly. I love the options for data collection from registrants and all the automated follow ups.

Cons

I honestly have not found anything I didn't like, and no one is paying me to say this!! haha!

Reason for choosing RegFox

I was referred to RegFox by an experienced friend after trying other programs like EventBrite, Brown Paper Tickets, and my own CRM Honeybooks. I went straight to her recommendation and am glad I did!
