This is a very good, user-friendly and affordable product that has great value for the cost and good customer support. The software continues to improve and be updated per what we were promised. This is our 3rd. software in 3 years and is by far the best and a keeper.

Pros

\-Very user-friendly -Exceptionally customizeable -Good customer service -Levels for types of users helps to make it easier to train on (there is not a lot of extra stuff that makes it confusing) -Interfaces well with our pharmacy's software.

Cons

\-The customization process can feel daunting but is worth investing time into. -Would be nice to have some sort of apartment tracking module (future update I'm sure : ).

ECP has served us well over the years. We have a close relationship with them and can discuss our needs at the time.

Pros

Personalized service and willingness to help create items/processes for our company. Someone always calls us to make sure we are satisfied.

Cons

Sometimes things are talked about and promised but not completed for a extended period of time. They are willing to talk about it but the issue can be on both ends at any time.

overall experience is a nine point five out of ten, the support team was great and replied immediately after getting a service call.

Pros

I do like how you can record multiple aspects of the everyday tasks that we are beholding to as staff.

Cons

the one thing I do not like is that we are not able to print out a completely blank MAR, with no consumer information. and that you are unable to link a resident to the pharmacy unless it is done at time of adding "New Resident. and that you cannot reactive a resident on the same day they were discharged.

Overall, a great experience. We have been using ECP for 10+ years and have been exceptionally satisfied with their software and customer service.

Pros

ECP is very user friendly. My teams rarely have issues with the system and when an issue does occur, the ECP customer service people are there to help. We use all aspects of the system, from eMAR to incident reporting. We have our own assessment tool in the system, as well as our own supporting assessments and evaluations. Overall, a great product.

Cons

I’d like to see AI capability, i.e, predictive risk concerns with residents based on documentation and incident reporting.

Overall I have had a great experience with ECP, \[sensitive content hidden\] the lady we worked with to set everything up was phenomenal and very helpful!

Pros

Ease of use, great customer service, easy to train new employees on how to use the program. As the person who entered most of the residents into our system, that was also really an easy process as well.

Cons

The med passing system is a little bit more difficult to use than our previous program. The 2-steps for reordering meds, I wish there was way to turn that off, as well as the need to check in new meds/scripts into the system before they can be passed.

Very positive experience from the beginning. Great support. Does interface with our pharmacy which is why we switched in the first place.

Pros

Overall a great EMR. Ease of uploading and the ability to keep everything in one place. The ECP support is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend to any assisted living or SNF.

Cons

Setting alerts for staff notifications seems to be more difficult than it should be and there is no way to alert us if someone doesn't have a BM for 48 hrs.

Ease of use. Great support, always quick and friendly and always have an answer to my questions. The staff is extremely knowledgeable.

I would like to change the time out greater than two hours or not to have a time out at all unless I log out.

It’s been great! We couldn’t have chosen a better system for our needs. Our staff find it very easy to learn and use.

Pros

Ease of use for my staff! The support staff are also very responsive. We have never had to wait more than a day or two for an answer.

Cons

Our only involves not being able to save certain documents and go back to them later. We waste a lot of time reentering assessments.

Overall, it has been working well. Customer service has been very helpful every time I've needed them.

Pros

No more paper, it is mostly user friendly. Has definitely saved money with printing monthly MARS and TARS. I'm still figuring out the difference between task and treatment

Cons

I wish the medications would flag a different way when due. Not all pop up at once and color coded differently. It is not easy to edit an assessment; it creates a whole new one and I find it time consuming when I get pulled away and come back to it and can't just jump back in, I have to start a new one.

Overall we are happy with the functionality of ECP being integrated within our company. It is user friendly, which enables are staff to document effectively.

Pros

The functionality when documenting medication and residential daily tasks. The ability to have one place for resident information is very valuable. We utilize the ability to pull reports for agencies that are requesting. When I have had to call customer service in the past, my concerns are addressed and answered promptly.

Cons

We have tried to implement ECP with our Microsoft 365 and it has been difficult and at this time even stalled out in the process. We would like to be able to track the data from ECP efficiently and in real time. We have had concerns with medications not being pushed through from the pharmacy. This continues to be a concern between ECP and our pharmacy. This has impacted our residential care.

It's been very positive. They took time to train me and other billers. They're always quick to answer my questions and tailer the software to our needs. When there is a bug, they fix it. When I need help, they're available.

Pros

Customer support - they always help me in a timely manner and tailer to my billing needs. Reporting - saves tons of time in booking revenue. Scheduling - I'm able to meet my deadlines for billing purposes.

Cons

I wish it was able to fill out billing forms like the CMS 1500. Similar products on the market do. Hoping this is an upgrade that will come soon!

I don’t like that when you update a care plan it does not time stamp it. I find it cumbersome to have to do an assessment every time the care plan.

They deserve a Gold Star

Pros

Price (Smile) it is more oriented toward "Client Care" and ease of use compared to some systems that are Accounting, or Billing oriented. We started with MARS which out pharmacy "Populated" most of the program for us, Then it took about a week for caregivers to begin doing "Incident Reports" nest we began the "Observations" which are the care notes and Change of Conditions . ECP just "Sucks you in" and makes it very easy and fun to do documentation. And just as you begin to think I wish they addressed an idea I found it had been addressed and better than I had in mind. These programmers are familiar with caregiving. The support help have been awsome, smart, polite, knowledgeable, do not beat around the bush they know what I am asking and have direct, correct answers

Cons

Language and defenitions . What I am calling something is not what ECP calls it, but when I mentioned it they did have good answers and I think they did great at reaching universally acceptible terms, I learned to call "Notes" and COC "Observations".

Reason for choosing ECP

Simple easy logical. I had considered writing my own management program (I have dont this before in the insurance agency business) When I saw the price and the depth that ECP had included, there was no way I could do a better job, and they had approached the project from a "Business Management Client centered" care approach. I liked what they had done

Wo Derulo experience from incident reporting to being able to make work orders is extremely helpful.

Pros

One of the most important reasons I like this software is the ease of reporting on our residents forthe team to see in real time.

Cons

The only thing I dislike about the software is the times of scheduled trainings and not having accessibility to watch the trainings after the class is done. I am an overnight worker and I love to learn, but am not able to participate because it is during sleeping hours for me.

We have been using ECP for 8 years now. I have been approached by other companies to look at their product, but there are little things ECP has that others don't.

Pros

This software has all we need right at our finger tips. Especially for medpassers in a CBRF. They are not nurses so the picture of meds, the uses, the ability to look at the drug use. The fact that as an Administrator of the business I can go back and look at alot of different reports that are important to me. The ease of charting is so helpful otherwise it doesn't get done to my specifications. I also like the fact that our pharmacy is directly linked to ECP.I feel it is very easy to use, even for a person who is not a computer person.Customer service is awesome.

I am not sure I have "least" remark about the software.

We use ECP for our eMAR, care plans, psych meds, charting, and a host of other items. Their program is user friendly and customer support is outstanding. The support team walk me through anything I do not understand.

Cons

I would like to see a 'search' option for training. I sometimes spend 10 minutes or more looking for something. I would like to be able to enter a word and options show.

All resident information and medications in on place is very helpful. Being able to access ECP when not in the building (on-call etc.) is extremely beneficial. I like having contact information in there as well. If there was a way to indicate when a resident is on home health vs hospice that would be helpful

Pros

All documentation for all residents easily accessible.

Cons

Some features are not as user friendly as I would like. The Behavior Management Plan has to be typed into both locations on the form. The Questions work around is better than initially set up, but if you have to edit an existing question it has to be deleted and reentered as a new item so a little cumbersome there. Also have to type in the questions again so that is 3 times entering the information. Streamlining that would be helpful.

Love doing documentation and meds on computer, hate that there is so much more I could be using if I just was trained more on how to use ALL that is available.

Seems easy to use once you are trained on a topic

Cons

No personal training, on-site training. Although help line always pleasant and helpful need some one to one personal training to get full use of the system. Can't solve everything on a 20 minute phone call
