My experience with Stamps.com has been mixed. For personal use or a small home-based operation, it's a convenient way to buy and print postage without standing in line at the post office. However, I would hesitate to recommend it for businesses shipping at scale. As order volume grows, inefficiencies in the workflow become more noticeable, and there are better solutions available for companies that need robust shipping capabilities. Overall, it works reasonably well, but its limitations become apparent as your needs expand.

Pros

Stamps.com makes it easy to print postage from home and avoids trips to the post office. The interface is relatively straightforward for basic shipping needs, and the pricing is reasonable enough for individuals or very small businesses. If you're mailing a moderate amount of packages or letters, it gets the job done.

Cons

The platform becomes inefficient as shipping volume increases. Batch processing, workflow management, and scaling operations feel clunky compared to more modern shipping solutions. I most appreciate the consistent customer service experience and the clear communication and follow up from the Customer Support Team.

Pros

Hands down, I love the responsive, consistent and friendly customer service support from Stamps.com. If I have issues, they usually get resolved in a timely manner.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the new layout, look and feel. I much prefer the previous layout, but I've been adjusting.

It was easy to get set up and easy to cancel, but the remainder of the product was not very worth while in the long run. Would not recommend.

Pros

I didn’t like very much. The interface was difficult to maneuver and the individual stamp sheets were extremely bulky.

Cons

The interface, the mailing sheets, most importantly the price. It was very, very expensive to use and though they promoted that you would save money we would have actually been over budget.

Experience has been great, highly recommend considering making the switch to Stamps.com from some of the other postage companies that require long contracts and big and bulky postage meters.

Pros

User friendly, easy to use, makes mailing documents and shipping packages of all sizes convenient, easy and fast. It has helped to improve our Firm's efficiency in shipping while we are saving money. We have considered other services and this platform is above all others.

Cons

It can be clunky when creating a new label and there are saved addresses that are similar but different. Since we ship a lot to the IRS and Government Agencies, sometimes it it the same PO Box but just a slightly different zip code.

Overall, this website is great. We order postage from there and I love that they have a lot of other features and services to offer. You can print postage directly onto documents/boxes/packages which is awesome and their prices are very good!

Pros

Stamps.com offers GREAT pricing. We use them frequently for business and we have had no issues with them. We got a large quantity of stamps at a really valuable price and were very excited about that.

Cons

So far, there are no cons with Stamps.com and we have had no issues previously! I think they sometimes can be overpriced with certain things but that's not always a huge deal.

Pretty good, although it could have had more features.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use. Everything is very intuitive.

Cons

Can probably have more functions, like notifications to both sender and recipient. Would also have been nice to be able to link to McKesson Enterprise pharmacy system so we don't have to change the address in both systems. Also wished that it integrated FedEx as well.

poor - I can't control my account because of the bug that won't allow me to be an administrator. Many hours on the phone with tech support and they cannot change me back to an administrator nor explain whey I got switched to a user.

Pros

The option to compare shipping prices between UPS and USPS.

Cons

Last October 2024, Stamps.com had a major revision to their website. As a result of updates, my account change my status from administrator to user - automatically with no reason and without my consent. As a user, I cannot add funds, add users nor make any changes to the account. In fact, nobody in my company can make changes. I have spent at least 8 hours on the phone over the past six months trying to sort out the problem. The bottom line is that my account has a bug and they cannot fix it. It’s a poor platform and design. The 1800- number for help is an overseas call center and nobody has the tech expertise to fix anything; they have to call someone else so you are waiting for them to ask someone else for answers. They have a poor design and cannot even fix their own technical problems nor answer questions. I am closing my account today after giving them plenty of time to fix the problem.
