When I purchased the firm, there were only spreadsheets used. The program was a step up from that for sure. Pros Projects and due dates could be easily managaed. Time entries and client information were stored easily. Cons The entire process of billing took way too long. There were too many screens and reports to pull. No client communication available. Pros CS Professional Suite is a good tool to help manage payroll and pay your employees. Cons Some reporting features can be convoluted and be a little difficult to figure out without support. Similar to using MS Money, which I use for personal finances. Pros User friendly interface. Easy to navigate for the normal everyday business accounting tasks. Our accountant uses this software. I have enter daily bank transactions (EFT,check, ACH, cash ) deposits and check register for our accounts payable. Easy to navigate, set up transaction templates, etc. Cons Do not like how you toggle between accounts. There is one field for data entry and other field for viewing. Depending on what "buttons" you click on, the fields revert back and make it easy to enter transaction into wrong account. This is not a big deal, but rather a nuisance. Entries can be easily corrected. Fortunately, we use primarily one bank account for our practice. Pros It was easy to integrate and streamline everything. Fixed assets and other programs like ultra tax work seamlessly with this application. Cons It can be buggy and lagging at times. It does have a learning curve that may be a problem for some people. Pros I only used the payroll but it was so easy to set up and run payroll. Adding new states was so easy to do. Cons We do not use this product anymore. We switched to Namely because of the integration of HRIS, Benefits and Payroll all together.
