### "Best Multi-Use HRIS Platform"

February 12, 2026

5.0

Great experience with an all-in-one platform that continues to provide more value and access to information for our employees.

Pros

Separate Modules. You can start small with Time & Labor and HR & Payroll and then later add on modules like Recognition & Rewards or Performance. Peak Articles: Helpful AI and Articles that can provide assistance without having to reach out to a representative.

Cons

There is a learning curve. Once the language is learned, it makes it so much easier to explain what the issue is that you are experiencing when you have to chat with a customer service representative.

### "10/10 Recommend"

April 13, 2026

Overall, I would recommend to any company as we have had a great experience transitioning over to them. Super easy to use and essential for our day to day work.

Pros

What I like the most about is how easy it is to use and all the features it has available to the company. The time tracking is nice and easy to use with no lagging or issues. Our company loves to inlude updates and news on the app as well which is very useful! Great value as well!

Cons

We just recently swicthed to and have not found anything that we do not like! It has been a smooth and easy transition!

### "LSG review"

April 22, 2026

3.0

Product was easy to navigate; they just needed better customer support. They also need an employee line when our employees call for help in getting access to log in.

Pros

It was easy to learn and navigate through. I managed to learn most of the system on my own. Other than customer support and customer service it was great.

Cons

Customer service and support. Whenever I called in for help I got a little attitude and most of the time, I was told someone will get back to me after they look int the situation and I sometimes I was the one calling back to follow up.

### "Excellent software, still developing every day"

February 27, 2026

5.0

Pros

I like the ease of use for employees, managers, and admins. has a great flow through the onboarding process, to everyday use, and special circumstances. We transitioned to Paylocity in 2022 and in the last 4 years the system, software, and mobile app have exceled through many updates. The nice part about these updates is that it's not just decision of Paylocity but they take the feedback from surveys done by clients and users. The system has saved us so much time in the field and in back office for payroll tracking and accurate payments. We have saw a large reduction in additional payroll costs due to paying accurately through Paylocity, compared to our old processor.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about the system is restriction of features when you are under a large TPA umbrella. We have 4 company entities, but we work through a TPA so our 3 companies fall under their umbrella. What this means is features like password resets, access to edit employee information, direct deposit updates, etc. we can not do ourselves. We have to send a request through them and then wait for their team to process that. I just feel an admin of a company ID should be able to reset anyone in that company and be able to control their own company fully. We just get told that to have that access then we would see all the other companies under that TPA. There has to be a way to change that.

I was new to last year and it's been a great experience learning the software, excellent trainings and great customer support.

Pros

The customer support is outstanding! It's easy to use and the price is right! I like that I can reach out to my account manager at any time and will get a quick response back to any issue that I may be having.

Cons

I don't really have any issues with . I do think there should be dates in Labor Allocation as to when an allocation is changed.

### "Paylocity is a first class payroll system"

February 16, 2026

5.0

My experience with has been excellent. From our initial transition to the platform and through our multiple integrations, we have had outstanding customer support. We are a much more effective accounting/hr team because we use Paylocity.

Pros

is easy to use and flexible making it easy to handle our payroll. I have had excellent customer support any time I have required assistance. We use the time and attendence module and have integrated with our accounting and benefits plans to streamline and automate the payroll allocations, makeing this efficient and saves us both time and money.

Cons

When we first started with the integration was not available with our accounting software, but it has recently updated to become available. I have found that many of the issues I have had in the past have been updated in technology upgrades over the past couple of years.

### "Very pleased with switching to Paylocity"

February 26, 2026

5.0

What offers is great. Every Paylocity employee we have worked with is very nice. My only complaint is our main contact seems to change frequently.

Pros

The ease of everything being in one place. It's not just payroll, it is training, recruiting and expense reports. We can use it on a desktop or on our phones. The mobile app is great for our employees who are on the road most of the time.

Cons

Sometimes as an administrator it is not as intuitive as I would like. Some features I don't use all the time. When I do have to use it, I have to re-educate myself on how to do it.

### "Three Times In, and Paylocity Still Impresses"

February 26, 2026

5.0

This is my third time working with , and I continue to bring it to every organization I join because it delivers the right balance: powerful enough for HR and Payroll, yet intuitive, simple, and accessible for everyone else. Paylocity also consistently enhances its platform in meaningful ways. Most importantly, I’ve always experienced a genuine ‘people‑first’ culture in how you support and care for your employees.

Pros

I love the philosophy behind everything you do about your product and services. It aligns well with ours. It's designed to support human decisions, not just process transactions. It's usable and intuitive. And it's agile to the changing needs of the clients.

Cons

While I’m very satisfied overall, I do wish the Performance and Compensation modules were more robust.

### "1x Year With Paylocity!"

February 26, 2026

4.0

Has been a good experience overall! Glad we made the switch. Onboarding into the system was good, but I think we could've used more "on-call" support.

Pros

We made the switch to in 2025 and have really enjoyed the autonomy of the platform. We're able to do so much in one singular program - recruiting, HR profiles, report pulls, payroll, etc. It is good value for the money. The new AI chatbox is actually very helpful when trying to figure out how to operate the system.

Cons

While most of the system is intuitive, there are some major intricacies to the platform that you just don't know about until you're backtracking or fixing. Customer support is great majority of the time once you understand the prorgam, but our first few months were rough just trying to learn everything.

### "Honest mid-size company Paylocity review"

February 13, 2026

3.0

Better than Paycor but unsatisfied. Overpromised and under delivered. It’s clunky and with limited app options employees rarely login unless to clock hours or submit PTO.

Pros

Ability for hourly team members to clock on and off on the mobile app and ability to limit this within a geofence to confirm they are on-site when they enter their hours. I also like being able to configure a personalized onboarding task list for new hires and that they can upload I9 documents directly in this pre-hire stage. I like the opportunity for team collaboration with community but the buy-in has been slow

Cons

That we were over promised on services and very limited app functions. Poor payroll functionality. Too much repetitive data input from HR for everything from onboarding integration with Employee Navigator to a simple promotion with pay change. Customer support was promised to be local and readily available but, apart from a few requests, has felt very disengaged and responses that items will be looked into have ended there. Reporting is not intuitive and each report I do pull I have to build from scratch. Other reports I’d like to have are reports I’ve been told my recommendations of improvements have been noted. It’s frustrating. For TEAM COLLABORATION I was excited that I could include a prehire personalized “about you” questionnaire that would be automatically shared with the future employees manager, but this doesn’t transfer as a separate item into the employee profile. So while managers can view it in onboarding, once they’re moved to hire it’s only in the summary which includes private info like direct deposit and I9 details and it’s not accessible to a direct manager.

### "Paylocity is an overall good Product "

January 29, 2026

3.0

Overall the experience lands in the middle at good. I wish more I had a hands on dedicated account manager that I could get to easily and schedule time with vs relying on an email or gambling on a call back. Someone that actually checks in from time to time would be nice.

Pros

The ease of use of this product is really great. It is very easy for employees to navigate, and the mobile app functions really well. The products I use suit my needs as a small/mid sized organization.

Cons

Customer support is often in form of an article vs easily getting to your account manager to assist you. The reporting function is sometime limited as well.

### "Payroll designed with ease."

February 26, 2026

5.0

The support is live and in real time. Pricing is great. User-friendly for admin and employees. It allows everyone in the company to stay connected. I like how at the bottom of time cards you can instantly see benefit balances. is constantly making changes for optimal use that employees find themselves doing it with ease. I have a lot less traffic in my office because of their platform.

Pros

Anytime I have an issue, I can just pick up the phone and get a live representative to immediately help me remedy my problem(s).

Cons

After leaving work, Realizing, I had forgot to submit payroll again. I have had to turn around and go back to work so I can submit from my desktop. The mobile app does not allow us to perform that function. The other thing that is somewhat cumbersome is pulling reports. It works for very simple reports, but anything beyond simple requires a call to for help. Would like to see more user friendly.

### "Neutral Satisfaction"

February 26, 2026

3.0

Neutral. With separate systems and teams, it takes more effort than expected to resolve issues involving more than one system or team. It feels as if 's system has plateaued in dashboards, benefits, reporting and overall system functionality. I'm starting to feel that other platforms can offer a more dynamic and supportive option with easier interfaces, insights and reporting.

Pros

Consolidating all services into one integrated platform. We use Recruiting, Onboarding, HRIS, Benefits (Bswift) to COBRA (WEX), including Section 125 spending accounts, and Compensation modules.

Cons

Annual Benefits process for Open Enrollment. The experience with a new team for our 2026 OE was the most challenging of my career, with multiple errors, workflow issues, incomplete work and many phone calls and emails to reach a resolution. I have no recourse to elevate issues above the team that is problematic. Reporting is challenging. There are many options but not always the ones we need. The report writer to create customer reports is also challenging to use unless you watch training courses. Account and sales managers change without advance notice. It is rare that an account manager will reach out to check in and offer support. Outreach is either reactive to an issue submitted, or to pitch a new offering.

5.0

I'd recommend it for sure. I do not like the help options but it's otherwise user friendly. To be clear, if I reached out for help I would get it. I just have trouble using self service help.

Pros

I think it's more user friendly than other programs I've used. It seems more up to date. Some other programs I've used seem outdated. However, I haven't used that many to compare.

Cons

I do not think searching for help on topics is easy. In fact, I think it's hard. I never seem to find the topic I'm looking for and I get too many similar options. I spend a lot of time reading over stuff I don't need. Additionally, when I do find instructions they aren't always for the version I have. The instructions don't match up with what I have on my screen.

### "Paylocity Recommended, Small Company Approved"

January 29, 2026

4.0

Overall, I love and would recommend it to any similar-to-larger sized company! I'm really happy with the ways Paylocity as helped us streamline processes and become more efficient. Paylocity has helped our employees gain confidence to handle certain things on their own, such as submitting timecard adjustments, where they used to rely heavily on HR to do this. Now, HR can focus a bit more on bigger picture things. Paylocity has it's moments where it doesn't function 100% perfectly, just like the rest of us, but it's uses significantly outweigh any problems we may have had.

Pros

I find to be a one-stop shop, making it much easier to handle payroll, timekeeping, time off management, HR filing, onboarding, reviews, and community all in one place instead of having to use multiple separate systems. I love that it automates a lot of things, such as workflows, which helps streamline processes for me. Open enrollment is significantly easier, despite being an imperfect system. Payroll is also incredibly simple since it pulls the timekeeping data directly. Everything we use it for has become easier, and I've heard that integrations, like with Justifacts, make hiring a lot easier. The initial setup was really easy, thanks to a fantastic onboarding process. The call-in customer support line is great! (as long as there isn't a huge wait time)

Cons

is an imperfect system. There are random glitches at times, such as not being able to download performance reviews still. Sometimes (like this problem), these issues go unaddressed but cause disruptions almost daily for us. Another example of this is employee's not being able to see their documents all the time. For our annual reviews, EEs are required to review certain documents and sign off that they are correct still. Now, I have to manually download and send them to each employee. In general, what I'm saying is that issues sometimes take a while to be addressed -- response time is sometimes delayed via email.

It was awful, honestly. Not able to do timekeeping data transfer. Had to manually track time/PTO requests and enter them into Paycor for payroll. We also had one specific event where they sent our W2s to the wrong company, and sent us theirs. They were super caviler about it too, and just told us to throw them away (not shred or destroy or send back, just throw them away).

### "Responsive Customer Support & Robust Features Offsets Learning Curve and UI Challenges"

January 16, 2026

4.0

This vendor / product works very well, is reliable, robust, customizable, and has excellent customer support (better than competitors that we've worked with). We use the product for time & labor tracking, PTO balance tracking, and running payroll - it also offers features for HR document storage and employee performance reviews, but we haven't used those much yet. Due to the robust features and customizability offered, implementation was quite involved, and the UI isn't always intuitive; however, whenever I call customer support, they're very responsive, knowledgeable, and effective. I've been an admin for this product for multiple years, are there are still things I don't understand about pay types, cost centers, export matrices, PTO accruals, etc. The only real headache I've had with this product is the inability to change certain, specific things from my end. For example, editing PTO rules / accrual rates has been difficult in the past - they make me fill out a form with tons of questions (some don't even apply to our usage), and whenever I do that, I feel uncertain whether my responses will result in the effect I hope for. I've heard they're building a client-facing accruals team, which I'm sure will help bridge that gap. All that being said, this product has been very successful for us, and we plan to continue using it for the foreseeable future.

Pros

Customizability is definitely a huge win for this product - editing pay types, earnings, deductions, taxability, PTO accruals - it's really easy once you get past the learning curve. All the settings go quite deep and could be implemented in a vast array of use cases. Customer service - it's easy to get in touch with support, and the team has always been very responsive, knowledgeable, and effective. Time card approvals, time off requests, and manager / supervisor roles work very well. Managing teams is quick and easy (again, once you bridge the learning curve), allowing you to edit supervisors for time off requests, etc. Departmental mapping has been a win for us. also seems to release frequent product updates, so they're definitely investing in the product's future with innovations. I love the "check calculator" feature, which allows us to input checks into payroll that we print outside of the software.

Cons

The inability to edit our own PTO accrual settings (or, at least, easily) was a pain point for us, and took quite a while to sort out through multiple attempts and form submissions. I dislike how often I have to switch between the "Time & Labor" section and the "HR & Payroll" section. I wish those two were a bit more seamless, as they work together closely - I often open two tabs at the same time so I can have one page open on each tab, just to reference info or accomplish a task. Lastly, I dislike how complex and vast the UI is. It serves its purpose well and can be highly tailored to any use, but I often find myself clicking around trying to find that "one page with the little setting on it." If I need a feature or setting changed, I often call support, as that seems to work more quickly than navigating the UI.

ADP was admittedly simpler to use, but customer support (especially on important payroll dates) left much to be desired.
