It’s been very positive. I haven’t found anything better. They’ve been able to meet all my needs. I’ve added additional modules recently and it was seamless.

Pros

Really easy to implement and upscale as needed. Saves a ton of admin time. Many different modules to integrate HR functions and simplify compliance.

Cons

Sometimes it’s hard to gets answers when there is a problem. The sales people change often and can be aggressive.

Overall, I would recommend to any company as we have had a great experience transitioning over to them. Super easy to use and essential for our day to day work.

What I like the most about is how easy it is to use and all the features it has available to the company. The time tracking is nice and easy to use with no lagging or issues. Our company loves to inlude updates and news on the app as well which is very useful! Great value as well!

We just recently swicthed to and have not found anything that we do not like! It has been a smooth and easy transition!

Product was easy to navigate; they just needed better customer support. They also need an employee line when our employees call for help in getting access to log in.

Pros

It was easy to learn and navigate through. I managed to learn most of the system on my own. Other than customer support and customer service it was great.

Cons

Customer service and support. Whenever I called in for help I got a little attitude and most of the time, I was told someone will get back to me after they look int the situation and I sometimes I was the one calling back to follow up.

Frustrating, but good enough. It's unfortunate to give such a lukewarm review, especially when the platform has so much potential, but as-is, it's really just not excellent.

Pros

Overall it's pretty customizable, so we can create different access levels for all relevant contributors and doesn't limit the number of contributors you can have. Additionally, some of the modules (performance, recognition, etc.) are pretty intuitive!

Cons

Customer support is extremely hit-or-miss, and honestly mostly miss in our experience. Additionally, there are a ton of limitations that really haven't been addressed in the 3 years since our company switched to .

Overall, really happy with - it is user friendly, both from an Adminstrator perspective and as an employee, that makes training a breeze. Plus, having the knowledge base and the customer hub makes it easier to find answers and request help if needed.

Pros

We love all the integrations that work within that helps automate recruiting, ATS, onboarding, benefits/open enrollment, payroll, and more for having in one system. Plus, the feeds it can do for sending employee data to benefit sites, our 401k. We are exploring more features to add on to further help our HR/Payroll team be more efficient.

Cons

Wish some more features were included with the cost per employee invoicing of utilizing a lot of like we are now. We want to add on Survey, Learn, and other modules to house even more under one roof but it comes with a cost, which we cannot take on all at once and have to budget for.

The support is live and in real time. Pricing is great. User-friendly for admin and employees. It allows everyone in the company to stay connected. I like how at the bottom of time cards you can instantly see benefit balances. is constantly making changes for optimal use that employees find themselves doing it with ease. I have a lot less traffic in my office because of their platform.

Pros

Anytime I have an issue, I can just pick up the phone and get a live representative to immediately help me remedy my problem(s).

Cons

After leaving work, Realizing, I had forgot to submit payroll again. I have had to turn around and go back to work so I can submit from my desktop. The mobile app does not allow us to perform that function. The other thing that is somewhat cumbersome is pulling reports. It works for very simple reports, but anything beyond simple requires a call to for help. Would like to see more user friendly.

I have used 3 other HR Platforms prior to finding and I will NEVER use another. Their customer service is A++, very knowledgeable with prompt attention to any matter. One important aspect of having a company like Paylocity is "trust", I have a lot of trust in the company as a whole. They stand behind their product. I have been with Paylocity for 5 years and continue to be a satisfied customer. They continue to add features across all areas ie: Payroll, HR, Community etc. I would highly recommend Paylocity!

Pros

's customer service is excellent. All representatives are very knowledgeable and well trained. If I call with a question or send an email it is promptly addressed. I love their new streamlined Payroll process. It is user friendly and they have a variety of integrations available. Paylocity also has a wide range of reports that you can run or customize. Time and Labor serves our 3 office locations well and is easy to use and integrate into Payroll.

Cons

I am 100% satisfied with the features I use though . I do not have the need to utilize some of the modules like workflows, performance or recruiting, so I cannot give an intelligible review on those modules. Personally, I do not have any cons to list for what I use Paylocity for, they meet all of our needs and more!

Initially, I never LOVED the product of Complete Payroll, it was always lacking on HR end. BUT what made me really leave BambooHR was that THEY made an error when they put us on a monthly tax schedule vs bi weekly and it cost us $10k in penalties. They did not take ownership of their mistake even though their representatives initials were logged as having entered the information. At that point, I lost confidence and trust in them. We did stay with them for some time, but that experience soured how I felt about working with them.

Has been a good experience overall! Glad we made the switch. Onboarding into the system was good, but I think we could've used more "on-call" support.

Pros

We made the switch to in 2025 and have really enjoyed the autonomy of the platform. We're able to do so much in one singular program - recruiting, HR profiles, report pulls, payroll, etc. It is good value for the money. The new AI chatbox is actually very helpful when trying to figure out how to operate the system.

Cons

While most of the system is intuitive, there are some major intricacies to the platform that you just don't know about until you're backtracking or fixing. Customer support is great majority of the time once you understand the prorgam, but our first few months were rough just trying to learn everything.

The new changes to General Ledger reporting are great and were much needed. It has cut our G/L processing time down considerably and is very user-friendly.

Cons

Some layout changes happen unannounced and can take some time to figure out. Also, some wait times can be long when calling to speak to our rep.

When we started using , 5 years ago, it was a nightmare. It took me almost 2 years to clean after implementation was completed. Some codes were pre-tax, and they needed to be post-tax, etc.

Pros

My current account manager and her predecessor are great,\[sensitive content hidden\]. Reports are easy to read and understand.

Cons

CS at the beginning was a nightmare. removes reports. The "Master Labor Distribution" was removed, and we used it a lot. I don't have an account manager for Benefits.

Our overall experience with has been very positive. Paylocity has helped to minimize our time spent doing payroll and HR tasks because the programming is very efficient. We highly recommend Paylocity as an HRIS for all companies.

Pros

is a very user friendly platform. It was a seamless transition to integrate Paylocity into our company. As an HR and Payroll Manager, I have everything I could possibly need and more available to me with the various components of the software. I have found the custom reporting options to be extremely helpful and have saved me a lot of time. Anytime I have a question, the service team is great at providing support and are very knowledgeable.

Cons

It has only happened a few times in 5 years, but there has been poor communication with changes at times which can be frustrating. I also wish that some of the components of the software were available at a lower cost, so that we could benefit from them. As a non-profit company, we have had to chose the most valuable aspects of the software because of pricing per employee.

Overall, I'd say my experience with has been nothing but great. I find the ease of use, reporting and task management are great.

Pros

I find the portal to be easy to navigate and helpful prompts. The platform seems to be well thought out. I have had great customer support since joining there HR team October 2025.

Cons

It would be helpful when a new user is added to the account that the account manager makes contact with that new person to learn their role in the platform and give them a learning plan. offers great L & D but can be a little overwhelming when you first jump into the platform.

It has been easy to learn and we had a great support team helping us set up and learn everything from the Custom Fields to the Events we launch in the Onboarding.

Pros

I love that we can go from the initial application to an active employee. I love that we can store everything within the employee profile. Even with each employee having their own profile, it is easy to pull reports on basically all of the things we need.

Cons

I don't like that when there are major changes that the issues are not worked out before doing so. An example would be the latest I-9 roll out. The process is now 100 percent better, but there were quite a few errors along the way.

Every system has its pros and cons but with the pros far outweigh the cons. They are also continually developing the system in positive ways which makes me optomistic that they will develop into an even better system over time.

Pros

As an HR Consultant who uses all the HR systems out there, is the one I recommend the most. The functionality for its price point can't be beat and can be used as a true "all in one" system without the need for supplemental systems. It is also relatively user-friendly.

Cons

I wish they offered more functionality in the employee app (ex. ability to update direct deposit and sign off on reviews). I also wish the format of the reports was more friendly to filtering and pivot tables.

Great! \[sensitive content hidden\] was our implementation specialist and she was fantastic. She showed me so many ways to improve processes in the system.

Pros

We joined after being with ADP (on various different platforms) for several year. The difference is like night and day. The Paylocity implementation teams have been amazing, and the product itself is very popular among our management team and the employees. The system makes it so easy to sending out mass announcements, reviewing and approving timecards so that payroll is accurate, and best of all ---- the price is fantastic for everything they offer. It's made my life so much easier, and has saved me a ton of time with submitting payroll. The integration with our retirement plan and benefits administration is like the cherry on top. I'm so glad we made the switch.

Nothing bad to say! I have had only great interactions with the implementation team and support. Everything has gone really well.

Pros

The platform is extremely easy to use. Reporting doesn't require and IT background, it is very simple to use. Our employees find the mobile app to be user friendly and reliable.

Cons

Sometimes the system seems to glitch while processing payroll. Not a huge deal, because I process well before my cut off time. I have found logging out and back in fixes it.
