Just wondering know there are so many functions I can use but not aware of. If there was a resource manual to look up some of the questions that come up that would really help. After reading the manual and you still have problems then we should be able to call the support line. I am finding if the mobile users do not use the app correctly Exaktime does cannot provide us with the accurate information we require. ie. gps - for some reason some of the timesheet have that highlighted out? Also when you have multiple job sites Exak time does not show you the time they are at each location? If they forget to clock out? Employees can view their time and approve reducing the amount of time backtracking to find an error. Pros tracks time by project so we can jobcost after the project has closed. Employees find it easy to use. once time has been entered for the week. the employee can log on to the website and confirm his time that he will be paid. Cons getting started can be very technical. we run about 3000 projects a year so uploading all of them at the beginning was not an option. we decided to move projects for the next week from Quickbooks to Exaktime. From our initial call to getting everything up and running to every day use, BDHR has been great to work with. Pros It is easy to use and in most cases is very intuitive and has a great layout. Cons There are a few things that are hard to find within the software. Easier access to offer letters within a candidate profile would be appreciated. I like that the responsibility for entering time has shifted from Foremen to the actual employee. It has freed up our foremen's time at the jobsite not having to run around and figure out time. It has been a cost saving in that it pays employees for actual time worked instead of standard 8 hours. So far the only issue I've had is the GPS hasn't been accurate on all punches so it leaves us having to make a judgement call as to deduct time or not Pros it is easy to use once you get the hang of it. " January 15, 2018 4.0 Particularly poor survey methodology to require a minimum length of response. Many survey participants will chose to abandon the process rather than embellish their answers. Pros Ease of operation. Sorry this is all I actually have to say. Having a minimum number of characters is a flaw in your survey methodology. Cons Scrolling through too many screens to get the actual information I want. I particularly find it a con that when I try to take my valuable time to complete a survey, I am told that my answers are too concise. Don't ask me if you don't like my answer. Poor methodology. Cons There are constant product updates (which is good that the software is continuing to develop). Although when released, there seem to be a lot of new glitches that appear. It's nothing terrible, but is just noticeable. Selecting the back button does not actually bring you back to the page you were on for all web pages. Their response time to issues is good. However, the response time to actually resolve issues is less than desirable; 3-7 business days. Cons I would highly recommend that you not use the BirdDog HR software. It's user experience it terrible and seems very dated. The reports that are generated make it easy to run payroll and to track hours to project locations so that they are easily billable. Happy customer! Pros The mobile app being able to clock in and out at different locations and throughout the day and that the app summarizes and syncs the minutes to the quarter hour. The "Timecard Detail" doesn't seem to switch automatically to the current payroll week. 2.
