Billing is annoying, adding users doesn't just go on the same bill and should. Program is generally slow but effective. Geo fence coding uses too much data. Back-end is really easy to use but glitches too often when inputting new locations and editing time cards. Customer service is polite but often takes a while to correct issues. Pros Ease of use. Honestly, that's all I can say so for about the pros. Cons No SOP to try and troubleshoot or learn features on your own; I always have to email an account rep to clarify or show me how to use a feature. Talent feature is very time consuming, as you have to load everything manually into their system and there have been several bugs and glitches. The dashboard could b e good but isn't great. Cons Limited - can't limit locations by employee (would be nice if an employee only saw the locations and costs in their particular job), cost is huge, only two dimensions, does not interface with ADP, can't set up PTO/Holidays in a proper method. Our first training session didn't go well and when we attempted to connect AccountLinx to our QuickBooks system, we ran into so many unexpected road blocks. I reached out to our sales rep and its been a week and have yet to receive a response. I feel like I am left on my own to figure out how to use this program and connect it to our payroll system. Pros We like that the software is straight forward and easy to use. Cons We would have liked a feature where we could add multiple addresses for one job, but we are managing. Owner Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "No t as hands-off as we were led to believe" April 3, 2017 3.0 We unfortunately will not be using ExakTime mobile anymore. When we purchased it, we were led to believe that it would allow the timesheets to be submitted directly to the payroll company with minimal interference from the office. This is not the case. If employees take time off, they are expected to either clock in and out after 8 hours (not practical when someone is on vacation) or write a note and have the bookkeeper manipulate the sheet to submit to the payroll company. We were also having integration issues adding new jobsites from the field for the employees to log into. It would often take hours for the job to appear on everyone's phone, even though we were syncing manually and automatically. There are also differences between the IOS and Android versions, which made it necessary to go in and manipulate individual phones. It ended up being more work for the office staff, which is directly against the problem we were trying to solve. The final straw for us was that it took us a 5 weeks to figure all this out, missing the money back window by a week. Even after explaining our position, we were still denied even a partial refund. Overall this has been a poor experience for us, though this is the second ExakTime product we used. Pros GPS monitoring Cons Not without the same amount of office time required management that a simpler paper system would require. Each timesheet still required manipulation, which was disappointing and not the time saving software we were led to believe it was. May 4, 2017 4.0 Pros This is a good product for the price, it has lots of features and is user friendly. The added integration of free job boards was one of the main reasons we selected the product and have had good results so far. Customer service is usually very fast and helpful. Cons Not enough customization when needed. There are many times when we need a small process changed or need another option for our users but they are unable to accommodate. The dashboard and custom reporting need more work to be fully functional and customizable, errors pop up frequently or results are returned incorrectly. Candidate summaries are permission-based to keep EEO information confidential for non-permissioned users, which is why the job section takes different users to different candidate summaries. It is so helpful to have everything I need in one spot. I can create ads, post jobs, sort resumes, communicate with candidates - all in a few clicks. In addition, I can order my background checks, MVRs, drug tests all within minutes. Customer service is incredible - I have no complains about that. Birddog also does an amazing job educating their clients. Webinars, monthly notes, tips for better recruiting - they offer it all. And I take full advantage of it. And the list could go on & on... July 2, 2018 3.0 We didn't get to benefit from this software. If it meets your needs it would be a fantastic product. Pros Interface was easy to use. Training team was a great group of people that understood our requirements. Cons Sales team oversold the product and it didn't meet the requirements we had on the job. We didn't find out it didn't do the things we were told until the implementation and training team showed up on site.
