### "Azteca Cityworks Review"

December 10, 2020

4.0

It works well in helping schedule work, show the total cost of finishing work, and visually depicting asset management.

Pros

This system is highly configurable to help meet end user needs. Some of the recent web based add-ons have really helped what used to require a high learning curve. The ability to see work visually on a map and the direct connect to GIS is also quite nice.

Cons

I'd like to see more integrations with more 3rd party road applications (though this may not be their fault), a recent change to separate maps onto a different tab makes it hard on remote users working with tablets.

### "Expensive and difficult to use, but does what it's supposed to (most of the time)"

November 7, 2017

3.0

Good reporting and functions well with ESRI GIS to give accurate cost analyses of assets in their mapped areas. Does what it promises.

Pros

Good capabilities in both reporting, visualisation of work being done and cost associated with those areas. Integrates well with GIS data and does keep track of asset costs like it promises.

Cons

Managing the software in-house is difficult to do because it's not exactly intuitive. Employees often have a hard time interacting with the software unless they've been trained specifically - and even then they often need assistance. Working with third-party consultants can work, but then you have the added cost and hassle.
