It makes managing environmental, health, and safety data organized, efficient, and easy to track. The dashboards are intuitive, reporting is customizable, and I always feel confident staying on top of compliance. While there’s a lot to explore at first, the platform is powerful and flexible once you get the hang of it. Pros I love how Intelex keeps all my EHS data organized and easy to track. The dashboards are intuitive, reporting is quick, and it makes staying on top of compliance totally stress-free! HSE Systems Supervisor Oil & Energy Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Guiding continuous imrpovement for safety management systems" October 9, 2025 3.0 Intelex provides a starting point for organizations to implement HSE managent systems with out-of-the-box features and allows flexibility for organizations to evolve their processes, workflows, and tools. It is a good data collection and storage tool. There have been challenges with response times and quality of responses on service and support tickets and outages, but there have been noticeable improvements over time. There are a lot of possibilities within the available applications and ways for users to enter and access their data and generate reports. Pros It is nice to be able to configure the solutions to meet the needs of the organization. The merge templates have been useful in several scenarios, and so are many of the other tools. We are excited about the document preview feature, APIs, predictive text for searching, and multidimensional hierarchy and many other of the new features that are or are becoming available. Compared to other management systems, ILX is reasonably priced and allows for many more opportunities for improvements. Cons System performance has improved, but there are still lags and delays, especially in the non-Production environments. The primary feedback we receive from users is that it takes too many clicks to get through workflows. They want to be able to navigate through the forms with ease and the way the popup windows and search functions have been in the past have been difficult for users. Cons It's aging. I look at more modern systems and want the integrated chat bot, the anyone can write SQL aids, and API connections for every table. Pros The flexibility with configurablilty! This tool allows us to make the form and workflow as complicated as easy as customers need. Also allows to scale up and down over time, data cleanup is usually easy and straight forward. Cons Reporting can be really tough with large data sets, end users login works slower than admins and can be painful if not configured as per best practices. " October 9, 2025 4.0 Overall, it's been a reasonably good implementation experience. There has been some frustration with ILX support, according to our project manager. Pros We're still in the process of implementing the software. I've been able to teach myself how to do things and I'm told it's very easy to create modules. Cons Report creation does not allow for much customization. The disconnect between the UI/UX from V6 to ACTS is apparent. They look completely different. Having to have more than one conversation about where to store equipment, for example, was frustrating. A truly integrated product would not have had that issue. We have experienced challenges when trying to upgrade and are excited to hear that Intelex is working on QA and support processes related to version updates and new features. There's so much functionality available (and new ones being developed) and I'm constantly learning new things. I also want to mention that SUEZ North America has been featured in an Intelex case study which you can read at the link below. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] Pros A great benefit of Intelex and Intelex mobile is that it is customizable to our forms and processes. Using Application Builder, we have the ability to create custom applications that align with our processes. Furthermore, it's easy to use, especially for employees that are out in the field or in remote locations. Notifications allow us to follow up on task completions and Reports/Dashboards allow us to summarize data and track our indicators for compliance. The Intelex Community site is a fantastic resource filled with great documentation and helpful answers from fellow Intelex customers. Cons Initially, managing Intelex might feel overwhelming. There is a steep learning curve when starting out as an Intelex system admin, especially if you start customizing application source code, building out complex features or working with the API. The only con that I have for the system is that the save button is not a the bottom of report fields. The online knowlege center is great for beginning users but lacks detailed information for heavy power users. This is a deliberate choice so not to overwhelm the majority of users. Pros The organization of facilities, equipment, and operational data hierarchy is very useful for setting up emissions calculations. I also appreciate the flexibility of scripts to move data as needed and the highly flexible reports. Cons It is difficult to use ACTS as a primary asset management system, in part due to a high minimum skill requirement for new users to enter site data, so its use of s usually limited to office users.
