Have gotten to know many of the staff that we've had to call for customer support, etc. Been a really good fit for our needs and the needs of our customers. Pros It's made for camps! They know what camp staff need to be successful and they've built it. The put on an incredible conference that pulls in all the though leaders in camp world to consistently offer great content relating to this industry. CampMinder has completely changed the game and my families are already loving it! Pros I love how this software shows me everything I want to know when registering my campers and hiring staff. I feel like I finally know what's going on at all times. Cons Nothing, everything so far has been wonderful. Camp minder gets it done. Pros easy access to health records and treatments at camp. Also admins can easily manage camper's overall info. It is a quick onboarding process. There are tons of resources available to help the process and answer any questions. The customer service is very great and are on top of answering the phones. The interface is simple and the homepage has a great look. Cons I wish there were more task management features. It houses a ton of information and would be better suited with tasks and logging of information. Also wish the registration process for parents for account login was more seamless with less confusion for parents with emails or accounts on file. I think there might have been some confusion on the parents side, with adding medications to a camper's profile but I wonder if that is a camp specific problem or if multiple users experienced this issue. Pros The software was pretty easy to learn and use, the help videos and links came in handy and the online training got me up to speed and got me off to a great start for the health center. Cons Off the top of my head, one gripe I had with CampMinder from the nursing stand point is that when I was signed in I was able to use the drop down menu to assign a nurse to a task, such as medication administration. The reason I did not love this is because another nurse has access to assign my name to a task such as the administration of medication without my approval. If I am signed in, I feel as if I should only be able to assign myself. Also, now that I am thinking about it, there were a handful of times I was able to backdate a time but when I saved the action, the time I put in was not correct. This was not always the case, sometimes it worked correctly and sometimes it did not. Review Source LM Lily M. Pros Most information is available and it is not difficult to use. Cons Information and reporting is not easily accessible. Many reports that should be available or simple to run are not. The EMAR is easy to use, was able to sort and organize medications, record and track treatments, contact parents and keep everything organized and clear. Used the system daily and was super impressed with its ease of use! Pros Easy to customize and filter features and reports for different medical camp functions. Custom forms are also easy to create with custom questions for a specific sessions. The mixture of ease of use with incredible customer support is why I am such a big fan. Pros It is easy to use and it does what I need and how I need it. Cons Not much I don't like. It makes the platform user friendly and meets our needs in so many specific ways. I can easily find what I need. Cons Would like to be able to send more exciting and snazzy emails to campers as follow-ups throughout the year. Things like seasonal clip art that would make the emails fun for campers to receive.
