Pros

We are a 20 - rooms property and have nothing but a great experience with Hotelogix - especially their customer service is a highlight: email or even live-chat!! To each of my questions, the answer is never too far and the team communicates very closely also with my Channel Manager in order to resolve all problems. The software itself is able to picture the reality of the hotel business perfectly: room changes, early check-outs, room block-outs, different taxes and add-ons to basic prices - I am amazed!

Cons

I'd wish for an easier way to change prices on a daily basis OR to import base rates from the channel manager.

In the beginning it was heavy to learn. The frontdesk was used the old system. But now, We all now can work with it,

Ease of use

Pros

I find the system very user friendly and the support is nothing short of excellence! I also like the way the whole solution has been packaged to include IPOS ( material Management) and Re-pup ( Reputation Management. This is probably the most helpful solution I have used to date.

Cons

I cant quite point a finger at any weakness that is bad enough to affect my daily operations as the team is always on standby to assist in case of any challenge.

Very positive and I can highly recommend it.

Pros

There are many features here that actually help to drive revenue and there is an extensive range of useful features which minimize the effort needed to manage bookings etc and this helps us focus on the most important tasks which is actually delivered a great service to our guests!

Cons

Learning how to use the system is not as simple as other PMS' I have used before but I think the features it offers makes up for the learning curve.

I use very few of the reports offered and it would be nice to have a list of commonly used reports shown via Youtube. It is possible that I have overlooked some awesome reports.

Free and random reservations made on line, and assigned automatically in the system randomly, in which case it creates overbookings.

Hotelogix integrate a lot of modules and fonctions within its PMS. They have all the option needed for a fluent and easy experience for the operationnel teams. Exhaustive and price sensitive, the pms has it all to make the hotel services more customer oriented.

Beware!!!!!!!! This software program is full of problems. Firstly the login is always an issue because on the first page it always says there is someone else logged in, SUSPECT!!!! Secondly, on the front desk sometimes the dates don't line up with the correct days, worry when your booking guests for the dates. Thirdly, the system is meant to be user friendly and clearly its NOT!!!! We had over the Christmas New Year period a total of 10 double bookings all caused by this dodgy software....at first, Hotelogix offered to sort out the mess until it was going to cost them a lot of money and then they proceeded in throwing the blame onto me, which I totally expected because that's what unprofessional businesses do to rectify the problem. Stay away from this software and company, BAD NEWS!!!!!

We have shared the logs that clearly point to the reason and helps you resolve your issues with the channels that you work with. Firstly, the alert on login as expressed earlier is because you don't log out when ending your session. You can easily control this by logging out after ending your session. Secondly, when connected to a third party, all availability and dates will always remain in sync as long as you refrain from making manual edits on channels directly, in which case we cannot control the outcome and the resulting overbooking. Your over bookings are on this account, and we have shared the system logs to confirm this. All this is very simple as you can see here. We would still like to help and get this sorted for you. Our priority is to extend exceptional services to all clients, and given a chance, we would continue to do so for you as well.

Frustrating as there seem to be extremely long hold times during live chat conversations, and have to explain multiple times what we want/need done as associate does not seem to understand what we are saying

Pros

It’s pretty basic in my opinion. Retrieving a check in list and check out list is easy, but you can’t produce a checkout list from the function on the right hand side without doing a night audit.

Cons

The inability to change the status of a booking as arrived, departed, etc. Without doing the night audit is extremely frustrating and inconvient. You feel like you’re doing double the work for no reason. No popup feature when you however over the booking to see any special alerts There needs to be an internal chat among staff who handle the booking to communicate as much info as possible without cluttering the actual booking itself

Very dependable software that can help to have a very clear instant picture of all the bookings

Cons

The application disconnects a little bit too frequently and login process, using captcha and confirming front desk all the times, takes away some precious seconds especially if I am on a phone call or checking in customers at the reception.
