Overall, I am very satisfied with Hotelogix and we will continue to work with them for the long run. We hope that they introduce more upgrades, especially multiple languages that fit to our tailored market needs.

Pros

Hotelogix is user-friendly and provides the tools required to run a mid-sized property with multiple outlets. It has its own channel manager, and can also integrate with the industry leading channel managers. Reports are detailed and comprehensive. Customer support is available 24 hours and they are always there to help. The sales and relationship team are very efficient, they keep periodic communication, and always ask for feedback and ways to improve. All this comes at a fairly decent annual fee compared to other similar PMS.

Cons

Hotelogix could have worked better if it supported multiple languages, especially South East Asian and South Asian Countries, such as Korean, Mandarin and Japanese. This could maximize guest-contact features and make it worth the investment.

My overall experience with Hotelogix has been very positive. From the training phase up to full implementation, the transition was smooth and well-guided. What stood out the most is the system’s intuitive and user-friendly interface, which made it easy for the team to adapt quickly. Their support team is reliable, providing clear, step-by-step assistance and resolving concerns with minimal downtime. I also appreciate how responsive their key contacts are—our implementation manager, Parvesh, and our account manager, Sonu, who is especially helpful whenever I have urgent concerns. Their guidance and quick response times contribute greatly to a seamless experience. Overall, Hotelogix has been efficient, easy to use, and backed by a support team that truly ensures operational continuity.

Pros

What I liked most about Hotelogix is its user-friendly system and intuitive interface. From the training phase up to the full implementation, the transition was very smooth. Their support team is also highly reliable—they handle inquiries efficiently, provide step-by-step guidance, and ensure issues are resolved with minimal downtime. I would also like to acknowledge Pravesh Manhas, our Implementation Manager, and Sonu Gupta, our Account Manager, for their superb support and service. Even after more than a year, they remain very accommodating and extremely easy to work with.

Cons

What I liked least about Hotelogix is that some features still have limited customization. There are certain modules where having more flexibility would help streamline the workflow, especially for properties with more specific operational needs. There are also times when the system experiences slight delays during peak usage, which can affect the pace of work. But overall, on the positive side, these concerns are manageable, and their support team remains reliable. Messaging our account manager, Sonu Gupta, has also been very helpful whenever I have urgent concerns, as he responds quickly and ensures issues are addressed with proper guidance and minimal downtime.

A pure nightmare. None of the promises we heard during the initial sales pitch and during implementation were kept. We faced issues with their team loading our existing bookings all under only 1 name, then changing to our reservation team name, losing traces and important details, and not even realizing they were wrong: we had to explain why we could not have 30 reservations under the same name, then again why the reservations could not be under our sales team name! Mr. \[sensitive content hidden\], their sales person totally disappeared and did not care even to hop on a call after the sale was done. Mr. \[sensitive content hidden\] had to be begged to have a call with, and to replace Mrs. \[sensitive content hidden\] as implementation manager as incapable of the job. Mr. \[sensitive content hidden\] promised to extend the first 3 months fully paid term of 1 month, but forgotten, and charged us cheating and taking other 3 months without our permission on 28 February. We could not use their system, no proper training was given, we lost revenue and our resort's image was damaged, and until now they refuse to refund the 3-month payment done by "mistake" to which they agreed to find a solution at the beginning of March 2025. We are unable to keep our company credit card active with the fear they might charge again anything without any authorization or approval. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM AT ALL!

NOTHING to like in this PMS, unless you want to have troubles and loss of money

product designed without basic understanding of front office and reservation operations, useless implementation managers providing lectures instead of solving problems, charged for additional 3 months fees without approval, promised a 1 month extension to the first 3 months to solve problems and charged "forgetting" the promise. POS not integrating with PMS with loss of revenue. Guest receiving squares instead of a proper confirmation letter when booking via channel manager

Overall the software UI is very friendly and very advance! Also the support team is very quick and prompt service 24/7 . There's also a seperate portal for the Hotel Accounts and Store management which is essential for our industry . The Audit Trail feature really helpful to keep tracking the records of the booking .

We received excellent training from (\[sensitive content hidden\]) on the system, and he was part of the process in handing us over to our Account Manager (\[sensitive content hidden\]). \[sensitive content hidden\] is a wonderful addition to our hotels that are on Hotelogix system, always willing to assist, looking at the issue from an operational point to ensure we get the maximum usage from the system. Created a WhatsApp chat group to stay in touch, he is really and truly invested in taking care of his account group. PS: \[sensitive content hidden\] you are the BEST and thank you for all the support and patience, I know we can get a lot some days, but you are always our pilar in the chaos.

Pros

Hotelogix offers easy access to online support, no waiting period to get assistance. The Support Team are knowledgeable in all aspects / quick / friendly and professional.

Cons

### "Functionality, Customer Service"

This is the fundamental software of any hotel, so it's critical it has the features you need, has good uptime, and the company is responsive to your questions. Hotelogix checks all those boxes, to my view.

Pros

It's intuitive for its basic features that your staff have to use, and very feature-rich. You have to live with it a while to learn how it goes about doing certain things, but once you do that and get a workflow going, it has a remarkable list of features. They are also tech-savvy and use advanced customer-service tools, so you get a sense that they are tech-forward people and will keep improving the product along the latest lines. I think their customer service may be their best attribute: they're available 24 hours a day, which is not something that, in particular, the North American companies offer unless you are paying tons of money for a very premium product. And they're very nice, with an old-world manner.

Cons

There are functions that could be simplified and shown more clearly and in a more user-friendly way; I just chalk this up to the company being from India so their English is often more formal and complex and sometimes can be interpreted in more than one way. And sometimes you have to search for info (such as, how every tax and fee is broken down, in a customer's bill) instead of it being able to be easily shown right there on the first page. But I'm okay to have to have this, in return for the functionality and the other attributes. And you can always ask them about every detail, and of course suggest improvements.

I like the quality of reports that you’re able to receive with the software.

Cons

My billing is suppose to be directly deducted from my credit card. For some reason hotel logix decided this month they didn’t want to do an automatic withdrawal. The account isn’t even a month past due and they choose to block access, so night audit and checkout for guests could not be completed. I get a call Christmas Eve morning and half to deal with something stupid like this is infuriating. When speaking to my account rep over the phone he laughed at me. I have two hotels which I use this software and may start looking for other software if this is how you are treated.

We are able to better report our daily revenues, better track an accurate average daily rate. We find the night audit function to be very useful to promote security of the data for passed reservations and revenue reporting. The Housekeeping module really helps with cleaning of the room on time and the POS is very helpful for guests incidentals and room charges.

Pros

In terms of functionality, ease of use, reporting, reservations management, Hotelogix's Property Management System cloud-based system is comparable to many non-cloud based (desktop) PMS such as RDPWin, Opera Lite, etc., and I have used most of the big desktop system and many cloud-based systems. I love the following features of Hotelogix's PMS. - Front Desk Check-in and Check-out process is easy to use - Able to do Split Reservations with ease - Group Reservation and Management of Group Blocks - Admin console is user-friendly and able to set-up or change rates with ease - Creating special packages, promos and group codes is easy - Corporate partners, travel agents can login to their accounts to track bookings, commission or invoice outstanding. - Accounts Integration and Posting to City Ledger for Corporate bookings - TripAdvisor Review Integration for clients - Housekeeping Management of Rooms with ease - Restaurant Point of Sale Module is superb - Booking Engine easy to set-up and user-friendly - Channel Manager Integration is quite easy to work with - Revenue Report for Daily, Weekly or Monthly use. Helps with Revenue Management for hotel - Export/Import Feature to Excel, CSV or PDF - City Ledger Accounts integrate well with Xero account system and QuickBook imports - Technical support team is always available to assist, even though we are worlds apart and in very different time zones (11 hours apart)

Cons

No primary cons for me, except that the graphics of the Booking Engine could be improved and larger to fit screen for ease of viewing.

We have had a good experience with Hotelogix. We upgraded from a program that was not cloud based but similar. We have a lot of returning guests who come from year to year certain times of the year and it's easy to go back as far as we need to to be able to look at previous reservations. Customer support is excellent!! We usually have our questions/problems answered and resolved in a matter of minutes.

Pros

Easy to book reservations, check in and out. Add-ons, or extra charges, are easy to add to reservation. As Administrator, it's easy to make changes as needed to motel information, rates, etc.

Cons

Not being able to change rates, make tax exempt, or basically make any needed changes to the reservation once the after it has rolled over for the night. You can make changes to the charges by doing an allowance or custom charge, it would just be easier to do it though

The system has all the features you need but the user interface is crowded and hard to use. Critical errors make the system highly unreliable, and errors in their payments integrations that continuously fail to get fixed are causing the system to be too unreliable for operation.

\- Their web booking engine cannot be customized so guests see a very ugly interface when trying to book online - Their payments gateways aren't integrated with the frontdesk booking so you have to register payments for deposits when you take bookings via email or phone - They did not upgrade their Stripe integration to comply with the new EU laws around authentication and payments, resulting in every single payment through our web booking engine now failing for a month. The company should have known about this for a year and should have been able to prepare their integration for this change but they failed to do so, and it's now costing us money every single day, every single minute. Hotelogix is responsive but are not able to give us a time line for when this is fixed and are essentially breaching EU law. This has been a horrendous experience and the support staff doesn't understand the severity of the issue. - We have had several double bookings due to sudden integration failures with booking.com. Those issues have been fixed quickly by the support staff but really hurt our reputation even if it just happens a few times. Again, completely unreliable. You're just waiting every day for something to break.

The amounts of clicks in some operations like checkouts should be smoothen down to a minimum to enhance guest experience upon checkouts. Its getting there, but should have more backend possibilities to turn off warnings etc, that takes down clicks in general.

Having a cloud based system was critical for our business. It has been easy for our staff to use and it is a good value for the price.

Cons

Unlike a typical hotel, we are a lodge that manages and books vacation rentals for private owner. We were unable to find software that fit our needs, but chose Hotelogix because it seemed the best option out there to customize. Setting up the different fees and pricing is challenging for us. The channel manager functionality doesn't allow us to take third party bookings in a way we are satisfied with. We had hoped to link our reservation calendars to our website, however we are unable to do so with our desired functionality.

Initially when I started with Hotelogix there were a few of the loopholes however support did a good job in resolving and taking care of the points. And as far as the future expansion is concerned then same shell is easy to deployment with minimal number of deployment days.

Pros

Ease of deployment & ease of connectivity with multiple applications. And even after connecting with multiple products workflow is smooth.

Cons

No cons as of now & if cons are there it gets resolved by the support on priority basis.

Reason for choosing Hotelogix

As it is used over all units of Amritara Hotels & Resorts due to it's multiple cloud benefits there is no other point to think about any other alternative product.

I researched 100's of PMS systems and decided on Hotelogix. I was very impressed with the Breadth of functionality, front-end ease of use, and price. It seemed easy to setup and the support team helped out. However, now that we have been using the system for about 9 months, I've found several things that are concerning: - rate management is very complex, difficult to setup and not flexible enough. I gave up creating rates and let Hotelogix make all our changes. - quirky behavior - no ability to do waitlist, gift cards, SMS - no report writing capability (canned reports only) - no in-house guest list - not keeping up with changes in the industry. They focus on minutae and not on the big picture. - their web booking engine is confusing to guests about availability and does not show off extras/add-ons/inclusions. We're losing incremental revenue from not being able to highlight add-ons. - executives have been rude and don't respond to emails.

Hotelogix is one of the first hospitality software on the cloud. Over the last two years, I have been using this software I find that the company needs to add newest features & functionalities to its software to make it relevant in today's world. A hotel management software of PMS as its popularly known is essential for modern hotels to help it sell more rooms & improve occupancy. The PMS is a distribution platform which connects with major third party vendors like otas. Hotelogix does not provide direct distribution functionality and asks to tie up with an intermediary to sync rates & inventory with OTA's, etc. This increases the overall cost of ownership and is not required. Many newer entrants in this sector are providing direct connectivity. For smaller hotels, this is a very important reason to choose a PMS.

Be really carefully to subscribe it. Try it a lot and make sure it will fit good in your business before buy it. After this really bad experience I did a big research and I found many pms that works so much better and so easy to use. They need a improve a lot.

Horrible experience as the sales make me a big pressure to buy the product, I fortunelly didn’t agree with the anual subscription and he said it could be per month afterwords. After payed two months I just figure out it really does not fit in my business and after a big learning curve. After that I decide to quit but in the small words in the contract it says that I must pay 30 days more. I let them know about my bad experience and ask to not pay the third month without sucess. No way to deal with invoices. No options to manage different way of payment ( like splitting in 2 ou 3 times.) and finally nit friendly interface. Good for nerds!

Chat records indicate our sales team shared details when asked for. Since we were asked about 50% off promotion (it was only on our annual plan), our team gave details with validity. Consent was taken before sharing a payment link. There is no fine print in our sales contract that has 30-day notice period. When you let our team know you¿re not a hotel professional, have 4 rooms & are not really organized, our team supported with every piece of information requested ¿ from how our system allows login from any device to clarity on features like stock management, POS, channel connectivity & financial control. We offered 4-session training, an Account Manager & Customer Service Manager for further assistance. Our system manages types of invoices/payments & we enhance our system with features customers request for. It¿s unfortunate you found the system difficult to use & decided to discontinue in a month of purchase.Had you invested more time, we¿re sure it would¿ve helped your business

### "Hotelogix has faulty accounting practices"

We signed up with hotelogix in good faith. As time went on it we had to add this service or that. We are a very small company. We paid every invoice as it was sent to us. Seven months in they hit us with thousand dollars of back invoicing for their accounting mistakes. They would not let us space out or break up these charges with out shutting down our services. We paid them though we were in our first year as a small business. We started looking for a new booking engine and integrated with little hotelier in Sept. We alerted hotelogix that we would no longer be using their services. They charged us through automatic withdrawal from our account 2 days prior to invoicing was due for the month of Oct when we were ending services on Sept 30. No contract was ever signed. They are refusing to refund charges by saying there is a 30 day cancellation notice for services. This is not stated in any paper work or email I received from them, it has never been stated on any invoice sent from their company. It's really not the money. I have no issue with paying my bills it's the dishonesty. Back charging for mistakes by their accounting department, refusing to work with a small business in their first year of business, withdrawing funds day early from bank accounts, refusing to refund monies for services not delivered. Scumbag business practices.

Hello Erin It is unfortunate to know your disappointment with our accounting system. Your Hotel was signed up initially on zero plan from May 23, 2014 @ $80/month for the services of PMS, WEB service & Payment Gateway. You have then opted for enterprise plan with advance billing in the month of Dec'14 with an additional charge of $65/month. However, the billing was missed and the charge was not added to your billing which was clarified to you up front. This is an unintentional human error and the bills were later presented to you with a differential amount of $450.24 which you have agreed to pay. The billing was then corrected and the amount was auto charged by the system. As you are on advance billing plan, the bills for Oct were generated in the mid-month and sent to you on Sept 16th. As the billing due date is 10 days from the date of generated invoice it has auto charged on 24th Sept, 2015 after which we have received your cancellation. We deeply apologize for your experience.

I’ve used Hotelogix for 2 years. I like the overall functionality but can’t stand the people that work for Hotelogix. I get nothing but back-talk, ignore of requests and excuses. They are not customer focused and have their own agenda. The lack of communication with customers about upcoming releases is awful. They roll out new updates without telling customers. It’s a huge surprise when new features/big fixes come out and the software operates differently. It will leave your users confounded. It’s taken weeks or months after a release to get information from Hotelogix about what they added. If you have SOP or process Management in place, you can kiss that goodbye with Hotelogix

Pros

Good overall functionality but where lacking Hotelogix is unwilling to listen to feedback and suggestions.

Cons

No phone support; chat only. Rate/packages overly complicated to set up. No custom reports or ability to generate your own reports. Hotelogix will not customize reports for you. They do not listen to customer feedback and suggestions. I have been a customer almost 2 years and have never had any suggestions or feature requests added. They act like they know more than you. Their focus is on small weird functions that impact nobody

We have grown with them from 1 property to 400+ property now. The App has developed a lot in last 3 years and has also implemented and integrated many new tools and techniques.

Pros

Very basic tool yet consists of all the features that any PMS should have. Grid provides the clear picture of reservations. Night Audit and Correction mode keeps things under control.

Cons

Bit slow to load for Front Desk. There is nothing else to not like. Team has been helpful is takking away any issues that the tool had.

We are able to maintain the overall hotel data and even reports section provides each and every option which partner is referring to.

Pros

Hx is very compatible and user friendly Ease of access Every single function is designed in such a way that easy to understand and operate POS Items

Cons

Round off adjustment issue - Because of this it has caused many checkout and invoicing problems though it has been resolved now
