Projects are well organised, tasks can be assigned easily, and you maintain constant visibility over overall progress. I also make extensive use of filters and customised statuses, especially when managing multiple projects at the same time. Cons In a large organisation, it’s essential to have a clear view of what is in progress, what is blocked, and what requires validation, and Wrike responds well to this need. However, I believe a more visible and intelligent reminder system (such as priority alerts or automatic highlighting of critical tasks) would be a real improvement, as otherwise we sometimes have to rely on additional tools to make sure nothing is missed. My team and I have never felt the need to create written tutorials on how to use it, because it's so easy to use and understand. The interface makes everything clear to see, and simple to navigate. Pros The Wrike Team consistently work hard to keep Wrike up to date and inline with user's expectations and requests. Forums are set up so users can discuss the best ways of working, or for help of how to do something. If it's not possible, the Wrike Team will explore how the software can adapt to best suit its customers needs. Cons As a Design department, we have a visual-heavy set-up. It seems the majority of other user's experiences are from a different perspective, so their set-up and ways of working vary from ours. I do wish it had better integration with Google Suite tools, in a growing virtual and remote environment it feels critical that they figure out how to sync with cloud tools in a more seamless way, but overall very happy with our experience Pros There are so many different ways to organize, view and process information in Wrike, so it works well for many learner types. The amount of customization once you really know how to use the tool is vast, so once you invest the time to get over the learning curve you can really run with it. Cons The learning curve is steep, and we've found that just providing the training videos to our new hires during onboarding is not sufficient. We have to create dedicated, days-long workshops to teach staff how to use it. Wrike made it easier to report accurately on our progress. Cons On occasion, updates didn't seem to process in real time. There appeared to be a lag in notifications, though not by much. It provides a robust set of features, such as task management, project scheduling, resource allocation, time tracking, and collaboration tools, to streamline team projects and workflows. Cons Some of the reporting features could be improved upon. The formatting of reports saved to PDF isn't always aligned.
