### "A flexible and user-friendly platform that’s boosted planning and ownership"

August 1, 2025

4.0

Overall, Wrike has added a lot of value to how we work – particularly around planning, accountability, and making work more visible. It’s helped shift mindsets, encouraging people to take more ownership of their tasks and better understand how their work connects with others. With continued enhancements – especially more AI-powered suggestions and automations – I can see it becoming even more impactful.

Pros

Wrike is easy to get started with, and its flexibility makes it a powerful tool for different teams and workflows. The ability to personalise dashboards and reports means we can build views that really work for us – both at an individual and team level. The interface is intuitive, and the templates save time and help embed consistency. Since rolling it out, we've seen clear improvements in visibility, ownership, and cross-functional alignment.

Cons

The downside of such a customisable tool is that it can be difficult to know the best way to set things up. There's a bit of trial and error, and without dedicated live support for all users, it sometimes slows down progress when people get stuck. The help guides and resources are solid, but finding the right answer quickly isn’t always straightforward given the breadth of what’s possible in Wrike. As with many platforms like this, the balance between agility and ease of use can be a challenge.

### "Wrike Just Might Be Right!"

March 23, 2026

4.0

Overall I think Wrike is a very powerful and useful program that would appeal to many businesses and project managers. I've never experienced bugs or glitches like similar apps and is my preferred choice despite the initial difficulty in learning how to properly use and navigate.

Pros

Wrike allows you to fully customize it's dashboard in ways other products and apps do not. It makes project tracking and progress monitoring very easy and is visually satisfying.

Cons

The learning curve for Wrike is pretty steep and it took considerable time to get my bearings and get comfortable while using the platform.

### "Wrike is what keeps our marketing workflow sane!"

October 29, 2025

4.0

I think Wrike is amazing once it's set up. I have to admit the initial onboarding can feel a bit overwhelming for new team members. It’s so powerful that there’s definitely a steep learning curve.

Pros

I love Wrike! I really love that we can build custom workflows for all of our clients, it makes juggling all our projects from start to finish, much easier to manage. The built-in proofing feature is something we just implemented, and it helps us get faster feedback on all our creative. It has cut down on going back and forth with clients for approval in long email threads.

Cons

I wish there were more features for AI automation overall. Also, I wish we had Wrike whiteboard included in our business account rather than needing to have the Klaxoon add-on. I wish the sticky-note widgets in dashboards had more capabilities, like emojis and being able to tag a specific wrike task directly in the note rather than just showing the wrike URL.

### "The Goodness in Wrike"

August 27, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Wrike has been a positive one regarding the fact that it turns down all the alternatives that I try to plan, track and manage tasks with.

Pros

Wrike is the most robust project portfolio management tool that I have ever tried. It was easy to implement and use. I like the fact that it saves time by automating workflow during time tracking and project management.

Cons

Apart from lack of offline access feature, I have nothing else that I dislike when using Wrike to streamline PPM processes.

### "A Clearer View of Complex Work"

July 16, 2025

5.0

As a Project/Program Manager overseeing multiple cross-functional initiatives, Wrike has become an essential part of how I operate day-to-day. It gives me the high-level visibility I need while still allowing deep dives into individual programs, tasks, and timelines. I rely on it to simplify complex workflows, align stakeholders, and keep momentum moving across teams. Wrike brings structure to complexity. It’s powerful, adaptable, and keeps everyone focused on the right next step. For someone managing multiple programs, it’s more than a project management tool... it’s how I stay in control of the big picture and the small details.

Pros

\-Real-time visibility into multiple projects and programs -Custom fields and workflows that fit our team's exact needs -Flexible structure for nesting tasks and organizing large initiatives -Helps simplify and streamline reporting and collaboration -Great for cross-team transparency and ownership clarity I value seeing multiple projects and task updates in one place, especially in real-time. Wrike’s dashboards, Gantt charts, and reports let me stay on top of fast-moving initiatives and manage overlapping priorities critical in my role overseeing multiple programs and special projects. I appreciate the ability to tailor workspaces, statuses, and fields to match my team's specific operational needs, whether it’s organizing product specific programs, Consulting Services, or managing special initiatives from leadership. I rely on Wrike to bring visibility across our Account Management Operations team and partner functions. The tool helps me keep project managers, team leads, and stakeholders aligned, particularly when I'm consolidating spaces, updating ownership, or simplifying reporting structures.

Cons

\-Can feel overwhelming for new users without proper onboarding -Occasional limitations in dashboard filtering or reporting nuance

### "Wrike: The Clear Choice!"

July 11, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Wrike has been positive! Our team was tasked with migrating to a new project management platform, and we evaluated a dozen different applications. After several weeks of narrowing down our options, Wrike stood out as the top choice due to its ease of use and the down-to-earth, friendly nature of its staff.

Pros

What I like most about Wrike is how easy it is to get started compared to other project management applications. Wrike is intuitive and simple to administer, which makes user adoption seamless.

Cons

User administration is pretty straightforward. All user activity data is exportable; however, it would be helpful to have a simple dashboard or report for viewing user usage at a glance.

Reason for choosing Wrike

We chose Wrike over the alternative projects due to Wrike's simplicity, ease of use, and cost.

### "Customizable with some effort"

July 14, 2025

4.0

It is good. Wrike is a powerful platform with extensive capabilities, but it comes with a steep learning curve and requires serious effort to get the most out of it. If your organization has the internal resources to set it up properly and ensure consistent usage across departments, Wrike will reward you with excellent visibility, better alignment, and increased efficiency. However, without this commitment, the tool can quickly become fragmented, underutilized, or frustrating – especially for teams who are less technically inclined. Wrike is not a plug-and-play solution.

Pros

Wrike is highly flexible and adapts well to customized workflows. The reporting and analytics features are robust and useful for keeping track of key project metrics. Its ability to tailor dashboards and automate task flows makes it a strong tool for complex or cross-functional project environments. For teams that work in structured processes, Wrike provides clarity and control.

Cons

If Wrike is not used company-wide, you run into major coordination issues. Extracting financial data, for example, requires API programming skills – this is not something an average user can do out of the box. Integration into existing IT infrastructure is complicated and requires significant technical effort. Support for these kinds of custom integrations is limited and mostly left to the user to figure out independently.

### "Warming up to Wrike "

October 24, 2025

4.0

At first, I was not a fan. It felt limited and not user friendly. As I have learned more about the features and dug deeper, it could be used more effectively in our business.

Pros

Wrike is working to stay on top of new features and options as technologies emerge. The views have become my favorite feature.

Cons

Wrike has several training videos, but it would be great to see a real use case. How are others using the feature, instead of a quick example of workflow management? Also, documentation on how or why something works. Something similar to open office hours or something to troubleshoot with other users.

### "Versatile Project & Task Management with Wrike "

July 14, 2025

4.0

I find Wrike to be one of the more adaptive and useful softwares available for managing projects and groups. As someone who manages multiple projects with different audiences, timetables, and needs - having the ability to stay in the same software and tailor my use of it to the skill level of the group I'm working with has been tremendously helpful in allowing me to keep things organized. I also have a lot of repetitive type tasks and the ability to map out a blueprint to replicate is such a time saver.

Pros

\-It's versatility to handle different needs/projects/tasks that I'm working on. -That I can share specific views and access with different audiences -Integration with Slack for notifications -Dashboard functionality -Customizable workflows

Cons

\-Not a con for Wrike but specific to my account, we have limitations on the ability to link Wrike with Tableau, which requires me to use a workaround to bring in Tableau data.

### "A Seamless Transition and Powerful Home for Our Daily Work"

June 30, 2025

5.0

Our team recently made the switch to Wrike, and even with a rapid deployment due to our previous subscription expiring, the transition has been remarkably smooth. This was primarily thanks to the guided training we received during our migration, which provided a strong foundation. Additionally, the numerous videos and tutorials available online allowed our team to get up to speed quickly and truly own the platform. Within just a few months, we're already building and managing robust projects and campaigns with ease. Wrike has quickly become our central hub for all project management activities. What's even better is that the adoption isn't just limited to our marketing and communications team; users outside our core group are also transitioning quickly and successfully. The features that have truly been a lifesaver for us are the automations and blueprints. These have significantly streamlined our workflows, saving us valuable time and ensuring consistency across our projects. We're still exploring the full potential of Wrike, particularly in terms of reporting, but we're excited about the possibilities. Overall, our team has been very happy in our new project management home. Wrike has proven to be an intuitive, powerful, and adaptable solution that has dramatically improved our efficiency and collaboration.

Pros

I love the user-friendliness and ease of use! The automations and blueprints are life-changing and have helped our team regain valuable time to complete the work.

Cons

Occasional slowness in the interface, as well as a tough time finding nested comments in the chats from time to time.

### "Order in the Chaos"

October 20, 2025

5.0

Wrike is a great software as long as someone learns the system in detail and champions how it gets organized from the beginning of the setup, and then maintains it throughout the course of its life. Keep order in the chaos of project management with many people involved.

Pros

Wrike is an excellent project management tool that helps teams stay organized and on schedule. The workflow automation and task dependencies ensure everyone knows what needs to be done and when. Real-time updates and notifications make it easy to track progress and prevent missed deadlines. The customizable dashboards provide clear visibility into timelines and priorities for each team member. Overall, Wrike’s workflow system keeps projects running smoothly and helps teams stay consistently on track.

Cons

Wrike can be overly complicated and difficult to learn for new users. The interface often feels cluttered, making it hard to find specific tasks or features quickly. It can also be slow or glitchy when handling large projects with many users. Additionally, the cost can be high compared to other project management tools that offer similar functionality.

### "Effective and Scalable Tool -- Annoying but Works!"

June 12, 2025

3.0

Overall, my experience with Wrike has been mostly positive. It has become the universal software at my company and it has integrated well. There are some really annoying QOL aspects that make me want to swallow my mouse, but most days it does the job well. I think the collaborative features, the various views, and the ability to nest and set reminders are great tools that set Wrike apart. Not my preferred option, but it is functional and scaleable.

Pros

I like the layout and overall feel of the product and UX. I think the integrations with Microsoft Teams and notifications systems work really well. I enjoy the various views, I think the Gannt chart is one of the better versions of this view from Wrike. Calendar works really well and is better integrated than other PJM tools. Corporately the request forms work really well for IT, Marketing, and HR. Our team has been slowly moving away from an internal product and the undertaking overall has been very positive.

Cons

Filters. Filtering options are limiting and annoying. Completed tasks do not ever go away. You have to filter them out, but on hold tasks are considered deferred and therefore not active so you remove the ability to see what's on hold but not completed. JUST REMOVE COMPLETED TASKS! I have experience a number of issues with the desktop version of the app -- crashes, slow downs, and error codes.

### "Wrike keeps our team organized and on-track, although there is a bit of a learning curve."

July 14, 2025

4.0

Our creative team can more easily track completed tasks and arrange by date ranges to be more accurate with our timing. With Wrike, we have less channels we need to communicate on so less things fall through the cracks. The calendar view lets the team see into all live, planned, and scheduled campaigns to keep launches successful.

Pros

Wrike dashboards help us see into the full team's scope of work so we can properly set expectations for turnaround times. The automation tools help us take the manual load off our plates so we can work more efficiently. Also Wrike's blueprints help us to ensure no task gets missed on a new campaign when there are so many items involved in a successful launch.

Cons

Navigating Wrike has proved tricky for some of our team member's. The sheer amount of capability Wrike has to offer can be overwhelming, it's hard to know what all there is to offer and how best to properly utilize the tool.

Switched from

[Basecamp](https://www.capterra.com/p/56808/Basecamp/)

The features and automations in Wrike definitely overshadow the previous tools I've used. Basecamp was actually very hard to navigate and wasn't super intuitive. I also felt it lacked functionality in comparison to Wrike. It was hard to find what you needed in Basecamp and the asset management was clunky.

### "It was right to chose WRIKE!"

July 11, 2025

I enjoy my experience with Wrike. Not only do I love the product but I also enjoy the community as there is tons of support along with beta testing available.

Pros

There are many features I like about Wrike. The ones I like the most are the dashboards, blueprints, request forms and new AI features.

Cons

There aren't many things I dislike about Wrike but if I need to pick something, I would say the ability to work with outside emailing. This could be more my lack of understanding though.

Reason for choosing Wrike

Overall, Wrike is reliable and efficient for corporate project management, especially if you value a clean and organized interface, but improvements in integrations would make it even more powerful.

Pros

I have been using Wrike for a long time in a corporate setting, and overall, it has proven to be a solid project management tool. ### "Highly Recommend Wrike!"

April 4, 2025

Overall, I love Wrike. It has so many great features and capabilities - time logging, reporting, task dependencies, status changes, automation, request forms...the list goes on and on. I truly think it can be helpful to any team, as long as team members are willing to learn and get used to using it every day!

Pros

I love how customizable it is. There are so many different views and functionalities, allowing you to truly tailor it to your personal needs/preferences.

Cons

Honestly, Wrike is really great. If I were being picky, I wish there were a few more automatic functions, such as (1) a timelog for all projects and tasks across all spaces, (2) an easy archive option (rather than setting up automations for everything or using filters), and (3) a default time option of "This Year".
