Does the bare minimum for us. The reporting and features are way behind other similarly priced products.

Pros

It was what our accountants recommended. Pretty reliable once it was setup. The accountant teams were able to get it running quickly.

Cons

It has had issues since the beginning that were never resolved. It costs a lot and the cost keeps getting higher every year.

The Inventory module could be much better, If you had a better inventory module Intacct would be the perfect product.

Overall experience with Sage Intacct has been very beneficial for our organization. I don't think we are even using it at full capacity as there is so much it can do.

Pros

Searching for invoices and payments is very easy and quick. The Help & Support section is very useful for understanding how to do something.

Cons

Some errors cannot be easily reclassified, and a journal entry is required instead in order to correct.

I have used Sage 50 for several years prior to using Sage Intacct. I definitely prefer the additional functionality and capabilities of Sage Intacct to that of 50. I would like to see more training available to users.

Pros

Some of the most likeable pros with Sage Intacct are the cloud access anywhere without VPNs or desktop installs, the growing automation technology being offered and the potential of the dashboard capabilities.

Cons

There is functionality that is difficult to find or know about. Then when it is found there is typically several steps to set up access and/or turning on functionality.

Overall Sage has been a great solution for us and I would make the same decision again. It is a flexible and expandable platform that can be adjusted to meet evolving business needs.

Pros

The implementation process was fantastic and very well organized. Day to day administration of the software is easy because of the quality of the written documentation. We have found Intacct to have the flexibility we need to adjust to our business growing and changing over time. A big piece of this is the large number of marketplace partners providing third party solutions to expand Intacct.

Cons

The most difficult things in Intacct has been the customer report writer. The stock reports are well done and are a good starting point for creating your own reports but when a more customized solutions is needed the custom report writer is where you need to go. The good news is that the custom report writer is very well featured and you can pull just about anything you want to with it. The trade off is that it is very complicated and writing the report and doing the necessary tweaks is very time consuming.

Our company's overall experience has been pretty great. We had some bumps in the road when it was first implemented. We weren't as knowledgeable as we thought, but we learned.

Pros

The drill down capability is wonderful. The ability to take a report, save it and customize it helps us tremendously.

Cons

There are some data fields that I have been unable to locate in the past when trying to create a report.

Good, but could be better with more training and support. I wish I had more support to set up my own reports.

Integration with Cargas. Alot of reporting tools. We are able to log in anywhere since it is cloud based.

Cons

It is very hard to set up reports. I am not able to select specific dates to run reports. I have tried to set up reports but not too successful

I implemented Sage Intacct in 2019 and had an incredible experience with Act Two & Sage partnership during that time. Pros

The product itself is robust, able to build high level outputs/reporting/Dashboards as well as granular level down to account/cost center. Also dimension functionality and customer support with \[sensitive content hidden\] is outstanding and a reason we remain with Sage.

Cons

Fixed Asset module is limited and clunky. The Fixed Asset reporting availability and export feature from screen or module to excel is limited.

I love using Sage Intacct, it's easy to use. The most I like using Sage Intacct is the A/P upload, it saves time for me a lot. and so far, it is really doing good for me. I would highly recommend it to any small or medium size company.

Pros

Easy to use at all. All the modules that we use are easy to use. The Upload for A/P is working great for me, I think with the help of AI, everything seems to be better now.

Cons

Certain reports you cannot filter down or modify. At the beginning of using upload for A/P, it was an issue, nothing is correct, wrong location code, department. and GL code.
