Pros I love the ease of use with the platform. Everything in one place makes everything so easy. One platform covers everything! Cons There is not much not to like about it. It is very quick to clock into shifts and go back and check my hours. Pros The best thing about Workday is the ease of use. It is very easy to operate, and the menu is simple to navigate. I joined the company and resigned using it. It was the standardized tool and helped me navigate corporate life easily. Pros The in depth FAQ and support was good, it was easy to navigate and covered all features, including employment period, payslips, all under one site. Cons Even though all functionalities were covered by workday, sometimes due to mismatch of wordings (like the paygrade levels), companies would use external software or at times would have to explain the things on workday once more in person. The interface was intuitive and it had notifications to elt me know when there was a completed lesson for the learning section. Never had any major issues signing up for or attending these lessons. Pros Great learning classes for understanding day to day operations or specific lessons. It was super easy to learn with videos and powerpoints to handle a Senior CSR role. Cons Nothing in particular stands out as an awful elemtn. Perhaps it could categoriuze more useful portions together like the lessons and less common sections like the birthdays in another area? I like that most of what I need to find is in one place. Pros It's easy to navigate to where I want to go (pay, time off, etc.) Cons Having to toggle between certain things has too many clicks. Like requesting time off, for example, I have to manually enter several inputs to get the output I want, and it never saves. Moving to Workday was a big improvement from our previous HR system where we had an account per country, totalling to over 10 accounts. I would say there is a steep learning curve in the beginning as an Admin and even for employees. And the training and certificates are overpriced so I have had to learn how to configure/use Workday through other mediums. Pros It can be used globally. The user interface and usability is easy to understand (similar to Facebook's interface), the ability to customize, the different modules and features it supports. The tool is always evolving as the company has 2 releases every year. Cons It is created for the US by the US. From what I experienced, because it is so simple, it makes training others on it very easy. Pros As a user of workday, I like how simple the interface is. It is intuitive to new users, and makes navigating the site easy. Cons The way our IT department has it set up we cannot access the site off site. Not to mention the UI is easy to navigate making it a better time for employees and employers. Cons What I like least about Workday HCM is that setting it up can be time consuming and resource intensive. Also while Workday offers flexibility, certain customizations require technical expertise which isn't very user friendly of Workday.
