Pros

I have used Workday for applying jobs internally, referrals and finally, for mid year and year end reviews (phew), so far I have like the platform, its not too complicated.

Cons

One of the biggest con I had with them was not having an auto save functionality. You see Year end reviews require us spending precious time and effort into writing them out, think of a scenario where your manager pinged you while writing and you spent 5 mins away and later come back to see the session timed out without saving your thoughts?!!!!!!!!!! That was the biggest cons, but they have fixed it recently, so I am a super happy user. (yayy!)

Its a one stop tool for everything - managing absences, payroll, performance reviews, learnings, team management, reporting

Cons

It would be wonderfull if it could have integrations with other timesheet entry tools like Clarizen, Beeline. This would help managing the reconciliation of vacation and time-offs for the employees in an automated fashion

Easy to use, quick login and my information felt quite secure.

Would log me out occasionally, or would have to call to get password reset.

Workday works great with organizing performance reviews and tracking compensation. The ease of access for paystubs etc. is manageable. I just wish they would make the PTO section more user friendly and have it accurately distribute the PTO you request and reflect those balances correctly.

Pros

Being able to quickly download tax documents and pay slips. Managing performance reviews and talent performance is relatively easy, you have to get used to the interface of the software. My main sell point is ease of access to pay history and performance reviews.

Cons

There is not much to dislike about it from an associate standpoint. However I have heard things about recruiting being difficult to maneuver. Also when PTO is requested off, it doesn't not subtract from your total PTO available when when it is requested to be used. Onboarding is basically non-existent after you enter your personal info. This may be just at my organization but the onboarding feature is basically useless.

Overall my experience with Workday has been great. It makes tracking payroll, time management, and benefits easier for managers and employees. Once you get used to it, it's a very helpful tool. I would like to see it get faster in the future, and maybe simplify the reports to be more readable by non HR professionals.

Pros

The design is clean, and easy to use, making it easy to find what I need. I like the fact that I can perform tasks on my desktop or phone, this come in very handy when traveling. Features like tracking time off, viewing my pay stub, and managing my team are all in one spot saving me time.

Cons

Sometimes the system is slow. Finding certain reports and understanding them can be cumbersome for me, because I'm not familiar with HR tools as a manager of people.

The search fucntion is not intuitive and some times you spend some time looking for the things you want if you're not familiar with it. Not all functions are on teams so you still need to go to workday and use all the functionalities.

A good product with an ability to keep users from navigating away from the platform in order to complete their work. Can be enhanced to allow for better intuitive user interface.

Pros

The ability to manage human capital from within the platform, manage their time-offs and talent development plans without navigating off the screen.

Cons

The UI is clunky and spread out. It is not intuitive enough for the employee and managers to understand what needs to be done. A training is often required.

Workday's strategy to build a simple and highly configurable product that is relatively simple to maintain on a low training level makes it an exceptionally adequate product. Their blockchain strategy for the future is an exceptionally promising concept. Example: Basically once locked in i.e. a formal background check can be locked in, and for future chchecks one would only need to update the gap since the last check, this can make the whole process very efficient and effective putting way less strain on employment checks, less external agency cost and so forth.

Pros

it's exceptionally well built for user configuration with it's highly flexible drag and drop customisation "out of the box"

Cons

it can be very "click heavy" to complete a workflow and having two browser windowns open with workday at the same time can cause glitching.
