It\`s the best system in the HR function I\`ve worked with. I\`ve worked with SAP, SF, PeeopleSoft. Greenhouse.

Pros

It\`s flexible, easy language to understand and resourceful integration wise. Certifications have been upgraded and now it\`s simpler to become certified.

Cons

I believe there are some clear opportunities to enhance Global Mobility, International assignments and Onboarding functionalities.

Haven't had many issues, only sometimes it doesn't like to work with learnings in aspects of loading modules or confirming completion.

Pros

ease of use, simple to navigate most of the time. Timekeeping is very simple to use on it, though wish I could view schedules and corrections as a whole.

Cons

testing, the learning side likes to glitch out. as well as trying to put in schedules, a bit difficult to navigate putting in Teams scheduling. It's not easy to upload 1 whole schedule, so have to resort to adding one at a time.

Great resource to have as an Employee and a Supervisor to use for your team in tracking work hours/payroll, benefits, and PTO Requests.

Pros

Good detailed information on Payment information, benefits, job hub, and other details that are important to review consistently during the week on updates to employee's account information.

Cons

Sometimes have issues with getting updates on pending application status or details of pay range for jobs that are posted.

Great customer support. extremely user friendly. easy to configure and administer. strong reporting functionality

Cons

less customisable. Closed echo system where majority of control is with workday product team. lot of add on Skys required to explore full functionality

My overall experience has been quite positive. The feedback I hear from our end users is typically that it has been very helpful in managing their teams.

Pros

I like that anyone truly can learn to use Workday (from an HRIS perspective), but it does take years of training and learning the system. From a typical end user standpoint, it has proven helpful in data management.

Cons

The challenge of calc fields. I often spend hours upon hours trying to create a calc field, hoping it'll work.

I liked using Workday from the employee and employer perspective. I found that it was useful and easy to use.

Pros

I liked that Workday was very user friendly and fairly intuitive to use. Employees were able to pick it up and use it very easily which was nice that I did not have to train people on how to use it.

Cons

I can't say that there is anything in particular that I disliked about it. The most I could say is that the mobile app required a good internet connection to load and that could make using it while out difficult.

Having everything in one place such as: clock-in, pay stubs, hours worked, scheduling, time off requests etc

Cons

I found that from time to time the app would crash, not properly record clock-ins/outs or lunch breaks

I use Workday every day and I am 100% satisfied by it's functionality. From it's time clock uses to the way it organizes my pay and benefits information, I can wholeheartedly say that Workday is an excellent time tracking tool that all employers should consider using.

Pros

Workday makes clocking in and out of my shifts very easy! In addition to being an excellent time clock application, Workday also makes submitting PTO requests a breeze!

Cons

As a daily user of Workday, I can not think of a single thing I dislike about Workday. Workday was updated once which required me to relearn how to navigate the application, but that was a minor inconvenience.

Positive overall, it’s a one stop shop and allows the user to have a lot of information at their fingertips without having to engage support teams.

Pros

Really easy to use, sends user notifications via email and in the browser, and retains history of changes.

Cons

Sometimes it can be a bit opaque with little explanation of errors or reasons for not being able to proceed with a transaction.

### "Great HR Management Tool. Mobile App and UI Could Use Some Improvements"

Pros

Workday makes it easy to see your Payroll details, identify who you report to, and view contact information of your colleagues in the event you needed to contact them.

Cons

The UI sometimes uses jargon that is hard to understand and the site doesn't provide anything you can hover over to clarify what they are talking about. Also, the org chart could be better optimized for mobile. You often have to zoom out to see something and that part is not easy to do.

I started a job right when they transitioned to workday so I have found it very easy to learn and use compared to others

Pros

Workday puts everything in one place for me, and makes it so I only need to use one application for my job, schooling, and benefits

Cons

sometimes it is not always the most intuitive, such as doing expense reports and can be frustrating when a function aimed to make things easier isn't necessarily a good thing.

Pros

The ability to report on cross functional data sets like compensation, leaning, talent, and attrition.

Cons

The onboarding of report writing. It’s not talked about enough on how it takes time to learn. But once you know it it’s a game changer!

It's been great so far and has made viewing my time cards a breeze. I appreciate the ease of use for the benefits.

Pros

I like how the paystubs are so easy to view and also love the benefits layout and how easy it is. I haven't had an issues with bugs and it seems to work well for my company's management.

Cons

Nothing to report at this time. thank you for the product and I will let you know if anything pops up in the future. I would love for my company to allow access to the app though.

My overall experience with Workday HCM has been decent. I don’t have anything great, or negative to say but as a regular user of the platform there could be more to it that would improve the end user experience.

Pros

Workday is a great platform to reference internal documents when I have questions around my benefits, days off, and what events are going on related to my company throughout the world.

Cons

Workday HCM is a very straightforward platform at first glance, but there’s a lot of complicated details involved when you go beyond the surface for what should be an easy to use platform.

As a user, I have felt more connected with HR management, especially when they create a "ticket," and you can see what steps are taken to get my issue resolved. Kudos!

Pros

The ease of use for users to view multiple facets of their employment, including payroll, learning, benefits, and personal data.qq

Cons

Sometimes navigation is not very intuitive, and the learning curve can be steep. If you figure it out, the tools are very useful.

Ansich leicht zu bedienen. Aber dumm wie 10 Meter Feldweg. Das machen andere wesentlich besser! Ich empfehle den Einsatz von AI. Ferner ist ein Endkundensupport dringend angebracht.

Pros

Aus Sicht eines Kandidaten: es gibt Workday. Weitere Vorteile fallen mir nicht ein. Keine AI, die den Lebenslauf liest. Einmal eingegebene Texte und Daten muss man JEDESMAL erneut eingeben.

Cons

Man muss jedes Mal, trotz identischer Login Credentials, den gesamten Lebenslauf erneut eintippen. Workday merkt sich nichts. Und erst recht kann Workday Lebensläufe nicht extrahieren. Schonmal an AI gedacht? Keinerlei Enduser-Support. Das strotzt vor Arroganz (Wir sind ja sooooo toll!) Ich würde das meinen Bewerbern nicht zumuten.

Fantastic super easy and very delightful expierence that allows you to have everything in one place.

Pros

How smooth and fluid everything is. Very user friendly. Able to get help any time you need. Easily able to pull reports and make sure documentation is correct and up to date.

Cons

Sometimes how it files folders and important documents for end users can be frustrating. However that was my only issue.

Pros

very user friendly interface. very easy to understand and to navigate different menus and modules efficiently

delays in updates. when you needed to configure something it was like pulling teeth to get it done quickly.

I've worked with Workday HCM across a few organizations, and have seen it adopted across a few different methods. In some cases it was only benefits, and it was satisfactory. When it was the entire HCM system, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, Applicant Management, I did find the experience to be better than when the product was silo'd across different needs, and integrates were required with other Vendors. It seems to work best when it's the Sole HCM Platform, and I believe is specifically designed as such.

Pros

Workday did work well across a very large organization for needs like Payroll, Benefits Tracking, Benefits Enrollment, Performance Reviews and more. It's best fit for very large or complex organizations, and organizationally, is pretty prohibitive from smaller/mid sized companies from truly adapting and taking advantage.

Cons

The User Experience. it's very clunky and hard to navigate. As a user, there was difficulty even accessing the platform at points, which created uncertainty and frustrations. Depending on your need, if you use this platform for things like performance reviews, and benefits enrollment, it works well, but as a UI, is inferior to other companies/HCM management systems that allow for a more friendly experience. Since that's an important part of an HCM management system, I'd love to see improvements.

Positive experience overall. Excited about current AI capabilities and roadmap. The roadmap for Workday Student is particularly exciting.

Pros

Employee Self-Service, BPM and security framework. I particular like the Open Enrollment functionality on mobile app.

Cons

Sometimes you have to click on too many buttons to get things done as an end-user. They should work on improving usability.

Overall, it’s a good product that works well for our company and employees. It is relatively easy for most employees to use as well.

Pros

It works better than other products I’ve used in the past; most recently WorkForce Management, which was not a very user friendly product.

Cons

The UI can be clunky at times, cluttered with too many different apps. It could also be more straightforward to edit employee times and approve hours.

Pros

In Workday I can manage all my important work documents, PTO, salary, expenses with ease either from my phone or laptop. Important tasks are assigned to me and I get notified in Slack seamlessly.

Cons

Sometimes the mobile version feels a bit clunky and it's hard to find the right "tabs" when you don't exactly know where to find the information. No big issue though and overall love the platform!

I've been working in Workday HCM for 6 years. The first 3 as an HR Specialist and the last 3 as an HRIS Analyst configuring the system for our HR team.

Pros

Workday HCM makes HR tasks so much easier — I love how everything’s in one place and the interface is really intuitive. The self-service features save a ton of time, and the mobile app makes it easy to check pay or request time off anytime.

Cons

One thing I wish were better is how sometimes navigation feels a bit unintuitive in Workday HCM — simple tasks like finding the right leave field or switching between views can take more clicks than I’d expect.
