Overall, the features are good as compared to SAP SF, and Oracle Teleo. if someone is looking for bulk hiring and managing the data, and a single platform workday would be great.

### "Powerful All-in-One HR Platform with a Learning Curve"

April 19, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been positive. The platform offers a comprehensive, all-in-one solution for managing HR processes, which makes it convenient to handle everything from employee data to performance tracking in a single place. Its modern interface and self-service features help streamline everyday tasks and improve efficiency for both employees and managers. While there is a bit of a learning curve and some features can feel complex at times, the system’s reliability, real-time data access, and continuous updates make it a strong and effective tool for human capital management.

Pros

What I liked most about is its intuitive, modern interface combined with its all-in-one functionality. The system makes it easy for employees and managers to complete everyday tasks—like requesting time off, updating personal information, or accessing pay details—without needing extensive training. I also appreciated having HR, payroll, recruiting, and performance management all in one place, which streamlines processes and keeps everything consistent. The real-time reporting and analytics are especially valuable, providing quick access to up-to-date data for better decision-making. Overall, its cloud-based design, strong self-service features, and mobile accessibility make it a convenient and efficient solution for managing HR tasks.

Cons

What I liked least about is that, despite its modern design, some features can feel overly complex and unintuitive—especially when navigating deeper workflows or generating more advanced reports. The system’s customization options, while powerful, can also be overwhelming and often require specialized training or support to configure properly. Additionally, response times can occasionally lag, particularly during peak usage, and making small changes isn’t always as straightforward as it should be. Overall, while the platform is robust, there can be a learning curve and occasional inefficiencies that impact the user experience.

### "Caveat Emptor"

January 8, 2026

3.0

Workday was not designed for mid-size enterprise businesses. The service was lacking and the support from Workday, directly, was spotty.

Pros

Workday is a robust platform with exceptional features with a good look and feel for the end user along with a virtual sandbox to test updates before they go live.

Cons

I our case, customer support was through a third party as we were "not large enough to get support directly" through . That third party used a case system. Though we could assign a level of priority based on our needs, the third party could lessen the priority level causing excessive delays for immediate needs.

### "5stars for Workday"

February 18, 2026

5.0

I love using Workday. Easy user experience. You can track your time, plan vacation days with knowing what your PTO balance will be for the time you are requesting. Also, it makes your yearend reviews so much easier.

Pros

I like using Workday because of the ease of use from the app. It makes reporting my time at the end of the week so much easier than in the past that payroll is never delayed.

Cons

Sometimes when signing back into the app I may experience some bugs or issues. But honestly that may just be my cell phone service.

### "Powerful and scalable Solution to Everyday Business Processes"

April 24, 2026

5.0

offers a clean, modern interface and a unified platform for HR, payroll, and talent management, which simplifies many processes. Reporting and analytics are strong, with real-time data that’s useful for decision-making. However, the system can feel complex for new users, and certain workflows require multiple steps that aren’t always intuitive. Configuration flexibility is a plus, but it often requires experienced admins to manage effectively. Performance is generally reliable, though occasional slowdowns occur during peak usage. Overall, it’s a powerful and scalable solution, best suited for organizations willing to invest time in proper setup and training.

Pros

Seamless incorporation of utilization of product features in collaboration with payroll management software makes one-stop access a breeze.

Cons

I have not found anything yet that I am dissatisfied with in workday thus far. Every aspect of this application has been positive.

### "#1 for Company Employee Tracking System."

April 13, 2026

5.0

Rewarding, beneficial, user friendly, organized. I really think it has helped me stay on top of my pay and time off, for keeping track of my time available PTO and sick time. My merits and raises. My performance and goal all in one app. I love this.

Pros

It carries a lot of information that an individual would need right at there hands for pay tax elections. You time requesting office, leaves of absence. I really enjoy this tracking tool. I have used it for about 2 years now with my Employer R1. You can customize it and add learning as well and performance reviews and goal setting. It is a great way to track your employees and offer a very user friendly application for them as well to stay connected with all documents. I love the fact that it’s shod graphs of your team members and management and also your direct contact for support. You can complete many training and certificates through this application as well for job role management and staying up to date with clearances, certificates and government policies. I truly enjoy this application and think a lot of employer should use this to help there employees stay on top of thre time, benefits, notifications, goals, performance, job postings, certificates, testing. Requesting time off and all documents is very nice as well.

Cons

There is not much I do not enjoy about this app. I have not found anything to honestly complain about.

My overall experience with is amazing! I feel like it's easy to use and the customer support is amazing! It also makes my daily tasks so much easier since so much of my stuff is now found in one place.

Pros

My favorite thing about , is how everything is all in one place. The ease of use is amazing! There aren't any bugs or issues like I've experienced in the past with other applications.

Cons

My least favorite thing about is the fact that it is a bit more costly than others, but it is well worth it in my opinion.

### "Good for Associates"

April 15, 2026

5.0

Overall, a pleasant experience using workday as an associate and I would like to utilize this system at careers in the future.

Pros

This program is user friendly for both associates and managers. You are able to access your paystubs and pay rate as an associate and process payroll as a manager. HR is able to upload any important documents into a candidate's portal as well as any past work experience/certifications. Lots of organizations utilize Workday and it is seemingly good value. Not many bugs that have been noted. Customer support is helpful when making changes to your personal profile.

Cons

If there is not a stable internet connection, the app can be glitchy at times. When necessary, changes need to be made by an associate such as address or phone number, they have to go through administration which can delay this change from processing immediately.

### "Efficient and Reliable HR Management Platform for Large Organizations"

May 23, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with was very positive. As an ERC Sr. Associate at Amazon, I used the platform regularly to support employees with HR inquiries, payroll concerns, scheduling, and workforce management processes. The system was reliable, organized, and helped improve operational efficiency. It significantly reduced manual work and made employee support more streamlined. While there were occasional technical challenges, the overall functionality and ease of use made it a valuable HR management solution.

Pros

has a very user-friendly interface and is highly efficient for handling HR operations at scale. During my time as an ERC Sr. Associate at Amazon, it helped streamline employee data management, payroll support, attendance tracking, and case management. The platform integrates multiple HR functions into one system, making it easier to access employee records, process requests, and manage workforce operations efficiently. The reporting and analytics tools were also very useful for generating insights and supporting decision-making.

Cons

At times, the system could feel slow during peak usage hours, and certain workflows required multiple steps for simple tasks. Some updates or configuration changes also had a learning curve, especially for new users. In rare cases, there were synchronization or access-related issues that required technical support intervention.

### "Best HRIS at the moment with room for improvement for customer flexibility."

November 7, 2025

4.0

Overall is very good and useful with many possibilities. I really like the processes, integrations, and security management. Also I like the reguler updates on bugs and issues per data center where as HRIS specialist I can be informed and there are no surprises. I would prefer less window releases that can be layout omptimizations, but more updates based on customer suggestions from Community. Overall it is value for money, if reporting and matrix options can be enhanced. I would promote Workday as HRIS solution for more companies.

Pros

Not "boring" for end user kind of more playfull and fancy than other HRISs. For some modules it is very easy to use. And very useful on managing HR processes and can support almost all processes within the system.

Cons

Reporting, not clear on trended worker data source and not easy to combine data and data sources and not easy to make dashboards for higher management, often we need to go to powerbi solution which means exporting sensitive data. Also, there are security limitations with matrix organizations.

### "Workday HCM"

January 30, 2026

5.0

Workday has simplified our technology footprint at Loop. Previously we had several platforms operating in silos. Now we are fully integrated.

Pros

Ease of use, ability to configure to business needs, scalable, efficient, uptime. We use both HCM and Financials, so it is very valuable to have both under the same roof.

Cons

For smaller businesses with less business needs, it would be great to have a "lite" version with less rules.

### "Highly recommend Workday for all size companies and sectors"

January 2, 2026

5.0

Workday is super convenient and all-in-one. They occupy a good niche in HR management for internal employees and external applicants. I doubt any other software is up to par.

Pros

After starting at a new company, I found that Workday was excellent for onboarding task management. The requirements are itemized and quickly refresh once completed, helping me stay on task in a new environment that requires significant amounts of time for onboarding.

Cons

I'm still having some trouble using the organizational chart/tree lookup function. I think some training videos for this and other features would help a lot.

### "Improved product, good for employee feedback"

June 13, 2025

4.0

I'm glad that they've put time into improving their product over the last few years I have used it to make it a more enjoyable user experience.

Pros

Logging invoices is easier than the old system, the work flow is setup and easy to use. All in one capability for HR needs including ability to do goals, schedule company wide reminders, and provide employee feedback through Peakon.

Cons

The old software used to note save your goals and had trouble uploading, but they have fixed most of those bugs, so it is much easier to use now.

### "Public Safety/Law Enforcement Beware"

May 26, 2025

2.0

has significant incompatibilities with the public safety/law enforcement world. Transitioning to Workday has genuinely slowed our internal processes. For a more standard 9-5/40-hour work week field, it is quite possible that Workday fully meets the HCM needs with ease. That has simply not been the case for us.

Pros

Generally speaking, processes are fairly straightforward. Processes are logically set up -- the user is able to use the search function with what they need to accomplish, and can find what they're looking for with minimal effort/training.

Cons

Workday has limited capabilities for the public safety/law enforcement field. Firstly, personnel-related processes can only be completed one at a time. For example: if I have an employee evaluation pending for someone, I cannot simultaneously request to change their supervisor, move their "cost center," or request a merit change. Depending on the industry you work in, this may not matter. For public safety -- where change is the one true constant -- this makes life difficult. We have constant overlapping status changes that cannot be reflected as one task is at the mercy of another task being completed (which in itself is at the mercy of the entire chain of command "approving" any single status change). For payroll, Workday is not immediately compatible with a 24-hour, 365-day workplace (as is the case with public safety). We have had a buildout to patch with our scheduling software that has been in progress for literal years, and it is still being worked on -- there seems to be a new issue every pay period. As far as recruiting goes, applicants needing to create a new account for every company they apply to is both messy and inconvenient.

### "Reliable, All in One HR and ERP Platform"

January 30, 2026

5.0

The overall experience is dependable and straightforward. Regular users can quickly find what they need, whether that is checking pay details, updating tax documents, or submitting time off. Transactions process quickly and payroll accuracy is consistent, which builds trust in the system. For administrators, the automation and reporting tools reduce manual work and provide better visibility across the workforce. When properly configured, it can grow from a solid HR platform into a broader operational system that supports both people and financial data in one unified environment.

Pros

What stands out most is how everything is centralized in one place. Core HR tasks like payroll, time off requests, benefits, tax forms, and career information are all accessible without jumping between different systems. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, so routine actions take very little effort. Real time reporting and analytics make it easier for leaders to make informed decisions, and the built in workflows and role based permissions help keep processes consistent and compliant. It also connects well with other business tools, and with additional configuration it can expand beyond HR into a full ERP and financial platform. Overall, it removes a lot of friction from day to day work.

Cons

Some of the more advanced functionality is not fully available out of the box and requires upgrades or extra configuration to unlock its full potential. For larger or more complex organizations, the initial setup and customization can take time and careful planning before the system feels fully optimized.

### "Strong all-in-one HCM platform, but takes time to learn"

February 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been positive. It’s a powerful system that does a lot well, but it takes time to learn and set up properly. Once everything is configured and users are trained, it runs smoothly and supports a wide range of HR needs. I’d recommend it for mid-sized to large organizations that need strong reporting, structure, and scalability.

Pros

What I like most about is having everything in one place. Core HR, payroll, reporting, and talent data are all centralized, which makes day-to-day work much easier once you’re familiar with the system. The reporting tools are especially helpful and give good visibility into real-time data without needing to pull information from multiple systems. Workflows are consistent, and the platform feels very stable, especially for larger or more complex organizations.

Cons

Workday definitely has a learning curve. For new users, it can feel overwhelming at first, and some tasks that seem simple can take time to figure out. Making configuration changes usually requires someone with deeper system knowledge, which can slow things down. Support and implementation can also be expensive, so it’s not always the best fit for smaller teams.

### "Easy to use system"

March 30, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been positive. It’s a reliable and user-friendly system that makes it easier to manage everyday HR tasks. While there are a few areas that could be more streamlined, it generally helps improve efficiency and keeps everything organized in one place.

Pros

I like how easy is to use and navigate. Everything is in one place, which makes managing HR tasks much more convenient. The self-service features and real-time information also help save time and make day-to-day tasks more efficient.

Cons

Sometimes it can be a little difficult to find specific features, especially if you don’t use them often. Certain processes also feel more complicated than they need to be, and reporting can take some time to get used to.

### "Powerful and Supportive, With a Learning Curve"

August 15, 2025

4.0

I’m hooked. Workday keeps me curious and growing, and I can see myself staying in my HRIS career for a long time—or even working at Workday one day. The combination of capability and support has made the journey both challenging and genuinely rewarding.

Pros

The Ask‑an‑Expert service has been a game‑changer. They don’t just set things up for you—they show you how to do it yourself. That shifted my mindset from “Can Workday do XYZ?” to “What do I need Workday to do?” The learning investment up front increases value in reusable, scalable setups. I haven't noticed many bugs and issues. If there are, it's because I missed something in the setup.

Cons

The same flexibility that makes Workday so powerful also makes it complex. There’s a real learning curve, and it takes time and patience to understand how pieces fit together. The payoff is worth it, but you should plan for that ramp‑up.

### "Useful and Resourceful "

Overall experience is fairly great. I would rate it from four out of five as applications can become more developed. Wasn't able to find a Salesforce integration unless I missed it but would be nice to integrate with such enterprise tools as well as CRM integrations for full panel summary of everything like Tableau does.

Pros

I really enjoy Workdays user interface. It makes the process for payroll schedule submissions and career development reviews easier and well organized. The layout is perfect for reporting and HR management.

Cons

They don't have a dark mode option, everything is so bright on screen by default. Need more user options for employees to co create task list rather permissions.
