L. president Research Used the software for: 2+ years ### "A useful tool to liberate the space by making a thick book into an e -book" June 10, 2025 4.0 I have been using this product for more than four or five years. Of course, the recognition rate is not as perfect as the Google lens, but when we process a lot of content, there is no such software, so we will continue to subscribe this year. However, there is a regret that the recognition rate of things like brackets will be improved. Pros It is mainly used to scan a book in Korean and make it an e-book. It is easier to use because of less error than any other program. Even if you are graffiti in the book, you can erase it and edit it is very useful. It is an essential tool for eliminating and digitizing paper books that occupy a lot of space. Cons Books published in Korean are often used in other countries that are not used well in other countries. For example, these are symbols such as bumps, double labels, screens, and overlapping. These symbols are used in book titles, papers, and magazine names. It is often very inconvenient because it is often not aware of these things. Review Source CY Chahine Y. December 7, 2024 5.0 The interface is very user-friendly; there are plenty of editing functions; and as a not very tech-savvy person, I should admit that I had no trouble finding out what each tool does and how to change settings. Pros You can quickly and easily convert files into other formats without having to upload them somewhere online. I also like the fact that it allows you to edit PDF documents as they are, without the need for creating endless Word files, implementing changes and then converting them into new PDFs. Cons The OCR tool doesn't work as seamlessly for all the languages: the program makes many more mistakes when it comes to recognizing non-Latin character based languages, for example, Russian. Same thing for texts written in two, three, etc. columns: sometimes it merges two columns together and the resulting text makes no sense. Review Source VY Vishnu Y. Pros It is an excellent PDF editing tool that offers you an all-in-one PDF solution in one place. You can easily create, edit PDFs, or even convert your documents to PDF files. You can easily merge multiple PDFs into one PDF file or split a PDF document into multiple PDFs. Even you can compress them to a smaller size. May 22, 2024 5.0 Pros Software is easy to use and the pdf conversion and image recognition is pretty great. I compared it versus a few python algorithms and ABBYY performed better and with the advantage of creating a searchable file. Cons The Mac functionality is pretty basic. It would need to have more features. Conversion from pdf to txt is good, but it could be better: some documents that used special symbols weren’t properly converted for example. Not really happy about this. Pros I like the image copy and paste as the images are significantly better than Adobe Acrobat Pro, I like the conversion to a different format. I like the OCR repair of scanned pdf very much also. Cons Getting it re-upped. I have paid for the fee and have a receipt but still it isn't done. I still like the program but I hope the next version will be a step forward and not backward like version 16 was. Pros ABBYY FineReader PDF makes the best OCR when I have a project with many pages. The cropping function is also good. Cons I still use version 15 which simply is better.
