Overall I love MindBody! It is a great tool for booking classes, courses and for scheduling. I love that I can go to a day and see everyone's schedule or go to my schedule and see the week.

Pros

I love that our members have an app that is user friendly. We can make changes to classes easily and keep track of schedules of all staff easily.

Cons

I do wish we could send out class and course specific emails. There is only one option for confirmations for classes/courses.

### "Solid system for 17 years."

Overall, it was a positive experience. That's why it took us 17 years to replace it for our lesson program. We were an early adopter of Mindbody being client number 1695. The \[sensitive content hidden\], called me directly after receiving my RFI to discuss our needs. He thought our requirements were well thought out and it was worth it to him to fulfill 6 enhancement requests to bring us on as a client. 6 months later, when the enhancements were complete, we launched Mindbody to manage our lesson business. It truly was the best ROI of any other system we ever implemented, managing up to 900 lessons per week across two locations. It was only when we found really good software developed specifically for weekly recurring private music lessons were we willing to migrate away from Mindbody. By that time as well, Mindbody had gone public then taken over by private equity. With that, the stability, uptime, and customer support had begun to falter.

Pros

Very stable program we used for 17 years. Even though our music lesson business was not in it's vertical, we were able to adapt to it's functionality and configure it to meet most of our needs.

Cons

It's not designed for weekly recurring appointments like private music lessons. It's focus is on classes. Over the span of 17 years, very little development was done on the appointments side of the software as compared to the classes.

Our experience with Mindbody has been excellent. They are very quick to respond to our questions and I appreciate that someone from their team books a yearly review to go over our use of the software. We discuss how we are using the platform and revenue opportunities we might be missing.

Pros

I have found Mindbody easy to use and I appreciate their efforts to continuously improve their product.

Cons

We are currently very happy with all the features that we use with Mindbody- As a team we have no complaints!

Pros

Mindbody makes booking fitness and wellness classes easy! Great for discovering new studios, managing schedules, and staying consistent with workouts.

Cons

The app can be glitchy at times, with slow load speeds and confusing navigation. Some classes or prices aren’t always updated accurately.

Mind body capital, Customer support, ease of use, appointment management, employee management & features

Cons

More mind body capital more often, to long of a wait in between paying off capital loan, if there was an option as soon as capital loan is paid in full, you automatically get reviewed for another capital loan to help scale and grown the business faster

i wish the desktop experience was comparable to the app interface. It is more complicated than it should be to scheudle yourself, to book appointments and block out time.

Pros

I like the photos that help you conceptualize the services and offerings. I like that there are bios for practitioners and ratings and reviews you can see for classes before choosing one.

Cons

i think it could use a category for alternative healing modalities like reiki and energy work so users can find these options

As a relative newbie to all things Mindbody - i find the support wonderful when i call in and i love the follow up emails with more tips. The AI assistance is great just wish they could how to videos there sometimes

Pros

The ease of checking in our clients. The display is great for people with visual impairments. Would like the option to book into multiple same classes for a client (almost a button to book a certain number of the same class into the future).

Cons

I would love how to videos to learn Lead Management and Marketing Suite. I would like a quicker way to get back to the class or schedule window quicker ( last place where I was) from looking at a clients account and to also go from POS to the clients account after a sale - or have POS open in a new window

Overall it has been consistent. Credit card processing is expensive and it would be nice if MindBody customers got a better rate by staying with MindBody for so long.

Pros

It a fairly consistent product that is easy to use if you take the time to play within the system. Our staff feels the same, except when their are major changes and it takes them time to locate where things are

Cons

Do not love the new interface. Does not fit well with right hand side menu and calendar especially on ipad. Calendar for appointments is so small. Should be able to expand and retract the main menu bar on right hand side

Overall, I think it is a robust system for a multitude of business types. It would be better if there was a way to provide feature requests(which I have) that would provide improved client/business marketing options.

Pros

Customer support via live phone calls and follow up emails covering the topic of conversation with help articles. Availability to alpha test improvements is a plus.

Cons

The online Mindbody Help data base needs updating with better search results based on the search fields used. Too many off topic results are found that don't relate to the search terms. The user interface on the business side could use further improvement although the latest updates are generally better, with a couple of exceptions.

Mindbody has been a great for our business. It offers a comprehensive suite of tools that make it easy to manage class schedules, appointments, client bookings, and payments all in one place. The platform is especially helpful for automating repetitive tasks, allowing us to focus more on our clients. The interface is generally user-friendly, and the mobile app is a great bonus for both staff and clients. Having clients book online has freed up a lot of our time. It’s convenient for the client and the staff. On the downside, the pricing can be a bit high.

Pros

Mindbody has one of the easiest booking systems available, integrates payment processing, schedules and class customization is quick and easy, and the mobile app is great for doing things on the go.

Cons

Occasional lag in customer service and higher price point than other platforms. There can be a learning curve for some of the more advanced features.

Easy to use and work with. Support is great and 24/7. My clients rarely have an issue. I will never consider another platform as the ease of MINDBODY for me and my clients is too important.

Pros

A simple and effective system that gives myself and more importantly my clients an easy way to book into my studio.

Cons

The volume was of competitors to MINDBODY who think they can call me each week offering me something better. Impossible. MINDBODY is good.

I've be happy with the service overall. I had changed to another company at one time and went right back to Mindbody. Worked much more seamlessly and had more capabilities.

Pros

Customer support. Representatives are very helpful. Quick to respond and help walk through any issues.

Cons

As with any software, there are some limitations. No software perfectly can address every scenario or issue.

Cons

It is getting more expensive, but the value still outweighs the cost. They have many options for additional add-ons if you wish or you can do the basic services.

Mindbody is a very useful tool that we use every day at the gym that I work for. Their customer service is very helpful and insightful on the feature that this Product offers.

Pros

Ease of use. Can find members very easily. The reports are also very specific and good. You can tag clients and come back to them very easily, and that is a Feature that I use a lot in the Mind body Business app

Cons

There is no Apple Pay feature. Also, when adding clients, there is no option to swipe ID to cover a lot of the information in the new "Add clients" Screen.

I enjoy this product and it hasn't made me question whether to use a different management solution, this is the all in one package I was hoping for.

Pros

I enjoy the simplicity & ease of use. As a manager who has used MindBody with two different fitness companies, I have enjoyed being able to keep track of my staff's punch cards, their training sessions, group exercise, and all of our products in one place. Running reports is a lifesaver because it helps me drive business and understand trends for the fitness clubs I manage.

Cons

Some of the settings can get a little confusing at times, but support is always available so I never get stuck for long.

Not as user friendly as we'd like in addition needs some updates in the marketing/analytics realm in addition to be able to use gift certificates online.

I think it gives the studios a strong understanding of what is going on. The regime change has been something to get used to but the are puuting in great effort to change the system for the better

The pure power of the business analytic behind it. Yes, the interface is a little dated, but the power is enormous.

The dated feel to it and the rebuild is taking a long time. They are trying to bring the product into the AI age and it has had its speed bumps

Overall I have had a great experience with Mindbody. The only thing that bothered me was that I want to be able to use the texting reminders feature. With me being such a small company I am a sol Proprietor and support was never actually able to help me get this implemented over the many time we tried. You need a TIN in order to do this.

Pros

I like how easy the software is to use. I also like how Mindbody is one of the most well known platforms out there. I enjoy using all the features available such as sending news letters, setting up mailing lists etc. The payment processing is also very easy to use.

Cons

The price, you get alot of features but for a very small one person company its a little expensive. With that said, they do offer you all the training you will need which is extremely helpful.

I've used Mindbody for many years and still learning about features! I would love to see more features in reporting - I think Revenue by class report should allow multiple categories at one time, for example.

Pros

Class management, reporting features, client management are all strong features of Mindbody. I appreciate the segmentation of reports available.

Cons

Some reporting features are limited. In Marketing Suite, email feature is clunky and hard to use. It would be nice to see this feature developed more.

Mostly good. System does have a few restrictions I would love to see changed....like activation dates for clients purchases. Would be nice if administrator(me) could update an activation date

Pros

I'm very familiar with MindBody, so the ease of use works well for me. I've recently had a couple of good experiences with tech support though my most recent issue was unresolved and even the tech support person agreed it was an obvious mistake in your code.

Cons

I reported an issue with an absolute mistake in your code for enrollment restrictions where someone was obviously confused and coded it as if there are 12 days in a month...probably thinking 12 months in a year. As the result, any monthly memberships with less than unlimited allowed enrollments can only be restricted up to 12 days in a month. VERY obvious coding error. I haven't heard back about the fix for the obvious mistake and have no ide if it will be fixed. THis is a big problem for me because I recently created a monthly pricing option for more than 12 days in a month but less than unlimited and system won't stop clients from enrolling.

Pros

What I liked most about Mindbody is how easy it is to navigate through the system. The interface is intuitive, user-friendly, and makes it simple to find what you need quickly.

Cons

.With all of the recent updates, there really isn’t anything I dislike about Mindbody. The improvements have addressed previous pain points, so I don’t have any current concerns

Defintley serves our purpose in our type of business (golf simulators). Very user friendly and other than some long wait times for tech support they are responsive once you do get to talk to someone.

Pros

Ease of use and scheduling accountability is very good. The ability to move reservations and times around with ease is also very helpful for us.

Cons

Occasional confusion in online booking an appointment and charging guest but not giving the time on schedule.
