Pros There are many things related to budgeting that Questica gets right. I especially appreciate the ability to customize the software in way to best meet the needs of your organization. Cons Questica is continuously improving their offerings. The Performance Measures module isn't my favorite to use, but as a user of the software for more than 5 years, I can see how much work has been put into improving it. Review Source DR Debbie R. It's easy to balance the budget and the users find it very easy to use. Pros Timesaving for all users and finance. Keeps all the budget information in one spot and very easy to view and make necessary changes. Cons The save function seems to be a bit slow, and if you are using your lap top on a wifi connection it seems to stall and sometimes the save doesn't work. Reason for choosing Questica Budget We liked the look and feel of the product and it was evident our users would be extremely happy. Now they like budgeting and love the look and feel of Questica. It allows for more ownership, accountability, and transparency. Users can view up-to-date actual transactions, by way of integration with our accounting program, which wasn't available in our former budget environment. The system is user-friendly and intuitive; users are able to navigate it, create budgets, and pull reports with ease. Users are able to log in and enter their budgets with ease. The Users can then run reports to compare their prior year budget against their current budget and see their Year To Date Actuals!! Questica has reduced the time for me to prepare over 100 Excel spreadsheets with prior year budget and actuals and has eliminated linking errors and keying errors.
