Pros

Frankly, the customer support aspect of AssureHire is phenomenal. Our rep at AssureHire provides quick support and responses any customizations or tweaks to our process. It's been a phenomenal partnership, and we're huge fans of how user-friendly and customizable AssureHire is.

Cons

Integration with our ATS is a challenge for us.

Overall, my experience with AssureHire is a positive one. The customer service team is professional and responds to support requests quickly. Please overhaul your authorization form, specifically, when it comes to candidates in the Fargo, ND area and finding collection facilities, they get an error message each time. Also, please track pending drug tests better, specifically from third-party testers.

Pros

The quick customer service responses and the easy-to-use support request portal.

Cons

AssureHire doesn't do a good job tracking third-party drug test results.

AssureHire meets the expectations of a background screening company. The backgrounds come back in a timely manner, and they are accurate. We can see a daily list of where all of the candidates are in the process.

Cons

The drug screen and physical service they offer doesn't meet the expectations. It sometimes takes months to get the physical results back.

We have had exceptional customer service from day one starting with the demo of the product. After implementation, \[sensitive content hidden\] has been more than helpful setting up new packages, new users, and answering any quotations that we have.

Cons

We have no complaints so far, we are very happy with Assure hire. We demoed several other companies before deciding and Assure hire's customer service was/is unmatched.

Overall, AssureHire has been a much needed asset for screening employees, and the simple layout makes it easy for even the least experienced user to manage.

Pros

I love the how easy to use AssureHire is. Performing background checks has never been easier for us. The integration with our HCM system is greatly appreciated too.

Cons

I have experienced a few issues with attempting to log in. Sometimes it doesn’t recognize my username/email as a authorized account.

Great! Easy to navigate and understand and keeps me in compliance!

Pros

I like the short turn around time of it. I usually have to fill positions fast so I like that I can give supervisor's assurance that it will take between 2-3 days to clear. I also enjoy the integration with Paycor, the fact that it is easy to navigate, and the timely response from customer service.

Cons

I have only had 2-3 circumstances where I waited almost 1-2 months for a background to clear. But that was an out of state case so it may have been rare. Other than that no complaints. Also when employees get the invitation from Assure Hire it tells the candidate they need to give medical or credit information so that was odd. I have to find out about that.

Pros

I like the ease of access with Assurehire. I also like our CSM, \[sensitive content hidden\]. She is readily available to help with any questions or requests that I have. She makes the difference when it comes to vendors for background checks. I have never had this level of Customer Service with a vendor. She goes above and beyond helping us navigate different requirements that our clients need. She is the reason we stay with AssureHire.

Cons

When sending multiple invites to an employee, the generic emails all look the same so staff get confused easily.

Assure Hire is accessible on the customer service portal. \[sensitive content hidden\] is my CSM, and she is extremely responsive. If I need any clarification, it is provided within 24-48 hours.

Cons

The ETA's don't always get accurately updated. Sometime it feels like the candidate is sitting stagnate, and I have to be proactive and reach out for updates.

I wish I had a dedicated customer service rep I could call regularly. It is hard to explain myself each time.

Pros

I have used this for the second time. The first and this time has been good. The customer service team has been helpful and the response for our backgrounds are great.

Cons

It has been a little bumpy but over all it has been good. I with I had a person to call instead of a general line.

The introduction call/demo was straight and to the point. They delivered what they promised, and at the price they promised. The people were so cool and relatable too. Since switching to AssureHire, we've been very pleased.

Pros

I like the people, the product, the speed, and the price. All things AssureHire for us. We hire hundreds of employees annually. We've had all good experiences, and after over a year with them, you'd think we'd have something to say....even if only to make this review more believable.

Cons

It may sound like a really inflated review when I say "We have no concerns.", but my HR Generalist feels the same....and he'd be the one to know. We moved providers due to a lack of response, but have had nothing but good reviews since.

Very happy with the service they provide. Customer service is very professional, responsive, and attentive to our needs. Works great with our ATS system.

Pros

The user friendly platform, quick and timely turnover times for background checks, physical examination results, and great customer service.

Cons

There are some delays on results that require a follow up with customer service. Unless you are tracking periodically, the results will stay pending past the original expected date.

Pros

Easy to interact with from both the employer and the candidate side. Results are easy to understand. Interfaces with our HR System very easily. Support is easy to get in touch with and fast to reply.

Cons

We have noticed some changes in the quality of response we get from support now that Mitratech is involved. Almost like there's a quota or a time limit or something that they have for interactions. Not necessarily bad, support responses are not as personable and seem more rushed than before the merger.

Id suggest adding in a mechanism to verify title along with employment confirmation (W2) when the employer cant be reached. This would help with fraud which is becoming more and more prominent in the Clinical Research Associate position we hire for frequently.

My rep at Assurehire, \[sensitive content hidden\] has gone above and beyond to help us us achieve our many customizations that have been needed over the last 6 months. She is most helpful.

Pros

Very thorough background checks and they are up on all the legalities involved with different states, i.e. NY

Cons

The drug testing component. There is a disconnect between the labs and Assurehire getting the drug results and updating the background report in a timely manner. I have to continuously submit tickets or call for updates. Also, not enough In-Network labs in close proximity to our many locations that can complete the drug tests needed but Assurehire is working on this.

I have loved it thus far. Everything works well and it's very user friendly. It's also very versatile and customizable in the different services they provide.

Pros

The ease and speed of which we got set up with AssureHire and making any updates to our packages. The turnaround time is also much quicker than the company we were previously using.

Cons

Some of the checks, primarily employment verification, seems to be difficult to get results. Which is more on the companies that they are getting the verification from.

Pros

AssureHire was the most responsive of the companies we contacted for a demo, and they've kept up the communication by checking in periodically and helping us whenever we hit a snag or need a question answered. The cost was similar to other systems but we're very happy with the level of customer support that they have offered, as well as the ease of using the system itself. Most BG checks for us come back within 24 hours, and the platform is straightforward and easy to use, even for beginners. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been our rep since the beginning and we're very happy with our choice. AssureHire has been great!

Cons

We use Paycor as our HRIS and I wish the integration were a tiny bit smoother, but it's a minor point. Everything so far has been solid and an A+.

Pros

I like the ease of initiating a background check and drug screen with AssureHire as it integrates nicely with our ATS. Turn around time for certain things is very quick

Cons

The platform itself could use some updates/upgrades, more control for the client. It's frustrating to have to open a ticket each time a drug screen comes back diluted or we need to extend. There are drop downs on the platform for resending it, but seems every time they are used, it still requires a ticket to get things reset properly.
