Is so easy to work with for the tenant rental management handling rent collection the value and prices for the service is great when we are having a issues or bugs we call customer service and the help us quick and efficient.

there is nothing that i dislike about the rent manager until now always had my problems fix very quick with them.

My overall experience with Rent Manager has been awesome. The program is crucial to my every day operations.

Pros

Rent Manager is the most detailed and customizable program available to our industry. The customer service is always on point as well.

Cons

I don't necessarily have a cons list for Rent Manager. Would love for them to bring back history recorded calls, though.

I had ONLY worked with rent Manager in the past and didn't know much about the other products available. I participated in demos and I didn't care for them.

Helps me keep track of rent payments, delinquencies, and my income/expenses in great detail. I use Rent Manager to email tenants rather than Gmail or any other mail service.

Pros

Easy to navigate and it meets all of my needs. Reports are easy and customizable. The amount of information I can retrieve is so helpful in keeping track of my business.

Cons

Can't think of anything I don't like about Rent Manager. The forums are very active and improvements are always in progress.

Pros

Customer support and ease of use. I also like the training program that the Rent Manager provides for free.

Cons

There is nothing that I don't like at this point. I have not used it long enough to find anything I don't like.

It's been a horrible experience. Their staff is awful. Their product is awful. They hide the constant extra costs from you, but some of them are basically mandatory like the training program. If you don't use all your implementation hours before your "launch," they just take them even though it's what you paid for, even though you likely still need them. They just would rather take the money. We will not be renewing this contract.

Pros

There's nothing to like about Rent Manager. I suppose if I had to choose something I would say I'm glad we can text and email within it BUT the filtering function is NOT great for that either.

Cons

We were sold on this product by an EXCELLENT sales team, but if you prefer NOT to burn your money, buy something else. Their customer support is clueless and half the time they just tell you they'll suggest what you need to development as a change to the program even though that change is BASIC COMMON SENSE and no other software functions in such a stupid way (like that you literally can't print checks in number order--it randomizes them). It is not user-friendly. It is not intuitive. My staff struggles every single day. Deposits are taking me EASILY four times as long as before we had this program.

Always very pleasant, even when things aren't working I know their support team will be able to assist me with any issues or questions I have.

Pros

RentManager has been great for our company with many options for user customization and allows us to increase efficiency across the portfolio. Their support team is always extremely helpful and resolves any issues or questions we have very quickly. A++

Cons

I wish RM Express had all the capabilities of RM12 but it's slowly gaining more and more so this isn't a major issue.

Very positive! I have the perfect system to support our business as we hope to grow our property management and investment portfolio.

Pros

The massive amount of capabilities Rent Manager provides, yet built on an accounting base. I have become my accountant’s favorite client. In networking meetings with my peers in the region, they talk about the need for multiple tools they use for their various needs. My input to them is that Rent Manager does that… it does that too… and so on…

Cons

Building the automation/linked info in letter and marketing templates. I have a very difficult time with those.

\[sensitive content hidden\] was so patient and knowledgeable during the implementation process. Every person I had an interaction with during the process was friendly, and ready to help. Best experience I've had when setting up a new system!

Pros

Rent Manager is VERY user friendly. Switching to Rent Manager will save me so much time and money (plus my sanity!) compared to the previous software system.

Cons

I don't have any cons at this point. Rent Manager is easy to use, the support during the transition \[sensitive content hidden\] has been very helpful.

Bit of a longer learning curve to get started just because of the myriad of features available for use. Once we got it customized to our needs it runs very smoothly for our company.

Pros

Highly adaptable to individual company needs. Easy to create workflow checklists and assign them to employees. These checklists can even include instructions for completing each individual tasks as well as links to off platform videos ( think google drive, Loom and Youtube) for walkthroughs of more difficult tasks

Cons

Wish there was a way to back up data into a non-RM platform file that can easily be reviewed outside of RM. Only backups we are aware of are data sets that can only be viewed inside of the RM platform

Inspection Reports cannot be Included in Report Batches and there's no ability to rename system reports
