May 22, 2025 5.0 The reimagined plan that was suggested to us, while a slight bit more than we paid previously, now includes Constant Contact who Donor Perfect is partnering with, and so in fact, we are saving some money in the long run!! Pros I really appreciate the ease of individual or batch donor entry, and the report builder is easy to use and gives us a great variety of data about individuals and events. Cons Honestly, I can't think of anything major! If I were to be picky, occasionally I'll do a search, and the search engine seems to miss a possible match. Review Source BF Ben F. Drag N Drop form builders are my favorite features. Phone and chat support was been really great as well. Pros Great system, rich in features and capabilities. So easy to start campaigns, create forms, and launch a campaign. We were already using Constant Contact so it make sending emails seamless. Cons Onboarding wasn't so great. Would be great to have more hands in experience as you get started. I had some issues importing data with not ideal work arounds. Pros We use DonorPerfect Website Forms for all our online giving. The process is seamless with our QuickBooks software and integrates with our constant contact account for easy email campaigns. Cons Segmenting Data and pulling reports can be clunky and the limited amount of dashboards makes it a bit harder to get quick looks at data in real time. Review Source MS Marian S. Yes, it was a simple program that only produced tax receipts. Pros We can accept donations on our website with our donors using a credit card. We don't have this feature in our location. Cons Reports are difficult to set up quickly. Very confusing to have to set up templates and figure out what needs to go in. While the system was used by several locations it was very difficult to get data specific to my local operations. Pros Quite frankly I did not find anything in the program that I liked. While it seem to promise a lot of customization I was never successful in using the bells and whistles. Cons Reports were very difficult to get out of the system Dashboard did not work in such a way that was helpful. The system had too many options making it difficult to use for small organizations. Your reps always follow through with questions and concerns and are a delight to work with. Pros Their overall company is fantastic! Calling in for help is always very helpful. Pros The support staff. I have always received prompt responses that usually resolve my issue. They don't hesitate to escalate an issue if the resolve is not found on the first try. Cons Inability to use SQL to write our own queries (filters). I recently learned how I can combine criteria by editing in the last screen, but I could still use more flexibility in creating and/or conditions within one query. Review Source MD Marty D. And uses many aspects of the data is the basis for responding so segmentation is easy and Powerful. Tech support was readily available and friendly. It allows easy identification of past givers for future solicitation. Cons I was using donor perfect to integrate with Constant Contact email marketing. The integration was not intuitive and the data flows for difficult to establish. Tech support for donor perfect and constant contact each blame the other for difficulties in the integration. Great starting program for us. Pros We were new to the non-profit world and Donor Perfect was a great way for us to get started. We were able to get our donors and contacts input easily. Cons It's not super responsive and/or intuitive. Sometimes it takes a lot to figure out how to do something and customer service takes a break in the middle of the day - often when we need help! Pros We recently transitioned to DonorPerfect, and the conversion process was seamless from start to finish. We chose DonorPerfect because we needed an intuitive, easy-to-use donor management system that could accommodate a wide range of staff skill levels. DonorPerfect has delivered on all fronts. I have worked in the non-profit performing arts world as a marketer. I'm impressed with it compared to Audience View and Theatre Manager Pros I like the general ease of use and I find the chat customer support very helpful. I also like the integration with outside apps like Constant Contact Cons I find it challenging to pull reports and wish that could be more intuitive. Pros DonorPerfect is incredibly robust with many options for running reports and collecting data. This ability to do just about anything is what I like most about DonorPerfect. Cons Because of how robust the system is it can become confusing with how many filters there are. In addition some ways of reporting are not possible. For example we like to put together a multi ask report for donors each year, at this time there is no easy report to get donors names who support more that one solicitation each year. Pros Customization is my favorite feature of DonorPerfect. The ability to tailor fields and create customized Smartactions greatly enhances the workflow. The education sessions are helpful and the functions of the crm fit my needs. Pros As the Major Gift Officer, I can track progress of each individual donors, set next step goals, easily pull reports, and seamlessly save every email correspondence directly into their account. The education sessions are very valuable and gave me the tools I needed to set-up trigger alerts to keep me on task. Cons There are several times throughout the day I get logged out without notice resulting in some work being lost and having to be redone. Creating reports can be somewhat complicated but the telephone support team is readily available and will walk you through creating reports with ease. The extra cost for phone support is worth it! Cons Building reports on Donor Perfect can be complicated. Fortunately, the phone support is very helpful in walking you through the process. All of the resources like webinars, chat support for both messages and calls are a great resource and have helped hugely. Everyone who I have both messaged and called have been a great help and are very knowledgeable! Pros That I can speak with someone over the phone to get detailed instructions when I need help, and that there are webinars that breaks down how to use their features. I look forward to continued learning and enhancing my skills. Pros I have found the program overall to be user friendly. I am not a tech savvy person so to have an easy to use program is extremely helpful. I have found most solutions within the knowledge base. Cons The least thing about Donor Perfect so far has been with the year end tax letters. Still need to work out some kinks in how we do things and it doesn't always work in Safari, which means I have to switch browsers to use video message capabilities and to save photos for profile pictures. Pros Makes it easy to track our donors, analyze trends in giving, and has more features that we can potentially add on to become more efficent. Cons The "possible duplicate" warning when we are setting up mulitple people in the same apartment complexes - obviously a lot of similar addresses. I have used 2 other CRM's but I like this one the best and hope to stay with it. Pros It is user friendly and contants everything you need to run a successful database. The support is incredible and alwyas available when I need them. Cons It can be very overwhleming with reports and forms. We didn't need all the bells and whistles of Raisers edge so this has been helpful. It's really easy to use and the support is always great and I know I can count on the customer service to help me when I need them. Pros DonorPerfect has been a great addition for our team. It simplified a lot of our processes. My favorite aspects include the automatic monthly giving (we didn't have that before) and I find the reports to be easy to use. Cons The one thing I would change about DP is that I wish I could edit filters and just update dates or be able to see what flags I used instead of it showing the codes when I go to edit filters.
