Forms were easy to produce and migrate to our website. Pros We are new to DonorPerfect but we have had excellent assistance while doing our onboarding. \[sensitive content hidden\] was very good at answering questions and directing me to all of the self help articles. Cons We are still so new that we don't have any cons, yet. It is truly not a con, but we were not able to migrate our then current donors over to DonorPerfect. Cons I feel the reporting module is not as user friendly compared to other software that I have used. The sales and support staff are friendly and helpful and are generally available within a short period of time Pros There are multiple ways that DP provides support. You can watch tutorial videos, which are very helpful. Or, you can get online chat help, or if you're really stuck, there is live online support. Cons Some of the functions are not intuitive. I had no one in my office to train me, so I had to figure a lot of it out on my own. This could have gone either way--but because the software is so user-friendly and intuitive, it went well. Pros It's very intuitive, so often I can figure things out on my own, but when I can't the customer service, especially in the chat feature is amazing. As a new employee to the platform, it has been very simple to use. Cons Sometimes the customer service could be a little simpler to contact and connect with. It is great to have a platform to keep all donor information in one place and which can also search all your records according to what you need. Pros I love that the customer support is always available and willing to assist. With so many ways to pull information, I sometimes struggled to find the reports with the information I needed. Support helped me to not only find this information but understand how I can find it myself. I now feel a lot more confident in my understanding of the platform. I also appreciate the forms feature as it makes fundraising simple and is user friendly, both to me creating the form and to donors using it. Cons I feel for new users there is a big learning curve to understanding how to use the platform and how to pull the right information. There is so much available to you that it can be confusing. Pros Ever since Donor Perfect update their look it has been better. They have always had great customer service and will walk you through building reports. It makes it easier for us to record donations from our partners and instantaneously produce tax receipts in-demand. Pros Integration of Donor Data and how it will transfer to our Accounting Program. There are a lot of similarities in terms of how donations are recorded and it makes it easy for us to reconcile transactions. Cons There are some functions that I'm not familiar with, but I know eventually I will get to learn it since we are just transitioning to the platform. April 8, 2025 5.0 Digging for data is not a fun experience for me, however, DonorPerect has made it easier than I thought it could be. With the help of many kind and knowledgeable staff members via chat or phone support, my questions are always respectfully and logically answered. Admitting you need help saves time and energy which is one of the reasons we purchased donor perfect to begin with. It is a great program and company to work with! Pros I like that all of our donor data is in one place, and we can print a report with their giving history instead of manually looking through years of lists. Cons Trying to find the report I really want can be annoying. Once I discovered the Gateway, it simplified the process. Their support teams are great and have helped with a number of unique scenarios. We manage thousands of donors giving millions annually and our experience so far has been positive. Pros It does a great job automating the collection of new donor data through its integrated donor forms. We used to manually enter new donors in Salesforce, we now process 4 times the donations without the work. Cons I do not like that DP does not manage households, it only manages consituents or contacts. Households give. Sometimes its the husband, sometimes the wife and often both give or attend events. Very intuitive, not complicated at all and will most definitely help me in my day-to-day development work. Pros The 1:1 support is amazing! So convenient to have someone knowelagable and accessible assigned to me to get to know how our org works and provide detailed and relevant information. Cons I wish there was a better way to track prospects. I think this is something they are working on- but it's not yet integrated and has caused me to need more than one platform. While I'm experienced with databases in general, I've needed to call the help line several times now and they have provided me with friendly and informative service. Cons I wish there were several additional fields in the system that I had in my last two databases. But my understanding is that I'll be able to create them on my own. Cons The built-in reports should be customizable, so new reports aren't needed to be created just to add one thing. Drag and drop forms need to tell you how much each form has brought in, not just a grand total. Email tributes should be generated automatically. Cons I don't think phone customer service should be something you pay additionally for. We pay a lot already, if we need help I think phone support should be included.
