Excellent! We really are just greatly pleased with our Donor Perfect experience. Our development manager is just getting started, but we anticipate that going well too.

Pros

We mostly use the donor management software to track donations and to generate correspondence with donors. Donor Perfect excels at this.

Cons

Some letters have been hard to modify, but when I have time support is quite helpful. Too, our sales representative was just so good at explaining everything and working with us. I wish he was still part of our team.

The constitute information is easy to find. Navigation is user friendly. The people at the help desk are friendly, very knowledgeable and provide excellent help.

Pros

The ease of using the various screens. Adding fields to the screens are very simple. Reports can provide so much useful information.

Cons

At first, building reports can be confusing. After taking a few classes, the fields make more sense.

### "Good for Smaller Businesses/Nonprofits"

Overall I like , and often recommned it to smaller nonprofits when asked. I tell them everything I have listed above, and always say I am happy to talk in more detail if they want.

Pros

Donor Perfect is the most user friendly CRM I have used to date. I appreciate the ability to create and maintain my own codes without the need for an inhouse IT staff member. I also love that with the plan my organization has the immediate access to help when needed and the following "extras": 1. Forms, but the classic and click & drag formats. 2. Event management 3. Online/mobile bidding platform.

Cons

That each family member has their own individual record without being attached. People in the same house should be combined into a household account.

Still very new but excited about putting all of the tools to work for us! Despite the initial learning curve with the reporting tools, I am optimistic and ready to dive in and leverage all that has to offer. It's common to feel a bit overwhelmed at first with comprehensive software, but discovering how all the features can work together to streamline your processes and achieve your goals is truly exciting.

Pros

Support is readily available and helpful, and the training resources effectively equip us to use the software. The team is open to feedback, actively listens to user issues, and is proactive in finding solutions. Overall, this paints a picture of a company that prioritizes user support and engagement, which is a significant factor for us!

Cons

Reporting tool is a little tedious and not necessarily intuitive. The wide array of options, filters, and data fields can be overwhelming. Users might struggle to find the specific report they need or to customize it without a clear, guided process.

The customer service is always helpful, and they take the time to work through your question or issue. The representatives have also offered best-practice solutions when I'm using a feature of the software that is new to me.

Cons

Some of the dashboards, forms, and reports have lacked the customization preferences I would like to see, but I have seen improvements in some of the customization options over the years.

Overall, my experience with as a new user has been positive. While there is a bit of a learning curve at first, the system is fairly user-friendly once you start exploring it. I’ve found it helpful for organizing donor information and getting a better handle on tracking and managing relationships. With a little time and practice, it feels like a valuable tool for staying organized and supporting our work.

Pros

I'm a new user and so far what I like most about was how user-friendly and intuitive it is—it makes tracking donors, managing relationships, and pulling reports really straightforward, which saves time and helps me stay focused on building connections with our supporters.

Cons

What I liked least as a new user was the learning curve at the beginning—some features aren’t immediately intuitive, so it takes a bit of time to figure out where everything is and how to use certain functions efficiently.

is like the Windows version of donor database software. While it's not all pretty like Apple and is quite involved, it can pretty much pull whatever information you want it to which is amazing. The chat support is super helpful when you need a very specific report pulled or template setup.

Pros

I love that you can chat with support at any time and they always do a good job of walking you through the process your working through.

Cons

It's kind of easy to do a step in the process wrong (ex. when pulling a report, noting "and" rather than "or"), so you just have to pay close attention that your dotting your i's and crossing your t's to get the information you're looking for.

Pros

Customer Support is easily reached and knowledgable about their product. This make asking for help seamless and quick!

Cons

I feel like we are still living in the 00's with the tech and I don't like like that they have to do 3rd party add ons for products the should be able to integrate.

This is my first CRM, and I found very easy to learn and use. A new employee suggested we try a system she was familiar with, and it was very evident that DonorPerfect is truly a step above the rest.

Pros

It is very user-friendly. It is capable of doing so much! Also, if you don't know or remember how to something, the help chat is a great resource.

Cons

Having the help chat unavailable for an hour each day. It always seems when I need to figure something out, the chat is unavailable during that one hour of the day. If it were available all day, that would be helpful.

is a great database with easy to use features. It was very easy to jump into and self-teach when I first started using it in my role.

Pros

It was user friendly and easy to jump in with. The training and conference videos are great tools to make sure you really know how to use the product. Also, there are easy walk-throughs for new steps you're taking so that you enter your data properly.

Cons

The reporting area took longer to get comfortable with and I'd like access to a list of my donors without creating a list or having to search individually. Although, they assure me they're working on that.

The system is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Very customizable to fit our needs!

Cons

The receipting feature isn't as customizable, I can't edit individual messages like I can through gift profiles, but we have found a workaround that fits our gift load.

Price can't really be beat for what you get- service is not really comparable to some of the more premier options on the market, but if you want bang for your buck, this is an adequate option.

Pros

Very flexible in terms of overall capability Responsive support and actually able to talk to real people

Cons

Many features are rough around the edges and/or do not work the way that one might expect based on experience with other CRM software

The ease at which I can run reports to get the donor info I need. Any reporting functionality is at my fingertips!

Cons

Inability to verify addresses for returned mail - I would love to be able to click a button and get new access to current addresses.

Overall we are very pleased with Donor Perfect and would highly recommend this product. The cost is very reasonable.

Pros

Our organization has used Donor Perfect for many years. This company continues to expand its integrations and applications to make easy record management, reporting, screen designing, data entry, online/test/mobile giving - we love it! And the Tech Support is second to none - the Staffers are always ready to help when needed. They are available every time we call or chat. They always send the notes from our calls, which we can refer to at a later date.

Cons

Suggest & Vote is a great idea, but if your thoughts are not voted on by enough people, it is not accepted.

I am very happy with ! The platform is user-friendly, reliable, and makes donor management simple and efficient. From tracking gifts to running reports and sending thank-you letters, everything is well-integrated and easy to use. The customer support team is responsive and helpful whenever we have questions. DonorPerfect has definitely helped us stay organized and build stronger relationships with our donors.

All positive so far. Ease of use. Customer support. Live chat! I am glad we finally made a switch - this seems like it's going to be a beautiful relationship!

Pros

I have only just begun to dig into DP so I'm sure I'm only going to praise a fraction of what is really to offer! I am SO impressed with the ease of use, the ease of making adjustments, the ease of entry. I cannot wait to dive deeper and really make this work for us!

Cons

Not much, really. It's a learning curve from what I'm used to, but it is SO. MUCH. EASIER. to navigate and manipulate the data! I ran one report, just to check, and it was so simple!

From the very beginning, this group has been beyond supportive and enthusiastic about helping us meet our goals.

Pros

The set up process was incredibly simple. As a new ED with the group, we are in the process of launching multiple initiatives at once and it is so nice to have something like this go so smoothly.

Cons

So far, I haven't had any stumbling blocks so it is difficult to say what I like least. I suppose the only con so far is the fact that I am still building my team so my time is limited in the capacity I would like it to be to focus on really exploring all of the features available.

Overall I've had a great experience. I'm still figuring some of it out, but each day I learn more and I'm excited to use all that I'm learning.

Pros

I love all the classes and help! There are a lot of CRMs out there that do a lot of the same things but I've never worked with a company that was THIS helpful.

Cons

The program does a lot and there is a lot to learn and it can be overwhelming when you start. I don't like feeling like I'm underutilizing what I've got

My workplace has used for over a decade and it has been invaluable for managing donations and other income. We have easy-to-track records of longtime supporters, donation histories and campaigns, that allow us to make decisions about future fundraising. We love it!

Pros

I really like the ease of use, but the best part about is the staff who are helpful, responsive, and flexible.

Cons

I don't like the appearance. I think it's too bright, which strains the eyes. There is no dark mode option. And sometimes it is confusing to navigate the website, especially when making reports.

We're just getting started with individual donors so although we haven't had the opportunity to use the platform a ton, we've been pleased with what we've experienced so far. We switched from a competitor platform and Donor Perfect is MUCH better!

Pros

The onboarding process was good! There was someone to work with you one-on-one as you got acquainted with the platform. The only thing that could have made this better would be if there wasn't a hand-off to someone else after onboarding. In addition, having Constant Contacts included was a HUGE benefit to us!

Cons

I like the design better than some of the competitors, however, there could still be some improvements with user experience and making things a little bit easier to access or get to. Not everything is super intuitive on where to find or how to do. I also wish there was a main screen where I could see all the constituents and their gift history by default (without searching for %). I do also wish that everything was within one platform. We have to use GiveCloud as a separate tool.

Reason for choosing DonorPerfect

Cost - with Constant Contacts included in Donor Perfect it was the best deal for us.

Truly, I feel more confident about our capacity to attract, cultivate, and retain donors with this system, especially because of the tremendous real-time support and responsiveness from DP staff, and the awesome training resources provided. Also, after you really feel you are in the groove, using DP is FUN!

Pros

The support team is everything a new user could dream of having behind them to help maximize the system's amazing range of tools. Whether you shoot a question to them by email or pick up the phone, you not only get your questions answered or problem solved, you can also expect to have a genuine thought-partner on the other end of the line who genuinely cares about helping you understand and get the most out of the system to meet your needs. The DP folks are incredible humans with an inhuman skill-set! They not only are technical experts, they are real people who really care about us on the other end!

Cons

There is a lot to learn and typically not a lot of time to get up to speed for a new user, and a lot of 3rd-parties (partner apps/integrations) to keep track of, which feels a bit overwhelming at first.

What I like most about is the donor management system and the customer service. Anytime I have a problem or question, customer service is super helpful.

Cons

Can be confusing to use at times and will have to do a google search to figure out how to stop a monthly donation. Or if bi-monthly donation is an option and how to set that up.
