Great starting program for us. Pros We were new to the non-profit world and Donor Perfect was a great way for us to get started. We were able to get our donors and contacts input easily. Cons It's not super responsive and/or intuitive. Sometimes it takes a lot to figure out how to do something and customer service takes a break in the middle of the day - often when we need help! I look forward to continued learning and enhancing my skills. Pros I have found the program overall to be user friendly. I am not a tech savvy person so to have an easy to use program is extremely helpful. I have found most solutions within the knowledge base. Cons The least thing about Donor Perfect so far has been with the year end tax letters. Still need to work out some kinks in how we do things and it doesn't always work in Safari, which means I have to switch browsers to use video message capabilities and to save photos for profile pictures. Pros Makes it easy to track our donors, analyze trends in giving, and has more features that we can potentially add on to become more efficent. We enjoy how everything we need is all on the same platform, and it has streamlined our donor development processes greatly. Pros DonorPerfect is all encompassing and has some of the best customer support I have encountered. When I often use chat support, a competent and kind individual is ready to help within seconds. Cons At times, DonorPerfect has long processes to do otherwise simple tasks. I wanted my dashboard to automatically pull a report of the mot recent 10 donations, and it was a hassle to get it added. It is also sent to you via email afterwards for easy step-keeping. Pros DonorPerfect has a user interface that is very easy to get used to especially if you have not used software any type of CRM software before Cons It does crash from time to time and even though it says to click on the top right to report there is no link to click on an error page. Cons When entering a split pledge payment, the lifetime giving field double counts the entry. We can easily track donor histories, segment donors for targeted campaigns, and generate detailed reports that provide invaluable insights into our fundraising performance. The built-in tools for email marketing and donation forms have significantly increased our efficiency and donor engagement. One feature we particularly love is the automated thank-you messages, which help us maintain strong donor relationships while saving time. March 31, 2025 4.0 Overall, I find DonorPerfect to be user friendly and meets the needs of our organization. Pros I like the ease of support through the chat function. It provides quick and easy support when needed and you receive an email follow up recapping the exchange. ReadySetAuction helps us coordinate a smooth online auction every year. Pros DonorPerfect's customer service and training are second to none. Their knowledgeable team is patient and more than happy to answer questions. They don't rush you. If they don't know the answer, they will find out and circle back to you. Cons The options for DonorPerfect's forms for online giving need continued development. We choose to use a third-party that works well with DonorPerfect until DP can provide some of the same features. Pros We use DonorPerfect Website Forms for all our online giving. The process is seamless with our QuickBooks software and integrates with our constant contact account for easy email campaigns. Cons Segmenting Data and pulling reports can be clunky and the limited amount of dashboards makes it a bit harder to get quick looks at data in real time. Review Source AS Amy S. Pros I like the ability to gather all the information for a donor in one easy place, the ability to customize fields that need to be added, the icons for major donors, etc, that it shows how long the person has been a donor, and it shows if the donor is lapsed or current. I wouldn't want to work in any other software product. I feel like the staff are kind and supportive to all of my needs. Pros I've work with Donor Perfect program for the past 7.5 years. By far the software is one of the best. I love the support team. They are so knowledgeable. Cons The "possible duplicate" warning when we are setting up mulitple people in the same apartment complexes - obviously a lot of similar addresses. I'm impressed with it compared to Audience View and Theatre Manager Pros I like the general ease of use and I find the chat customer support very helpful. I also like the integration with outside apps like Constant Contact Cons I find it challenging to pull reports and wish that could be more intuitive. Everyone who I have both messaged and called have been a great help and are very knowledgeable! Pros That I can speak with someone over the phone to get detailed instructions when I need help, and that there are webinars that breaks down how to use their features.
