The cost is very reasonable. Pros Our organization has used Donor Perfect for many years. This company continues to expand its integrations and applications to make easy record management, reporting, screen designing, data entry, online/test/mobile giving - we love it! And the Tech Support is second to none - the Staffers are always ready to help when needed. They are available every time we call or chat. They always send the notes from our calls, which we can refer to at a later date. Cons Suggest & Vote is a great idea, but if your thoughts are not voted on by enough people, it is not accepted. Pros DonorPerfect is incredibly robust with many options for running reports and collecting data. This ability to do just about anything is what I like most about DonorPerfect. Cons Because of how robust the system is it can become confusing with how many filters there are. In addition some ways of reporting are not possible. For example we like to put together a multi ask report for donors each year, at this time there is no easy report to get donors names who support more that one solicitation each year. " May 19, 2025 4.0 We're just getting started with individual donors so although we haven't had the opportunity to use the platform a ton, we've been pleased with what we've experienced so far. We switched from a competitor platform and Donor Perfect is MUCH better! Pros The onboarding process was good! There was someone to work with you one-on-one as you got acquainted with the platform. The only thing that could have made this better would be if there wasn't a hand-off to someone else after onboarding. In addition, having Constant Contacts included was a HUGE benefit to us! Cons I like the design better than some of the competitors, however, there could still be some improvements with user experience and making things a little bit easier to access or get to. Not everything is super intuitive on where to find or how to do. I also wish there was a main screen where I could see all the constituents and their gift history by default (without searching for %). I do also wish that everything was within one platform. We have to use GiveCloud as a separate tool. Reason for choosing DonorPerfect Cost - with Constant Contacts included in Donor Perfect it was the best deal for us. Customer support. Live chat! I am glad we finally made a switch - this seems like it's going to be a beautiful relationship! Pros I have only just begun to dig into DP so I'm sure I'm only going to praise a fraction of what is really to offer! I am SO impressed with the ease of use, the ease of making adjustments, the ease of entry. I cannot wait to dive deeper and really make this work for us! Cons Not much, really. It's a learning curve from what I'm used to, but it is SO. MUCH. EASIER. to navigate and manipulate the data! I ran one report, just to check, and it was so simple! Pros The support staff. I have always received prompt responses that usually resolve my issue. They don't hesitate to escalate an issue if the resolve is not found on the first try. Cons Inability to use SQL to write our own queries (filters). Pros I really appreciate the ease of individual or batch donor entry, and the report builder is easy to use and gives us a great variety of data about individuals and events. And uses many aspects of the data is the basis for responding so segmentation is easy and Powerful. Tech support was readily available and friendly. It allows easy identification of past givers for future solicitation. Cons I was using donor perfect to integrate with Constant Contact email marketing. The integration was not intuitive and the data flows for difficult to establish. Tech support for donor perfect and constant contact each blame the other for difficulties in the integration. The education sessions are helpful and the functions of the crm fit my needs. Pros As the Major Gift Officer, I can track progress of each individual donors, set next step goals, easily pull reports, and seamlessly save every email correspondence directly into their account. The education sessions are very valuable and gave me the tools I needed to set-up trigger alerts to keep me on task. Cons There are several times throughout the day I get logged out without notice resulting in some work being lost and having to be redone. So easy to start campaigns, create forms, and launch a campaign. We were already using Constant Contact so it make sending emails seamless. Cons Onboarding wasn't so great. Would be great to have more hands in experience as you get started. I had some issues importing data with not ideal work arounds. There are a few pieces that could use some updating to make them even more efficient. Pros I really like the customer support and chat help. I find that when I have issues of any kind, there is always an outlet to quickly help me and support my organization's needs. I also like how you can attach documentation to transactions or just to the record, it helps to purposefully attach information directly where it belongs. Cons I don't like that you can't select a record to be a household/couple. We have many married donors who want to be in one singular record, and the only way to do that is to put both first names in the same row, which makes pulling reports and processing information for each specific donor more difficult. I'm getting better with reports, but even after 4 years, I still find the process clunky, especially when you're trying to deep dive down into very specific pieces of information. I also don't like how in every training, the trainers are always trying to upsell on additional features. I stopped signing up for trainings and either use the chat function or read articles to learn how to complete new tasks. Review Source MF Mike F. We didn't need all the bells and whistles of Raisers edge so this has been helpful. It's really easy to use and the support is always great and I know I can count on the customer service to help me when I need them. Pros DonorPerfect has been a great addition for our team. It simplified a lot of our processes. My favorite aspects include the automatic monthly giving (we didn't have that before) and I find the reports to be easy to use. Cons The one thing I would change about DP is that I wish I could edit filters and just update dates or be able to see what flags I used instead of it showing the codes when I go to edit filters. While the system was used by several locations it was very difficult to get data specific to my local operations. Pros Quite frankly I did not find anything in the program that I liked. While it seem to promise a lot of customization I was never successful in using the bells and whistles. Cons Reports were very difficult to get out of the system Dashboard did not work in such a way that was helpful. The system had too many options making it difficult to use for small organizations.
