I've used DonorPerfect for several years. It is fairly easy to use and after a while becomes quite simple to create the reports you need. Sometimes you may need support to create more complex reports and the support staff are pretty good about helping, though sometimes charge. I like the customizable fields and the ability to link to other documents/photos for each record.

Inexpensive relative to other programs, fairly simple interface

Cons

Limited with more complex reporting needs

Before this product I was keeping track of everything in google docs - this was the first software we purchased! I am pleased with it and have found it helpful.
