Pros

I really like and appreciate the customer support responsiveness, any time I have a question on how to pull a report, it is answered within 15-30 minutes, which is incredible. I also value being able to have multiple users logged in at a time, this creates seamless communication with our team when we are in different stores or locations.

Cons

I think the quality and use-friendliness of the online web forms could be improved, however I like how they are directly linked and integrated into our platform as it makes donation entry efficient.

We migrated from Blackbaud to DonorPerfect eight years ago, and it has proven to be the right decision for our small nonprofit. Blackbaud’s system was more complex than our organization required, whereas DonorPerfect offers a more intuitive, user-friendly experience at a very reasonable price point. Over the years, I have stepped in to support donation entry and thank-you letter processing during periods of staff turnover. Even without being a daily user, I was able to navigate the system with ease, supplemented by DonorPerfect’s excellent training videos. This flexibility is a significant advantage, as it reduces reliance on a single staff member as the system expert and helps ensure continuity in our operations.

Pros

Ease of use, excellent value for the money, customer support, especially their online "chat" support option.

Cons

Creating reports and online donation forms can be tricky, but customer support is always available and helpful.

Overall, I would say minus some things here and there that have been "glitchy" or not helpful (i.e. reporting, deposit sections that I use on a weekly basis) this platform gives me everything I need to use for our donors on a daily basis! Customer service could use some help after hours (I.e. have an emergency response team for people that work outside of their work hours or have a different time zone) but other than that it is excellent and helpful!

Pros

I have found it most helpful to use donor perfect to organize and schedule donor contacts whether email or mailing them a hand written note. I also love that I can label and and see at a glance helpful information right on the beginning part of the donor's profile. The section called narrative has been helpful to use for quick notes I need our team to be able to see and read to be able to better interact with donors on a collaborative basis. When I have needed customer support, they have responded within a 24 hour period, have been helpful and apologetic when things don't work, and work quickly to resolve the issue. Donor Perfect for the most part has been easy to use and helpful for our organization this year.

Cons

I don't like the reporting section of donor perfect at all. There are way too many filters that are needed in order to pull info I need quickly. It also is not the most user friendly and takes time to rewatch videos and take more notes in order to use. The deposit section needs some updates to get rid of bugs/glitches, and make it faster and easy to use without a bunch of unnecessary parts to fill out each time.

It works really well. Most of my issues lie with inconsistent data entry and not the platform. The reporting is really very good, but building filters to get the data needed has a definite learning curve. If you can write WHERE Sequel statements, it makes it much easier.

Pros

Customer Support is wonderful. The chat support works great. In fact, I rarely need to call or even escalate a ticket.

Cons

The way that layouts are managed are a bit difficult to use. A drag and drop feature would be a big improvement. The auction integration is a little wonky as well, but that's a different platform.

Overall good as it is beginner friendly but would love if it had more options to customize as per organizations need.

Pros

User friendly donor management, easy creating reporting templates for beginners, quick support and free webinars to uplift the skill

Cons

Limitation in some of the areas like changing the fiscal year for retention, reactivation stats in the dashboard. Doesn't integrate well with Givecloud monthly donation and doesn't mark them monthly donor automatically. Limitations in some of the customizations. Can't upload the documents like other platforms so that we can keep a record for each constituent. Additional cost for certain features.

From the start DonorPerfect staff has walked along side us and helped us to grow and use the system more and more. We still have a lot to learn but I know the DP staff is there to help us get the most out of the system.

Pros

DonorPerfect is easy to use and as affords you the ability to build customizations to meet your organizations language and needs. The support is amazing. You can quickly be in contact with a support person that knows what they are doing and is able to answer your questions. The training is even better. The trainers are deep in experience and able to customize the training for the user need and skill level.

Cons

Volunteer management capability could be stronger. There are good options for interfacing into other volunteer systems but would like it all in one.

Donor Perfect suits us well for all that it does and we appreciate your amazing chat support at most hours of the work day - thank you!

Pros

It's efficient and shares information that's most valuable clearly. I think the best feature is the salutations tab and how much we rely on that.

Cons

The fact that there is not a toggle to remove deceased individuals from list pulls adds extra work every time. Exporting lists have also been noticeably slower to download and I'm wondering if there's any resolution to that.

It has been a very positive experience. DonorPerfect has everything we need to do our job efficiently.

Pros

Donor Perfect is easy to use, and has great customer service when I have additional questions. It's an invaluable tool for our office, and we are pleased with the cost, as it is a fraction of our former CRM and we lost no functionality.

Cons

I haven't found anything to dislike about the DonorPerfect software, and have recommended it to other entities.

Great customer support, particularly chat support. Difficult interface particularly with filters and reporting.

Pros

Chat support is responsive and helpful. The majority of the time, we can get the info we are looking for from reports.

Cons

There are limits on what filters and defined fields can do in terms of the data and output we are looking for sometimes.

I was trained by a former employee who did not have good donor perfect skills, I have learned more and more about included features that we can use that are very hellpful

Pros

It integrates well with Constant Contact. The chat support is helpful and clear. Adding ticket sales i easy.

Cons

Every so often an email address does not automatically sync with Constant Contact and no one can fiture out why
