Overall I am really pleased with Goldie, I am pleased with the website it offers along with the booking system is amazing, I love the add ons you can do. However it’s annoying how the website link has to have Goldie before it as it doesn’t look like a proper website at the moment though its link. Everything is amazing I have recommended it to many other groomers.

Pros

I love the message reminders you can do so easily and quickly and how you get notified to send them.

Cons

\-The fact you can’t add lunch breaks into the calendar. -that you can’t select a service to only be booked on certain days such as “full groom Saturdays only”

Thank you so much for the feedback. We have shared the request around services tied to dates with the product team. For lunch breaks - there are a couple of options to block the calendar. One of them is to adjust your working hours to have a break in the middle of it - but if you don't want that visible to customers you can also set a recurring personal event on the calendar (click the + in the bottom right corner - add "personal event" and then click add recurrence). This will make it so your calendar will not get booked during those times. Please do not hesitate to reach out to support@heygoldie.com with any questions.

Not a great experience. I am going to have to use a different system as i feel if it takes this long to get in touch with a help team i wouldnt like my money going through them

Pros

Seems like a good system and i like the fact you can take deposits etc

Cons

Cannot get in touch with the help team at all have been having issues with payment and trying to get in touch with them for days.

So far so good! I'm really liking it more than Square so far, it seems like a better value for the money.

Pros

Most of the set up has been intuitive and easy. I really like the website and the added features like forms, social media posts, and follow up texts. So far I think I'm really going to like it.

Cons

I had an issue setting up my Stripe connection and customer service was limited during the holidays so that part took longer than it should have to resolve. Sometimes it's difficult to find the exact answer I'm looking for. I also had an issue setting up my business hours. I was able to figure out I could do it in the app and it would save, versus doing it on the browser where it wouldn't save. All in all these were mostly minor inconveniences.

Goldie was less expensive. Goldie is missing some components that grooming specific software like Moego includes, but I didn't think it was important enough to pay almost twice as much.

Pros

I love how easy it was to set up! I'm not a technical person so I really appreciated the emails I received step by step to set up my site, card reader and how to's every step of the way. Scheduling and management of appointments is very easy and secure. Great value for the money! I love getting updates from options I can still add and suggestions to make my site better.

Cons

There's nothing I didn't like. I was scared to try because I'm not technical but Goldie made it easy to understand and shipped my card reader fast!

I love Goldie, it has a lot of features that help you with having a great booking system, it has the option to have online booking, messages your clients to remind them of their appointments

There’s nothing I don’t like about using Goldie, I have no cons at all about the app, I love it and would recommend to anyone

So close to gold! By far the most enjoyable schedule program I use, with a few quirks here or there. If they streamline things just a little more, Goldie could very easily become a 10/10.

Pros

Very intuitive, makes booking super easy for clients. Goldie can text clients if they haven't rebooked after a month, and clients can text back if they have any questions. The UI is clean and works smooth and quick like you'd expect. The amount of features that you get for the price is comparatively way better than the competition. As a sole proprietor, goldie has everything I need to function in the default pro plan, where as most other applications try to hide a few necessities in their super premium plans, resulting in me not pursuing them. One if the main reasons I chose Goldie was their frequent update schedule, and perceived response to feedback.

Cons

It's missing a few features, ie not limiting the amount of products or services a client can book at once. There's a few small quirks that I wish were different such as, asking a client to respond YES if they want reminders rather than asking them to say STOP, some clients don't read or respond to the first text and don't get reminders. Another quirk: Booking an appointment as the provider doesn't show you what conflicts you may have per service time, rather you need to check the calendar prior. It'd be much more intuitive to have timeslots to choose from in addition to the current clock format. My final small quirk is the inability to hide the payment button when online payments are unavailable. I have them disabled due to my biggest issue, which I elaborate on below. My last, but biggest, compromise with Goldie is the inability to save cards on file WITHOUT a client account. A majority of my clients dislike accounts, but want to pay by card on file. I have not been able to switch off of my previous POS due to this. And as such, I can't take early payments through goldie, as I choose to not split my income into two different POS systems.

Square's Calendar sync was google-only. Square, Gloss, Vagaro, and Acuity could not let clients add enhancements (or products) without extending the appointment duration. Gloss Genius was VERY slow and buggy. Goldie had much better text features, and is the only platform clients can reschedule themselves on easily.

Related to the SMS - your client opts in to messaging when they create an appointment, so they get the messages by default unless they send stop. We currently show conflicts when the appointment is recurring and I will share the idea of expanding it with the product team. For your last point about client accounts - a client account is actually not required to save a card on file. We give clients the option to create an account, but that's primarily to review appointment history. We will review the language we use here to make that clearer. It was definitely a learning curve moving from another booking system to Goldie but I can confidently say I’m very impressed with it.

Pros

The built in card payments is fantastic! The switch over process was quick and easy too. The customer service is impressive, any email I’ve sent was replied too so quickly with all my questions answers and any issues fixed.

Cons

I would like to have an invoice available that consolidates the months payments received and card fees paid, this was available with my last booking system. I do think that finding and navigating certain things in settings can be difficult, such as changing certain work days to add holidays.

9/10. It’s easy, convenient works amazing on the iPad and phone. Had very few issues. If you are not overly tech savvy or just starting a business and want to look at an organisation system. This is 100% it.

Pros

It’s extremely easy to just pick up, everything is pretty straightforward and obviously. That’s THE most important thing. Love how notes appear on the next booking as a reminder!

Cons

Not obvious how to scan/copy in forms. I’d love a Mac/pc version to accompany the mobile.. maybe there is I just haven’t explored it properly! Other than that I really can’t think of much.

Not bad so far! Still figuring things out. I would say I am happy with the service as of now. I have not found any issues yet.

Pros

I use Goldie to schedule my dog grooming salon appointments. It's a very easy scheduling system and has lots of add on that help with marketing and customer organization.

Cons

The price tiers are not very inclusive. I would have to upgrade to a much higher tier to be able to take deposits from customers.

Pros

Goldie is pretty helpful. It’s an easy platform which is nice and it’s nice because you can build up upon it if you want to. you can almost build it the way you want to, but they make it easy in the beginning. It’s the easiest one I’ve looked at. I’ve been looking at all kinds of platforms in this one seems to be the easiest.

I don’t really have any complaints. It’s pretty good. The best one I’ve used so far.

I have only been using this app a few months ans unlike the others, this app has been the easiest and best one i have used.

Pros

This app is amazing!! The way it can colour-code for certain services really helps with booking people in. Its also great for sending messages to clients for reminders of their appointments. Its so easy to schedule clients in or even adjust appointments to suit your schedule. The payment process is so easy and reliable. Definitely great value for money i would recommend this app 100% for business owners. The privacy and security of appointments are secure and protected.

Cons

I dont like the fact you cant use paypal as a payment method rather than just bank cards. I think paypal would be a great option of payment also.

Simple, effective and super helpful. As a first time goer at being self employed the Goldie appointment system has made it so easy for me. The fact they create a whole website for clients to book on at the price they charge is incredible. I am absolutely loving everything Goldie has to offer.

Pros

Sometimes my money takes days to deposit. Which sometimes causes a delay in my business operational and slows me down from paying employees.

It’s a good app. It would only need a few adjustments to make it perfect. I made my suggestion but they did not take it onboard

Pros

Great for automated text reminders. Customers can book themselves in which is great. As a driving instructor I can have automated text messages sent to a student on the day of there test without me having to remember

Cons

The calendar is a bit messy. Also the only pay option is stripe which is way to expensive for a small business to pay. But I can work around that but when someone does pay me I can’t show paid on the calendar without it going through stripe. Which make it hard to remember who prepaid and who didn’t

So far i was very excited about it. The more I’m using it the more glitchy things I’m running into, unfortunately. I can’t say for sure if I’m going to keep it

A lot of features I didn’t expect to see and all within the app rather than having to use the desktop version. Processing fees are good too

Cons

Its glitchy. Going to the help menu makes you continue a conversation versus allowing me to chat with AI assist. Someone who starts to book will remove that availability for much longer than 10min. They don’t book but it remains blocked for 30min to 1hr. This is making us lose money

My overall experience is 10/10. It's extremely easy to use. The transferring of my appointment firm my previous app was easy and they did all the work for it .

Pros

Goldie is as far the best booking app I ever used. It basically have everything I need to run my hair salon. I wish I knew about this app before all the apps I used since I've been in business. (6 years now). The features are on point and everything a salon need they got it. I'm extremely happy 😊 and excited to use this app for my business.

Cons

So far the only thing is merging app to social media and Google that I'm having a hard time with but besides that I enjoy it.
