My work life is easier now as it helps me loads in multiple different areas of the business. Showing me the statics of my salon too. Pros is the first ever system I have used to run my business and it’s made my life so much easier. Clients can now book there own appointments so no back and forth messages. It helps me with marketing and reminder messages to which is important for me. The interface for both me and the client is so easy. The fact it allows me to use klarna is a big thumbs up for my clients as it spends the costs for the client but I receive all the money. Now they have added the new schedule next appointment button at the checkout that’s so much easier to. Cons I don’t like the amount of time it takes for pay outs at the start. It is a long time to get a pay out especially when you need to order hair. The switch from Fresha was so smooth, and the Goldie team have been amazing — they reply so quickly whenever I need help. I feel so much more organised now, and it’s taken so much stress and pressure off my business. As a mum with young children, this has given me more time with them too! I love how it prompts me to take deposits and reminds me about appointments — it just makes everything easier. Pros What I love most about is that you can take deposits directly through the app, and if you ever need to change appointment times, you can message customers on WhatsApp right from there. Cons When you go to send out the deposit, it automatically selects text message. I’d prefer it to default to WhatsApp instead, as most of my customers use that more often. That’s just a personal preference though — I’ll ask if this can be changed. Customer service has been amazing when needed! I have told several stylists about the app already. It’s truly a hidden gem! Pros I love the ease of use. It’s very user friendly. And does pretty much everything I need. I love that it can be used on multiple devices. It truly makes maneuvering from my suite and home so much easier. The AI generated descriptions are definitely one of my favorite features, because sometimes I really can’t find the write words! Cons Sometimes my confirmations texts don’t send the day before like I have it set up. So I have to manually send them. I made my suggestion but they did not take it onboard Pros Great for automated text reminders. Customers can book themselves in which is great. As a driving instructor I can have automated text messages sent to a student on the day of there test without me having to remember Cons The calendar is a bit messy. Also the only pay option is stripe which is way to expensive for a small business to pay. But I can work around that but when someone does pay me I can’t show paid on the calendar without it going through stripe.
