### "BEST YMCA SYSTEM EVER! (Honestly!)"

As you can tell from my previous statements, I am a BIG fan. I know this system backwards and forwards. I love it and the entire Daxko team is great at listening and implementing new features when needed.

Pros

Honestly, I love everything but I would say the best part of Operations within the program side. Running multiple rosters for different sessions within a program make everything so much easier and quicker. I have worked with Daxko since 2004 with 5 different YMCAs and it has never disappointed me one time.

Cons

In my humble opinion, I cant think of one Con about Operations. If more people would take the time to play around in the Training site and learn to use all of the modules and features, I would be willing to bet my life that no one would be able to come up with any downsides to Operations.

What stands out most about Daxko Operations is how intuitive and user-friendly the system is. Cons

The only concern I have with Daxko Operations is that it can sometimes be difficult to find where certain features or tools are located. While the system is overall user-friendly, some of the more specific functions—like detailed reporting options or member account adjustments—can feel buried within multiple menus or tabs. This can lead to extra time spent clicking through different sections trying to locate the right screen or tool. With a bit more clarity or customization in the layout, it would be easier to access the features needed most often without the guesswork.

### "Stuck in the middle"

Our journey has been a rollercoaster over the years. We would get what I like to call surface functionality which looks to be better but then when you get into the functionality of where the software should be, it's something that needs to be done on the back end by a Daxko Operations "admin" person who most of the time has less experience than those of us who have been using Daxko for years or not on the roadmap. Within the last few years, I have seen enhancements that would have been helpful for us if they had happened earlier. Unfortunately, we need things to move a little faster, so we tend to look for outside software that suits our needs, but that then pulls us further away from it working with our CRM. I like the new partnerships, I just hope the forward momentum continues. It's hard to convince people who don't use/know the software as much as the administrators do that the problem isn't always the software. Once something doesn't do what someone thinks it should, even when there is an enhancement, it's never enough after the initial not so great experience.

Pros

Recently, we have seen improvements that seem to be moving the software to a product that is more relevant to today's needs.

Cons

Inconsistency in product development. Over the years, we hear new functionality is coming but it was more surface development which didn't help our needs for what technology should do in today's market.

We have had Daxko for almost 20 years, we switched from AS400 and are continuing to review CRMs each time we are up for renewal. We continue to renew until we find something that better suits our needs.

Pros

Daxko makes it easier for program directors to quickly make changes if needed. The use of links makes it easy for us to create quick QR codes and connect parents with our website.

Cons

Reports are a little hard to find sometimes depending on what you are looking for. And signatures for camp care. Since we don't use it often when we have to go in we have to relearn it and it takes a while to figure it out.

Overall, Daxko is great, especially for large organizations with multiple types of membership and varius activities acros the year.

Pros

The more I have learned and used Daxko, the more I enjoy the system! I have found it to be pretty straightforward to use and have witnessed first hand the short learning curve of new staff. The community engagement, support response, security, customer support features, and payment processing are quite flawless and have made my position a joy to be at.

Cons

I have found that any cons I thought I had with the system have all been only because a particular feature isn't granted to the level of access I have access too, so I honestly cannot think of any cons off the tope of my head. I honestly find this software to be exactly what my company needs.

it has been very enjoyable. it is easy to use and easy to teach others how to use and if you have any questions you can troubleshoot it yourself or reach out to support and get help.

Pros

It's ease of use and its ever-changing updates to make the operating system better. The real-time customer support service that is offered. and the on the spot training program

Cons

There are a few updates that could be made, like working better with other systems, for example, one program we use is FitOn Health and there are some information that is required that would be nice if we were able to export exactly what is needed to make the process a little smoother

I have been using it for more than 10 years, and it has gotten easier to use with some of the updates.

Pros

The many ways to find a person, especially when information has been entered incorrectly. I prefer to start by date of birth, but phone numbers and emails can be unique to a person too.

Cons

How hard it can be to find programs. Sometimes programs are not where I expect them to be, but that can also be the fault of whoever created the program.

My experience with Daxko Operations is its accurate and always available. Our agency uses this everyday. We enroll our seniors in our agency using this program. If we didn't have this we couldn't do anything with our seniors. All my events are listed on this program.

Pros

i can write on the status of my seniors. Its always available for adding things. It also help me with my data.

Cons

I think this is a great app. We are able to communicate with our customers using this app. Continue to provide good service.

It's been relatively easy to utilize for our Community Center membership operations. Support is always timely and super helpful.

Pros

Relatively easy to use for implementing memberships at the Barefoot Republic Community Center since before we were using CampBrain which wasn't meant for memberships.

Cons

No real complaints that I can think at the moment, but we've experienced trouble with members scanning in, partly due to the scanner than we have.

My overall experience has been up and down. when I first started using Daxko I did not like it but that was many years ago. I feel that they have fixed all the issues and made the interface very user-friendly

Pros

I use Daxko on a daily basis to work at a call center. I love that Daxko is very user-friendly and the new update makes it even easier to use.

Cons

There is nothing that I don't like about Daxko, especially since the new update. I think everyone should be using this.

I have not had an overall great experience. We are a smaller organization and many of the services they offer are add-ons and too expensive. The end user experience to start is very hard to navigate.

Pros

Daxko at it's simplest form does what it needs to do. Logging in after the first time is an easy experience. They offer several custom reports, and if the report does not exist they will do their best to create what you are looking for.

Cons

Daxko is very expensive even with it's tiered systems. It offers many different services from texting to P2P donor platforms, but those are all at extra cost and they are very pricey! Up until mid 2025 the mobil experience using Google Chrome was impossible, you could not use the search function unless your phone was in landscape.

Overall - I enjoy Daxko, I think its a great program. Great training videos provided as well. Once you get everything down, its easy to navigate too.

Pros

I like how it is all age user friendly and I appreciate when there are notifications and small trainings for us to review when there are changes on the site.

Cons

I dislike that when members join online, if they click a certain membership type, and add more members then it calls for or pick the wrong type for what the membership looks like, it wont tell them its wrong. Then I have to make the difficult call letting the members know that the membership was created incorrectly and there is a price increase or whatever the issue is. I think the online portion needs to be easier for people/members to use since they don't understand daxko operations like staff members do.

Daxko has been a great tool within the workplace. Its easy to teach new staff the software while also containing a broad selection of features and tools for users to utilize.

Pros

The fluidity of Daxko is I believe its strongest point. Features are in places that you would first think to look making it easy for new users. Plus the payment processing after the new update makes it easy use.

Cons

It could use more selections of check-in sounds and effects but otherwise the product seems to be quite optimized.

I am brand new to the non-profit sector and to this role. I've used similar operating systems for managing a large volume of profiles/accounts and I have to say Daxko has impressed me. I've learned a lot already in my first few weeks. There is ample security for both staff and customer, payment processing is clean and simple, it provides a way for staff to easily manage profiles and accounts and promote more engagement from our community and prompt follow ups for necessary member retention. I have not experienced a need for customer support, which by itself means the system is operating as expected.

Pros

Daxko is very integrative and efficient. The system is perfectly suited for a membership based operation. I've been very impressed with the ease of use and system interface.

Cons

I have not encountered anything in the system so far that I have not found satisfactory. The few pieces of frustration have been about my particular permissions from my administrator, not from the system itself.

Daxko has been an easy platform to learn on the go. I have utilized different trainings they have provided to help me use operations effectively and efficiently. I think Daxko Operations has great customer service and is easy to get in contact with when you have inquiries or concerns.

Pros

I think Daxko Operations provides a sleek design that is easy to navigate and understand its features. I like how Operations allows you to restrict access to certain staff members based on their role, and how operations runs seamlessly.

Cons

I wish that the phone feature of operations wasn't an additional add-on feature, I feel like it should be included in the original package. I wish that certain reports would go back further than 6 months, and I wish there was a way to save reports to a file on daxko that you could frequently review those reports when you originally pulled them.

Good to great. I love the updates that you can access if training is needed for an upgrade etc. I would recommend this product.

Pros

Software - unlimited use for proactive sales is there - just need everyone to enter good data. New update to software has made a huge difference, with Rapid Check in and screen inside to use to check in whole family, or make notes.

Cons

I believe it is in set up, but more detailed type(s) of notes, would be more helpful and allow for data to be pulled to target for example: fitness floor interest

Overall I've been pleased with the system as a whole. I wish there were more options for the type of card scanners and payment methods accepted.

Pros

We built a new addition to our YMCA and being able to utilize the check-in feature for the separate entrances has been really nice so we can visualize how many people use each entrance. This will help us keep track of whether we keep that new entrance staffed or if there are times that are busier than others.

Cons

I wish it had the ability to automatically change the membership type/charge when kids age up to the next level. For example, a youth to a student or student to adult, etc.

Checkin functions are very effective and streamlined. Easy to check people in and mark wher they are going.

Cons

No system for checking off if members have filled certain paperwork. A feature like this would be very helpful.

Great, usually works with no issue, easy to use for basic needs and to find out info when being front desk. Also allows to notify members in case of anything.

Pros

The ease of use, allowing to view areas where the members are able to be searched, appointments to be viewed and completed and to see who is in the branch or not.

Cons

The long animations when a member is first signing in, some things can be a bit hard to find but most is easy.

Where did you come up with that name? I like Daxko, it's better than our old data base. It links with our other computers in house. It would be nice to link up to other Y's who have Daxko too. Then you could have a nation wide database, but show in different colors so you know who is your local member and who is nationwide member, visiting at this branch.

Pros

Like the photo area that is nice to put a decent photo to the information. Like the rows photos and being able to look back quickly for members to get information. When signing up members for an event (like swim lanes) you can click on all available to see where there is an open event. Like that the sign in area sings happy birthday to members. Also I like our check in area where you can see an enlarged photo of the member and any reservations they may have that day.

Cons

Would like the system to stay open longer. If you are not actively using the files it signs you out for security and you have to log in again. Also do not like having to change your password so often. Once every year would be ok. Don't like having to put youth members in without a adult's information. This is a pain.
