After Pixabay was acquired by Canva, the search feature also gives results from various stock image websites. While the images are superior on the stock websites, Pixabay still has decent assets.

Pros

I loved Pixabay since the moment I discovered it because it was giving out something no other service was giving at the time. An attribution free and commercial friendly license for the assets. It was a big deal when the stock images are expensive.

Cons

While it is a great product, the collection is limited. I can't complain when I'm getting assets for free and attribution free. Also the search is not the best!

I didn't love love it for images; however, when I started looking for videos, sounds, and music, I realized that Pixabay is a wealth of resources!

Pros

Finding stock music and sounds is VITAL for video creators and there is a wide range of audio that is available to use!

Cons

I wish the image library was a bit more stocked.

My experience has been mediocre. Although I enjoy the free photo options, they're limited and of poor quality overall.

Pros

The free options are a nice feature for low income businesses.

The free options are minimal and usually poor quality.

Great website. I would recommend it to others.

Pros

I use Pixabay to get images which I use in videos that I make. It lets me search by things like colour, size and file type.

Cons

Difficult to find things wrong with it I guess the main homepage could be a bit more minimal so that the search box is more highlighted at the moment I get a bit distracted by the colorful image in the background.

Great. Easy to use. I can always find some image to use.

Pros

They have a huge selection of images to use for all types of projects.

Cons

Sometimes the images are not as specific as I would like. Such as when looking for medical or anatomical images.

Pixabay is just a really useful platform for commercial free images, video, music, and vector art. We often use it to create thumbnails for our videos without it eating into our production or marketing budgets. It's a must use really.,

Pros

Pixabay is free. We use it all the time on our ad campaigns and video production to save costs on licensing similar commercial images or vectors from subscription only platforms.

Cons

Pixabay is limited with their archive and sometimes what they offer isn't quite as good as their rivals. BUT, it's free so we can't complain too miuch.
