Cons The refresh rate is very slow. It is suppose to refresh on its own but I have to refresh it on my own every minute. Cons Other companies are taking loads off of DAT due to cost and creating their own websites with their freight alone. This decreases the amount of freight on the load board for DAT. MANY Shippers and Brokers look at your Spot Rate Quotes in order to price loads. Your Quotes , many times, are more on par with the amount the Shipper or Broker would pay his or her own driver/employee- not a company providing safe, professional, and efficient services. Pros Access to a loathe number of loads. It would be nice to be able to utilize a cellphone browser in order to login and set alarms for a load search. Cons Spot Rates quotes on average $100-$300 less than competitors, and no way to effectively filter out junk loads- like the ones out of Shady Dale, GA. Review Source TB Thurman B. Pros I like the feature rich environment that it has. Being able to sort via “per mile” is awesome! Cons I’m trying to get my business off the ground. It’s tough. I’d like to see better benefits for less than 1 year. Those who already have the money can spend more to beat out us beginners. Pros The DAT load board is easy to use and navigate. Alarm setup helps with searching for multiple lanes at the same time. Credit score and days to pay from brokers is also very helpful. Cons Brokers posting misleading and partial information, sometimes outright lies. Same load is being posted multiple times creating a illusion of multiple loads. There is a check mark indicating that its approved, or only showes me the approved one. Cons Maybe the ability to leave a note for oneself about the broker that I have already contacted. Sometimes I repeated calling the same broker after I forgot the details of why I couldn't take that load. After you make a few calls you forget the details of a load that looked promising earlier but the load would not work for some unique reason.
