Highly recommend it. Pros I can say this is a great tool for an employee to see every HR-related activity and payroll on one website. Easy to navigate and easy to get used to utilizing the features in Workday - calendar, request PTO, and performance report submissions. In addition, I'm positive that it forces me to change the password frequently. I'm not a person who regularly changes the password, so whenever I get the message from Workday, I realize it's time to change to keep my information safe - since this software has sensitive/personal/important information, Cons Even though it is easy to navigate, some features usually used need to go through several steps to find them. Pros Moving from Paylocity to Workday was a breath of fresh air. The platform is intuitive and engaging. Cons I did find running reports to be a bit of a challenge. You can refer candidates for the open roles easily. Cons Workday has a really old UI. Pros Workday is a great tool to track vacation time, sick time and holiday time, it allows the user submit time for approval and manager to approve or dis approve the time allotted with comments and time is tracked for the entire year based on hours. Workday also tracks compensation, reviews and much more Cons There really is no cons to this Workday software, its great tool for tracking. The recruitment dashboard is a great plus and has made our lives easier. Another good thing about Workday is that it syncs with Expensify and Netsuite. Pros One of the best things for me while using this system as an administrator was being able to have a track on where all the employees time was being spend during the day and having the ability to work with time off request in a fast and easy way. Adjusting time for a big team can be a pain for just one person, but you can have different people assigned to different teams and have each team supervisor work with all related to their team. Cons The scheduling part of this can be a bit friendly user. I had a bit of trouble setting up schedule for each employee. Pros Delegation and organization of employee workflow tasks is a breeze with Workday. The application is very user friendly and allows for the creation and implementation of tasks, whether for a small or massive workforce so that even the biggest projects can be easily broken down into steps and achieved with ease. Especially now that it has begun to integrate notifications with Microsoft Teams. This feature helps me make sure any time off or timesheet errors are handled in a timely fashion. Cons I do wish Workday would communicate more freely with Microsoft Outlook. Pros Workday has a ton of helpful features all in one system — payroll, benefits, time tracking, and even performance reviews. I like that you can see pretty much everything about your job in one place, and it’s nice being able to update personal info or check pay stubs without needing to email HR. The mobile app is handy for quick tasks, and it’s great for larger companies that want everything connected. Cons It’s not the most user-friendly platform. Sometimes it takes a lot of clicks to find what you’re looking for, and the layout can feel confusing if you’re new to it. It’s also pretty slow at times, especially when a lot of people are using it. Training or help from HR is usually needed to figure things out at first. Pros I use Workday mostly for clocking in and out everyday and submitting time sheets. I’ll also use it for Workday Learning, which consists of learning modules relevant to my company. I’d say altogether it’s very straightforward to use. Cons I wish that I could reorganize apps on the Home Screen of the mobile app to better suit what I use most.
