Overall, I am completely pleased with the entire platform. I have multiple programs with multiple clients and everyone can use the platform with ease. It gives me the added layer of confidence I need to manage multiple programs at once!.

Pros

Cvent remains a completely trusted brand that has updated features to aid my venue sourcing and complete event management. I find the platform to be completely user friendly and have no trouble navigating the software.

Cons

I have been a long time user of Cvent and it remains the gold standard. NO cons and has updated features making it even more helpful and relevant!

Very positive. It’s a highly stable and professional platform we trust for IT and pharma events, from product launches to roadshows. Support can be slow, so we rely on the Community first, but the system itself has never failed us during an event. Great value if you use it fully and invest time in learning it.

Pros

The registration system and post-event follow-up tools. We love how easily we can track attendees, filter qualified leads for our clients, and send automated surveys. The email and website builder is also super intuitive—very visual and fast to work with.

Cons

The learning curve. Cvent is packed with features, but it takes time to master. There are constant updates and new tools, so you really have to stay on top of training. Also, the cost is high—especially for teams in Latin America.

We actually use both platforms. Eventtia is much more affordable and faster for basic events—we can set up a registration in minutes, which is great when time and budget are tight. Cvent, while far more powerful and professional, takes longer to configure. Even when cloning events, there’s a lot of manual setup, so sometimes it’s easier to start from scratch. We use Cvent for larger, more complex events where we need advanced tracking, reporting, and integration.

Overall, Cvent is Just Okay. I do feel like the sales reps (during your software search) sell you "a lot," only for many of those features not to have been past Beta testing or not to be available yet... so that's a bit misleading. We did struggle with features not working on 'Game Day' and not being able to get ahold of our support team member, but I do think that was likely due to the time zone differences.

Pros

While my company utilized this platform for our one big event, which we hold every year, I felt the all-in-one user interface was a significant aspect to include in the package. Keeping each feature internal made my job easier in the long run.

Cons

I do feel like Cvent could have improved their ease of use throughout the app, perhaps automating a few more steps, or even considering restrictions and required portions so that vendors using the Exhibitor Portal stayed honest within our tiered offerings. I do wish their customer support team were more readily available. Oftentimes, we would get set up with a team member, and they would either leave their role before our event or be out of range if we needed them in the moment. Not very reliable.

Pros

I have used multiple event management platforms but Cvent by far is the most advanced solution which provides comprehensive solution from event planning, website, registration, app to on-site execution support.

Cons

It's complex to understand for new users and constant change in feature/ UI without proper communication to users makes it difficult to keep up with software.

I really liked how easy Cvent made it to manage everything in one place — from registrations to session tracking. Cons

At times, the platform felt a bit clunky and took a while to navigate between sections. Pros

is a tool that streamlines all of my event's most important elements - an event website, attendee list, reporting features, badge printing and so much more.

Cons

There are some features that take some time and research to fully understand how to use to the fullest capability, but I have found both the Cvent Community and Cvent support to be invaluable in helping ensure I overcome any issues I encounter.

I believe my association has been working in Cvent since 2013. I can remember day one like it was yesterday. I couldn't wait until I was able to work fluidly in Cvent. I am certified in Cvent Classic and am very excited about being signed up to get certified in Flex today!

Pros

I love that we are able to customize meeting builds. I also love that if there is something you want to learn how to do or if you need to troubleshoot customer support is available.

Cons

I wish the cvent library worked the same way it did in the classic version. I keep hearing it's being worked on and would love if it's moved up on the list. :-)

What I liked most about is that it brings everything into one central system. From registration and communications to onsite check-in and reporting. It saved time, made the attendee experience smoother, and gave us clear insights into event performance.

Cons

What I liked least about was the steep learning curve at the beginning. While it’s very powerful once you know your way around, the setup and customisation took longer than expected.

it was ok. it was pricey and customer service was awful. it was easy to use, but we had to come up with our own workarounds because we couldnt customize as we wanted to.

Pros

fairly easy to set up your event, and the ability to duplicate it annually was nice. user interface was also easy to see.

Cons

worst customer service ever, with high employee turnover, which was not helpful in a crisis. especially on site.

I've been using for several years and it's been a great tool for our 2 annual meetings. It helps me stay organized and confident that our attendees will have a great experience on the website. Did I mention that the customer support team is second to none?

Pros

I really like ease of creating events and the customer support is outstanding! The Event Management is a great value for the money.

Cons

I'm not a fan of Valerie. I feel like it just takes me in circles and I end up contacting customer support anyhow.

My overall experience with CVENT is pretty good. We use this platform regularly as we conduct many events in a year. I do not feel like it is very user friendly but it does have capabilities that other platforms do not have which is vital to the way we gather data during the registration process.

Pros

CVENT has a lot of capabilities that other platforms do not such as the ability to link questions, have sub questions and do conditional settings. The customer support is great and has always been able to find a solution to my issues.

Cons

There are often many areas you have to modify for a single final action. For example, for an event to be live, you have to have the event live, the registration active AND the admission types active. Some of the design features are very limited and modifying things like images can be very challenging. We often have repeat business and are finding that when we copy an event, there are a lot of hidden settings that get copied over and can make the new copy a bit messy.

When I used it I loved it. It was so easy to run conferences and workshop with CVENT.

Cons

I don't really have any cons. The con for me is that my university has its own system and would not allow me to use Cvent any longer.

I have been using Cvent since 2014 and can say that I have had a great experience over the past 10 years and have seen so many new updates and features rolled out that make me excited to see what they can offer in the future, as well.

Pros

I like having the ability to execute an event from its inception all the way through execution and post-event using all of the Cvent platform whether it be via the Event Management platform, the mobile app, and onsite management.

Cons

The only con I would say is there is a limit to how customized you can make things at a certain point.
